Kings II 23
1 And these [are] the last words of David. Faithful [is] David the son of Jessae, and faithful the man whom the Lord raised up to be the anointed of the God of Jacob, and beautiful [are] the psalms of Israel.
दाऊद की आख़री बातें यह हैं: दाऊद बिन यस्सी कहता है, या'नी यह उस शख़्स का कलाम है जो सरफ़राज़ किया गया, और या'क़ूब के ख़ुदा का ममसूह और इस्राईल का शीरीं नग़मा साज़ है।
2 The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, and his word [was] upon my tongue.
“ख़ुदावन्द की रूह ने मेरी ज़रिए' कलाम किया, और उसका सुख़न मेरी ज़बान पर था।
3 The God of Israel says, A watchman out of Israel spoke to me a parable: I said amongst men, How will you strengthen the fear of the anointed?
इस्राईल के ख़ुदा ने फ़रमाया। इस्राईल की चटटान ने मुझसे कहा। एक है जो सच्चाई से लोगों पर हुकूमत करता है। जो ख़ुदा के खौफ़ के साथ हुकूमत करता है।
4 And in the morning light of God, let the sun arise in the morning, from the light of which the Lord passed on, and as it were from the rain of the tender grass upon the earth.
वह सुबह की रोशनी की तरह होगा जब सूरज निकलता है, ऐसी सुबह जिसमें बादल न हो, जब नरम नरम घास ज़मीन में से, बारिश के बाद की साफ़ चमक के ज़रिए' निकलती है।
5 For my house [is] not so with the Mighty One: for he has made an everlasting covenant with me, ready, guarded at every time; for all my salvation and all my desire [is], that the wicked should not flourish.
मेरा घर तो सच मुच ख़ुदा के सामने ऐसा है भी नहीं, तो भी उसने मेरे साथ एक हमेशा का 'अहद, जिसकी सब बातें मु'अय्यन और पाएदार हैं बाँधा है, क्यूँकि यही मेरी सारी नजात और सारी मुराद है, अगरचे वह उसको बढ़ाता नहीं।
6 All these [are] as a thorn thrust forth, for they shall not be taken with the hand,
लेकिन झूठे लोग सब के सब काँटों की तरह ठहरेंगे जो हटा दिए जाते हैं, क्यूँकि वह हाथ से पकड़े नहीं जा सकते।
7 and a man shall not labour amongst them; and [one shall have] that which is fully armed with iron, and the staff of a spear, an he shall burn them with fire, and they shall be burnt in their shame.
बल्कि जो आदमी उनको छुए, ज़रूर है कि वह लोहे और नेज़ह की छड़ से मुसल्लह हो, इसलिए वह अपनी ही जगह में आग से बिल्कुल भस्म कर दिए जायेंगे।
8 These [are] the names of the mighty men of David: Jebosthe the Chananite is a captain of the third [part]: Adinon the Asonite, he drew his sword against eight hundred soldiers at once.
और दाऊद के बहादुरों के नाम यह हैं: या'नी तहकमोनी योशेब बशेबत जो सिपह सालार का सरदार था, वही ऐज़नी अदीनो था जिससे आठ सौ एक ही वक़्त में मक़तूल हुए।
9 And after him Eleanan the son of his uncle, son of Dudi who was amongst the three mighty men with David; and when he defied the Philistines they were gathered there to war, and the men of Israel went up.
उसके बाद एक अखूही के बेटे दोदे का बेटा एलियाज़र था, यह उन तीनों सूरमाओं में से एक था जो दाऊद के साथ उस वक़्त थे, जब उन्होंने उन फ़िलिस्तियों को जो लड़ाई के लिए जमा' हुए थे लल्कारा हालाँकि सब बनी इस्राईल चले गये थे।
10 He arose an struck the Philistines, until his hand was weary, and his hand clave to the sword: and the Lord wrought a great salvation in that day, and the people rested behind him only to strip [the slain].
और उसने उठकर फ़िलिस्तियों को इतना मारा कि उसका हाथ थक कर तलवार से चिपक गया और ख़ुदावन्द ने उस दिन बड़ी फ़तह कराई और लोग फिर कर सिर्फ़ लूटने के लिए उसके पीछे हो लिए।
11 And after him Samaia the son of Asa the Arachite: and the Philistines were gathered to Theria; and there was there a portion of ground full of lentiles; and the people fled before the Philistines.
बाद उसके हरारी अजी का बेटा सम्मा था और फ़िलिस्तियों ने उस क़त — ए — ज़मीन के पास जो मसूर के पेड़ों से भरा था जमा' होकर दिल बाँध लिया था और लोग फ़िलिस्तियों के आगे से भाग गये थे।
12 And he stood firm in the midst of the portion, and rescued it, and struck the Philistines; and the Lord wrought a great deliverance.
लेकिन उसने उस क़ता' के बीच में खड़े होकर उसको बचाया और फ़िलिस्तियों को क़त्ल किया और ख़ुदावन्द ने बड़ी फ़तह कराई।
13 And three out of the thirty went down, and came to Cason to David, to the cave of Odollam; and [there was] an army of the Philistines, and they encamped in the valley of Raphain.
और उन तीस सरदारों में से तीन सरदार निकले और फ़सल काटने के मौसम में दाऊद के पास 'अदूल्लाम के मग़ारा में आए और फ़िलिस्तियों की फ़ौज रिफ़ाईम की वादी में ख़ेमा ज़न थी।
14 And David [was] then in the strong hold, and the garrison of the Philistines [was] then in Bethleem.
और दाऊद उस वक़्त गढ़ी में था और फ़िलिस्तियों के पहरे की चौकी बैतल हम में थी।
15 And David longed, and said, Who will give me water to drink out of the well that is in Bethleem by the gate? now the band of the Philistines [was] then in Bethleem.
