Ezra 2
1 And these [are] the people of the land that went up, of the number of prisoners who were removed, whom Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon carried away to Babylon, and they returned to Juda and Jerusalem, every man to his city;
੧ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਆਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਇਹ ਹਨ -
2 who came with Zorobabel: Jesus, Neemias, Saraias, Reelias, Mardochaeus, Balasan, Masphar, Baguai, Reum, Baana. The number of the people of Israel:
੨ਇਹ ਜ਼ਰੂੱਬਾਬਲ, ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ, ਨਹਮਯਾਹ, ਸਰਾਯਾਹ, ਰਏਲਾਯਾਹ, ਮਾਰਦਕਈ, ਬਿਲਸ਼ਾਨ, ਮਿਸਪਾਰ, ਬਿਗਵਈ, ਰਹੂਮ ਅਤੇ ਬਆਨਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ:
3 the children of Phares, two thousand and one hundred and seventy-two.
੩ਪਰੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਬਹੱਤਰ
4 The children of Saphatia, three hundred and seventy-two.
੪ਸ਼ਫ਼ਟਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਬਹੱਤਰ
5 The children of Ares, seven hundred and seventy-five.
੫ਆਰਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਪੰਝੱਤਰ
6 The children of Phaath Moab, belonging to the sons of Jesue [and] Joab, two thousand and eight hundred and twelve.
੬ਪਹਥ-ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅੱਠ ਸੌ ਬਾਰਾਂ
7 The children of Aelam, a thousand and two hundred and fifty-four.

16 The children of Ater [the son] of Ezekias, ninety eight.
੧੬ਅਟੇਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਠਾਨਵੇਂ

36 And the priests, the sons of Jedua, [belonging to] the house of Jesus, [were] nine hundred and seventy-three.
੩੬ਜਾਜਕ - ਯਦਾਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਜੋ ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਸਨ, ਨੌ ਸੌ ਤਿਹੱਤਰ
37 The children of Emmer, a thousand [and] fifty-two.
੩੭ਇੰਮੇਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਬਵੰਜਾ
38 The children of Phassur, a thousand and two hundred [and] forty-seven.
੩੮ਪਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਸੰਤਾਲੀ
39 The children of Erem, a thousand [and] seven.
੩੯ਹਾਰੀਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਤਾਰਾਂ।
40 And the Levites, the sons of Jesus and Cadmiel, belonging to the sons of Oduia, seventy-four.
੪੦ਲੇਵੀ - ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਦਮੀਏਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਜੋ ਹੋਦਵਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਨ, ਚੁਹੱਤਰ।
41 The sons of Asaph, singers, a hundred [and] twenty-eight.
੪੧ਗਾਇਕ - ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਅੱਠਾਈ
42 The children of the porters, the children of Sellum, the children of Ater, the children of Telmon, the children of Acub, the children of Atita, the children of Sobai, [in] all a hundred [and] thirty-nine.
੪੨ਦਰਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, - ਸ਼ੱਲੂਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਅਟੇਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤਲਮੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਅੱਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਟੀਟਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸ਼ੋਬਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਉਨਤਾਲੀ।

੪੩ਨਥੀਨੀਮ - ਸੀਹਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਸੂਫ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਟੱਬਾਓਥ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
44 the sons of Cades, the children of Siaa, the children of Phadon,
੪੪ਕੇਰੋਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੀਅਹਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪਾਦੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
45 the children of Labano, the children of Agaba, the sons of Acub,
੪੫ਲਬਾਨਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਗਾਬਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਅੱਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
46 the children of Agab, the children of Selami, the children of Anan,
੪੬ਹਾਗਾਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸ਼ਲਮਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਾਨਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
47 the children of Geddel, the children of Gaar, the children of Raia,
੪੭ਗਿੱਦੇਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਗਹਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਰਆਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,

