< Michaeas 4 >

1 And at the last days the mountain of the Lord shall be manifest, established on the tops of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and the peoples shall hasten to it.
Ka ʻe hoko ʻo pehē ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ʻamui, ʻe fokotuʻumaʻu ʻae moʻunga ʻoe fale ʻo Sihova ʻi he tumutumu ʻoe ngaahi moʻunga, pea ʻe hakeakiʻi ia ke māʻolunga ʻi he ngaahi tafungofunga; pea ʻe tafe atu ki ai ʻae kakai.
2 And many nations shall go, and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and they shall show us his way, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Sion shall go forth a law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
He ko e fono ʻe ʻalu atu mei Saione, mo e folofola ʻa Sihova mei Selūsalema.
3 And he shall judge amongst many peoples, and shall rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into sickles; and nation shall no more lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn to war any more.
Pea te ne fakamaau ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe ngaahi kakai, mo valokiʻi ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga mālohi ʻoku mamaʻo atu; pea te nau tuki ʻenau ngaahi heletā, ko e ngaahi huo toho, pea mo ʻenau ngaahi tao, ko e ngaahi hele ʻauhani: ʻe ʻikai hiki ʻe ha puleʻanga ʻae heletā ki ha puleʻanga, pea ʻe ʻikai te nau toe ako ki he tau.
4 And every one shall rest under his vine, and every one under his fig tree; and there shall be none to alarm [them]: for the mouth of the Lord Almighty has spoken these [words].
Ka te nau nofo taki taha ʻae tangata ʻi he malumalu ʻo hono vaine, mo e malumalu ʻo hono fiki; pea ʻe ʻikai ha niʻihi ke fakamanavahēʻi ʻakinautolu: he ko e fofonga ʻo Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau kuo ne folofola ai.
5 For all [other] nations shall walk everyone in his own way, but we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.
He ko e kakai kotoa pē ʻe ʻeveʻeva taki taha ʻi he hingoa ʻo hono ʻOtua, pea te mau ʻeveʻeva ʻi he huafa ʻo Sihova ko homau ʻOtua ʻo lauikuonga mo taʻengata.
6 In that day, says the Lord, I will gather her that is bruised, and will receive her that is cast out, and those whom I rejected.
‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ʻI he ʻaho ko ia, te u tānaki ʻaia naʻe lotolotoua, pea te u fakataha ʻaia naʻe kapusi kituʻa, pea mo ia kuo u fakamamahi;
7 And I will make her that was bruised a remnant, and her that was rejected a mighty nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Sion from henceforth, even for ever.
8 And you, dark tower of the flock, daughter of Sion, on you the dominion shall come and enter in, [even] the first kingdom from Babylon to the daughter of Jerusalem.
Pea ko koe, ʻe fale leʻo ʻo Iteli, ko e potu mālohi ʻoe ʻofefine ʻo Saione, ʻe hoko kiate koe, ʻio, ʻae ʻuluaki pule: ʻe hoko ʻae puleʻanga ki he ʻofefine ʻo Selūsalema.
9 And now, why have you known calamities? was there not a king to you? or has your counsel perished that pangs as of a woman in travail have seized upon you?
Ko eni, ko e hā ʻoku ke tangi kalanga ai? ʻOku ʻikai ha tuʻi kiate koe? Kuo ʻauha hoʻo tangata ako fono? He ko e mamahi kuo ne maʻu koe, ʻo hangē ha fefine langā.
10 Be in pain, and strengthen yourself, and draw near, O daughter of Sion, as a woman in travail: for now you shall go forth out of the city, and shall lodge in the plain, and shall reach even to Babylon: thence shall the Lord your God deliver you, and thence shall he redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.
‌ʻIo, te ke mamahi, pea ke feinga ke fāʻeleʻi, ʻe ʻofefine ʻo Saione, ʻo hangē ha fefine ʻoku langā: he ko eni, te ke toki ʻalu atu ʻi he kolo, pea te ke nofo ʻi he ngoue, pea te ke ʻalu, ʻio, ki Papilone; ʻe fakahaofi koe ʻi ai; ʻe huhuʻi koe ʻi ai ʻe Sihova, mei he nima ʻo ho ngaahi fili.
11 And now have many nations gathered against you, saying, We will rejoice, and our eyes shall look upon Sion.
Kuo fakataha ni foki ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga kiate koe, ʻaia ʻoku nau pehē, “Ke fakaʻuliʻi ia, pea ke sio hotau mata ki Saione.”
12 But they know not the thought of the Lord, and have not understood his counsel: for he has gathered them as sheaves of the floor.
Ka ʻoku ʻikai te nau ʻilo ʻae ngaahi fakakaukau ʻa Sihova, pea ʻoku ʻikai te nau poto ʻi heʻene ngaahi filioʻi: he te ne tānaki ʻakinautolu ʻo hangē ko e ngaahi ū koane ki he feleoko.
13 Arise, and thresh them, O daughter of Sion: for I will make your horns iron, and I will make your hoofs brass: and you shall utterly destroy many nations, and shall consecrate their abundance to the Lord, and their strength to the Lord of all the earth.
