Psalms 83

1 A Song of a Psalm for Asaph. O God, who shall be compared to you? be not silent, neither be still, O God.

Kanto-psalmo de Asaf. Ho Dio, ne silentu; Ne estu senparola kaj ne restu trankvila, ho Dio!

2 For behold, your enemies have made a noise; and they that hate you have lifted up the head.

Ĉar jen Viaj malamikoj ekbruis, Kaj Viaj malamantoj levis la kapon.

3 Against your people they have craftily imagined a device, and have taken counsel against your saints.

Kontraŭ Via popolo ili sekrete konspiras, Kaj ili konsiliĝas kontraŭ Viaj gardatoj.

4 They have said, Come, and let us utterly destroy them out of the nation; and let the name of Israel be remembered no more at all.

Ili diris: Ni iru, kaj ni ekstermu ilin el inter la popoloj, Ke oni ne plu rememoru la nomon de Izrael.

5 For they have taken counsel together with one consent: they have made a confederacy against you;

Ĉar ili unuanime interkonsentis, Ili faris interligon kontraŭ Vi:

6 even the tents of the Idumeans, and the Ismaelites; Moab, and the Agarenes;

La tendoj de Edom kaj la Iŝmaelidoj, Moab kaj la Hagaridoj,

7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalec; the Philistines also, with them that dwell at Tyre.

Gebal kaj Amon kaj Amalek, La Filiŝtoj kun la loĝantoj de Tiro;

8 Yes, Assur too is come with them: they have become a help to the children of Lot. (Pause)

Ankaŭ Asirio aliĝis al ili Kaj fariĝis helpo al la idoj de Lot. (Sela)

9 Do you to them as to Madiam, and to Sisera; as to Jabin at the brook of Kison.

Faru al ili, kiel al Midjan, Kiel al Sisera, kiel al Jabin ĉe la torento Kiŝon,

10 They were utterly destroyed at Aendor: they became as dung for the earth.

Kiuj estis ekstermitaj en En-Dor Kaj fariĝis sterko por la tero.

11 Make their princes as Oreb and Zeb, and Zebee and Salmana; [even] all their princes:

Agu kun iliaj princoj kiel kun Oreb kaj Zeeb, Kaj kun ĉiuj iliaj estroj kiel kun Zebaĥ kaj Calmuna,

12 who said, let us take to ourselves the altar of God as an inheritance.

Kiuj diris: Ni ekposedu la loĝejon de Dio!

13 O my God, make them as a wheel; as stubble before the face of the wind.

Ho mia Dio, similigu ilin al turniĝanta polvo, Al pajlrestaĵo antaŭ vento.

14 As fire which shall burn up a wood, as the flame may consume the mountains;

Kiel fajro bruligas arbaron, Kaj kiel flamo bruldezertigas montojn,

15 so shall you persecute them with your tempest, and trouble them in your anger.

Tiel pelu ilin per Via ventego, Kaj per Via fulmotondro ilin timigu.

16 Fill their faces with dishonour; so shall they seek your name, O Lord.

Plenigu ilian vizaĝon per malhonoro, Por ke ili turniĝu al Via nomo, ho Eternulo.

17 Let them be ashamed and troubled for evermore; yes, let them be confounded and destroyed.

Ili estu hontigitaj kaj timigitaj por ĉiam, Ili malhonoriĝu kaj pereu.

18 And let them know that your name is Lord; that you alone are Most High over all the earth.

Kaj ili eksciu, ke Vi, kies nomo estas ETERNULO, Estas sola Plejaltulo super la tuta tero.