੪੯ਉੱਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪਾਸੇਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਬੇਸਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
50 the children of Asena, the children of Mounim, the children of Nephusim,
੫੦ਅਸਨਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਮਊਨੀਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਨਫੁਸੀਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
51 the children of Bacbuc, the children of Acupha, the children of Arur,
੫੧ਬਕਬੂਕ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਕੂਫਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਰਹੂਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
52 the children of Basaloth, the children of Mauda, the children of Arsa,
੫੨ਬਸਲੂਥ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਮਹੀਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਰਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
53 the children of Barcos, the children of Sisara, the children of Thema,
੫੩ਬਰਕੋਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੀਸਰਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਥਾਮਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
54 the children of Nasthie, the children of Atupha.
੫੪ਨਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਟੀਫਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ।
55 The children of the servants of Solomon: the children of Sotai, the children of Sephera, the children of Phadura,
੫੫ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, - ਸੋਟਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਸੋਫਰਥ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪਰੂਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
56 the children of Jeela, the children of Darcon, the children of Gedel,
੫੬ਯਅਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਦਰਕੋਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਗਿੱਦੇਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
57 the children of Saphatia, the children of Atil, the children of Phacherath, the children of Aseboim, the children of Emei.
੫੭ਸ਼ਫਟਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹੱਟੀਲ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਪੋਕਰਥ-ਹੱਸਬਾਇਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ,
58 All the Nathanim, and the sons of Abdeselma [were] three hundred and ninety-two.
੫੮ਸਾਰੇ ਨਥੀਨੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਬਾਨਵੇਂ ਸੀ।
59 And these [are] they that went up from Thelmelech, Thelaresa, Cherub, Hedan, Emmer: and they were not able to tell the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
੫੯ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਲ-ਮੇਲਹ, ਤੇਲ-ਹਰਸਾ, ਕਰੂਬ, ਅਦੋਨ, ਇੰਮੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ,
60 the children of Dalaea, the children of Bua, the children of Tobias, the children of Necoda, six hundred [and] fifty-two.
੬੦ਦਲਾਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਤੋਬਿਆਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਨਕੋਦਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਛੇ ਸੌ ਬਵੰਜਾ
61 And of the children of the priests, the children of Labeia, the children of Akkus, the children of Berzellai, who took a wife of the daughter of Berzellai the Galaadite, and was called by their name.
੬੧ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤੋਂ - ਹਬੱਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਹਕੋਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਬਰਜ਼ਿੱਲਈ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਗਿਲਆਦੀ ਬਰਜ਼ਿੱਲਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਕੁੜੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੱਦੇ ਗਏ।
62 These sought their genealogy [as though] they had been reckoned, but they were not found; and they were removed, [as polluted], from the priesthood.
੬੨ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਪਰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਜਕਾਈ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢੇ ਗਏ।
63 And the Athersastha told them that they should not eat of the most holy things, until a priest should arise with Lights and Perfections.
੬੩ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਜਕ ਊਰੀਮ ਤੇ ਥੁੰਮੀਮ ਨਾਲ ਖੜਾ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਣਾ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
64 And all the congregation together [were] about forty-two thousand and three hundred and sixty;
੬੪ਸਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਬਤਾਲੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸੱਠ ਸੀ।
65 besides their menservants and maidservants, [and] these were seven thousand and three hundred [and] thirty-seven: and [amongst] these were two hundred singing men and singing women.
੬੫ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਸੱਤ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਸੌ ਸੈਂਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਰਾਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਗਣਾਂ ਸਨ।
66 Their horses [were] seven hundred [and] thirty-six, their mules, two hundred [and] forty-five.
੬੬ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਛੱਤੀ, ਖੱਚਰ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਪੰਤਾਲੀ,
67 Their camels, four hundred [and] thirty-five; their asses, six thousand and seven hundred [and] twenty.
੬੭ਊਠ ਚਾਰ ਸੌ ਪੈਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਧੇ ਛੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੱਤ ਸੌ ਵੀਹ ਸਨ।
68 And [some] of the chiefs of families, when they went into the house of the Lord that was in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its prepared place.
੬੮ਜਦ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ, ਤਦ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਭਵਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
69 According to their power they gave into the treasury of the work pure gold sixty-one thousand pieces, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.
