Esias 38
1 And it came to pass at that time, [that] Ezekias was sick even to death. And Esaias the prophet the son of Amos came to him, and said to him, Thus says the Lord, Give orders concerning your house: for you shall die, and not live.
| در آن ایام حزقیا بیمار و مشرف به موت شد و اشعیا ابن آموص نبی نزد وی آمده، او را گفت: «خداوند چنین می‌گوید: تدارک خانه خود را ببین زیرا که می‌میری و زنده نخواهی ماند.» | ۱ |
2 And Ezekias turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying,
| آنگاه حزقیا روی خود را بسوی دیواربرگردانیده، نزد خداوند دعا نمود، | ۲ |
3 Remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you in truth, with a true heart, and have done that which was pleasing in your sight. And Ezekias wept bitterly.
| و گفت: «ای خداوند مستدعی اینکه بیاد آوری که چگونه به حضور تو به امانت و به دل کامل سلوک نموده‌ام وآنچه در نظر تو پسند بوده است بجا آورده‌ام.» پس حزقیا زار‌زار بگریست. | ۳ |
4 And the word of the Lord came to Esaias, saying, Go, and say to Ezekias,
| و کلام خداوند بر اشعیا نازل شده، گفت: | ۴ |
5 Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, and seen your tears: behold, I [will] add to your time fifteen years.
| «برو و به حزقیا بگو یهوه خدای پدرت داود چنین می‌گوید: دعای تو راشنیدم و اشکهایت را دیدم. اینک من بر روزهای تو پانزده سال افزودم. | ۵ |
6 And I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of the Assyrians: and I will defend this city.
| و تو را و این شهر را ازدست پادشاه آشور خواهم رهانید و این شهر راحمایت خواهم نمود. | ۶ |
7 And this [shall be] a sign to you from the Lord, that God will do this thing;
| و علامت از جانب خداوند که خداوند این کلام را که گفته است بجاخواهد آورد این است: | ۷ |
8 behold, I will turn back the shadow of the degrees [of the dial] by which ten degrees on the house of your father the sun has gone down—I will turn back the sun the ten degrees; so the sun went back the ten degrees by which the shadow had gone down.
| اینک سایه درجاتی که از آفتاب بر ساعت آفتابی آحاز پایین رفته است ده درجه به عقب برمی گردانم.» پس آفتاب ازدرجاتی که بر ساعت آفتابی پایین رفته بود، ده درجه برگشت. | ۸ |
9 THE PRAYER OF EZEKIAS KING OF JUDEA, WHEN HE HAD BEEN SICK, AND WAS RECOVERED FROM HIS SICKNESS.
| مکتوب حزقیا پادشاه یهودا وقتی که بیمارشد و از بیماریش شفا یافت: | ۹ |
10 I said in the end of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I shall part with the remainder of my years. (Sheol h7585)
| من گفتم: «اینک در فیروزی ایام خود به درهای هاویه می‌روم و ازبقیه سالهای خود محروم می‌شوم. (Sheol h7585) | ۱۰ |
11 I said, I shall no more at all see the salvation of God in the land of the living: I shall no more at all see the salvation of Israel on the earth: I shall no more at all see man.
| گفتم: خداوند را مشاهده نمی نمایم. خداوند را در زمین زندگان نخواهم دید. من با ساکنان عالم فنا انسان را دیگر نخواهم دید. | ۱۱ |
12 [My life] has failed from amongst my kindred: I have parted with the remainder of my life: it has gone forth and departed from me, as one that having pitched a tent takes it down [again]: my breath was with me as a weaver's web, when she that weaves draws near to cut off [the] thread.
| خانه من کنده گردید ومثل خیمه شبان از من برده شد. مثل نساج عمرخود را پیچیدم. او مرا از نورد خواهد برید. روز وشب مرا تمام خواهی کرد. | ۱۲ |
13 In that day I was given up as to a lion until the morning: so has he broken all my bones: for I was so given up from day [even] to night.
| تا صبح انتظارکشیدم. مثل شیر همچنین تمامی استخوانهایم رامی شکند. روز و شب مرا تمام خواهی کرد. | ۱۳ |
14 As a swallow, so will I cry, and as a dove, so do I mourn: for mine eyes have failed with looking to the height of heaven to the Lord, who has delivered me, and removed the sorrow of my soul.
| مثل پرستوک که جیک جیک می‌کند صدامی نمایم. و مانند فاخته ناله می‌کنم و چشمانم ازنگریستن به بالا ضعیف می‌شود. ای خداوند درتنگی هستم کفیل من باش. | ۱۴ |
| «چه بگویم چونکه او به من گفته است وخود او کرده است. تمامی سالهای خود را به‌سبب تلخی جانم آهسته خواهم رفت. | ۱۵ |
16 [Yes], O Lord, for it was told you concerning this; and you have revived my breath; and I am comforted, and live.
| ای خداوند به این چیزها مردمان زیست می‌کنند و به اینها و بس حیات روح من می‌باشد. پس مرا شفابده و مرا زنده نگاه دار. | ۱۶ |
17 For you have chosen my soul, that it should not perish: and you have cast all [my] sins behind me.
| اینک تلخی سخت من باعث سلامتی من شد. از راه لطف جانم را از چاه هلاکت برآوردی زیرا که تمامی گناهانم را به پشت سر خود انداختی. | ۱۷ |
18 For they that are in the grave shall not praise you, neither shall the dead bless you, neither shall they that are in Hades hope for your mercy. (Sheol h7585)
| زیرا که هاویه تو راحمد نمی گوید و موت تو را تسبیح نمی خواند. وآنانی که به حفره فرو می‌روند به امانت تو امیدوارنمی باشند. (Sheol h7585) | ۱۸ |
19 The living shall bless you, as I also [do]: for from this day shall I beget children, who shall declare your righteousness,
| زندگانند، زندگانند که تو را حمدمی گویند، چنانکه من امروز می‌گویم. پدران به پسران راستی تو را تعلیم خواهند داد. | ۱۹ |
20 O God of my salvation; and I will not cease blessing you with the lute all the days of my life before the house of God.
| خداوندبه جهت نجات من حاضر است، پس سرودهایم را در تمامی روزهای عمر خود در خانه خداوندخواهیم سرایید.» | ۲۰ |
21 Now Esaias had said to Ezekias; Take a cake of figs, and mash them, and apply them as a plaster, and you shall be well.
| و اشعیا گفته بود که قرصی از انجیر بگیریدو آن را بر دمل بنهید که شفا خواهد یافت. | ۲۱ |
22 And Ezekias said, This is a sign to Ezekias, that I shall go up to the house of God.
| وحزقیا گفته بود علامتی که به خانه خداوندبرخواهم آمد چیست؟ | ۲۲ |
