Psalms 6
1 For the End, a Psalm of David amongst the Hymns for the eighth. O Lord, rebuke me not in your wrath, neither chasten me in your anger.
૧મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે; તારવાળાં વાજાં સાથે, શમીનીથ પ્રમાણે ગાવાને. દાઉદનું ગીત. હે યહોવાહ, તમારા ક્રોધમાં મને ધમકાવશો નહિ અને તમારા રોષમાં મને શિક્ષા કરશો નહિ.
2 Pity me, O Lord; for I am weak: heal me, O Lord; for my bones are vexed.
૨હે યહોવાહ, મારા પર દયા રાખો, કારણ કે હું નિર્બળ છું; હે યહોવાહ, મને સાજો કરો, કારણ કે મારાં હાડકાંમાં પીડા થાય છે.
3 My soul also is grievously vexed: but you, O Lord, how long?
૩મારો જીવ પણ બહુ મૂંઝાયો છે. પણ, હે યહોવાહ, તે ક્યાં સુધી?
4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: save me for your mercy's sake.
૪હે યહોવાહ, પાછા આવો, મારા જીવને બચાવો. તમારી કૃપાને લીધે મારો બચાવ કરો!
૫કેમ કે મરણાવસ્થામાં કોઈ તમારું સ્મરણ કરતું નથી. શેઓલમાં તમારો આભાર કોણ માનશે? (Sheol h7585)
6 I am wearied with my groaning; I shall wash my bed every night; I shall water my couch with tears.
૬હું નિસાસા નાખીને થાકી ગયો છું. દરરોજ રાત્રે હું મારા આંસુઓથી પલંગને પલાળું છું; હું આંસુઓથી મારા બિછાનાને ભીંજવું છું.
7 Mine eye is troubled because of my wrath; I am worn out because of all my enemies.
૭રુદનથી મારી આંખો નબળી થઈ ગઈ છે; મારા સર્વ શત્રુઓને લીધે તે જીર્ણ થતી જાય છે.
8 Depart from me, all you that work iniquity; for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
૮ઓ ભૂંડુ કરનારાઓ, તમે સર્વ મારાથી દૂર જાઓ; કેમ કે યહોવાહે મારા વિલાપનો અવાજ સાંભળ્યો છે.
9 The Lord has listened to my petition; the Lord has accepted my prayer.
૯યહોવાહે મારા કાલાવાલા સાંભળ્યા છે; યહોવાહે મારી પ્રાર્થના માન્ય કરી છે.
10 Let all mine enemies be put to shame and sore troubled: let them be turned back and grievously put to shame speedily.
૧૦મારા સર્વ શત્રુઓ લજવાશે અને ભારે મુશ્કેલીમાં આવી પડશે. તેઓ પાછા ફરશે અને ઓચિંતા બદનામ થશે.