और दाऊद ने तरसते हुए कहा, ऐ काश कोई मुझे बैतल हम के उस कुँवें का पानी पीने को देता जो फाटक के पास है।
16 And the three mighty men broke through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well that was in Bethleem in the gate: and they took it, and brought it to David, and he would not drink it, but poured it out before the Lord.
और उन तीनों बहादुरों ने फ़िलिस्तियों के लश्कर में से जाकर बैतल हम के कुँवें से जो फाटक के बराबर है पानी भर लिया और उसे दाऊद के पास लाये लेकिन उसने न चाहा कि पिए बल्कि उसे ख़ुदावन्द के सामने उंडेल दिया।
17 And he said, O Lord, forbid that I should do this, that I should drink of the blood of the men who went at [the risk of] their lives: and he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.
और कहने लगा, ऐ ख़ुदावन्द मुझसे यह बात हरगिज़ न हो कि मैं ऐसा करूँ, क्या मैं उन लोगों का ख़ून पियूँ जिन्होंने अपनी जान जोखों में डाली?” इसी लिए उसने न चाहा कि उसे पिए, उन तीनों बहादुरों ने ऐसे ऐसे काम किए।
18 And Abessa the brother of Joab the son of Saruia, he [was] chief amongst the three, and he lifted up his spear against three hundred whom he killed; and he had a name amongst three.
और ज़रोयाह के बेटे योआब का भाई अबीशै उन तीनों में अफ़ज़ल था, उसने तीन सौ पर अपना भाला चला कर उनको क़त्ल किया और तीनों में नामी था।
19 Of those three [he was] most honourable, and he became a chief over them, but he reached not to the [first] three.
क्या वह उन तीनों में ख़ास न था? इसीलिए वह उनका सरदार हुआ तो भी वह उन पहले तीनों के बराबर नहीं होने पाया।
20 And Banaeas the son of Jodae, he was abundant in [mighty] deeds, from Cabeseel, and he struck the two sons of Ariel of Moab: and he went down and struck a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day.
और यहूयदा' का बेटा बिनायाह क़बजील के एक सूरमा का बेटा था, जिसने बड़े बड़े काम किए थे, इसने मोआब के अरीऐल के दोनों बेटों को क़त्ल किया और जाकर बर्फ़ के मौसम में एक ग़ार के बीच एक शेर बबर को मारा।
21 He struck an Egyptian, a wonderful man, and in the hand of the Egyptian [was] a spear as the side of a ladder; and he went down to him with a staff, and snatched the spear from the Egyptian's hand, and killed him with his own spear.
और उसने एक जसीम मिस्री को क़त्ल किया, उस मिस्री के हाथ में भला था लेकिन यह लाठी ही लिए हुए उस पर लपका और मिस्री के हाथ से भला छीन लिया और उसी के भाले से उसे मारा।
22 These things did Banaeas the son of Jodae, and he had a name amongst the three mighty men.
तब यहूयदा' के बेटे बिनायाह ने ऐसे ऐसे काम किए और तीनों बहादुरों में नामी था।
23 He was honourable amongst the [second] three, but he reached not to the [first] three: and David made him his reporter. And these [are] the names of King David's mighty men.
वह उन तीसों से ज़्यादा ख़ास था लेकिन वह उन पहले तीनों के बराबर नहीं होने पाया और दाऊद ने उसे अपने मुहाफ़िज़ सिपाहियों पर मुक़र्रर किया।
24 Asael Joab's brother; he [was] amongst the thirty. Eleanan son of Dudi his uncle in Bethleem.
और तीसों में योआब का भाई 'असाहील और इल्हनान बैतल हम के दोदो का बेटा।
25 Saema the Rudaean.
हरोदी सम्मा, हरोदी इलिका।
26 Selles the Kelothite: Iras the son of Isca the Thecoite.
फ़लती ख़लिस, 'ईरा बिन 'अक़ीस तक़ू'अ।
27 Abiezer the Anothite, of the sons of the Anothite.
अन्तोती अबी'अज़र, हूसाती मबूनी।
28 Ellon the Aoite; Noere the Netophatite.
अखूही ज़ल्मोन, नतोफ़ाती महरी।
29 Esthai the son of Riba of Gabaeth, son of Benjamin the Ephrathite; Asmoth the Bardiamite; Emasu the Salabonite:
नतोफ़ाती बा'ना के बेटा हलिब, इती बिन रीबी बनी बिनयमीन के जिब्बा'का।
30 Adroi of the brooks.
फिर'आतोनी, बिनायाह, और जा'स के नालों कब हिद्दी।
31 Gadabiel son of the Arabothaeite.
'अरबाती अबी 'अल्बून, बर्हूमी 'अज़मावत।
32 the sons of Asan, Jonathan;
सा'लाबूनी इलीयाब, बनी यासीन यूनतन।
33 Samnan the Arodite; Amnan the son of Arai the Saraurite.
हरारी सम्मा, अख़ीआम बिन सरार हरारी।
34 Aliphaleth the son of Asbites, the son of the Machachachite; Eliab the son of Achitophel the Gelonite.
इलिफ़ालत बिन अहसबी मा'काती का बेटा, इलीआम बिन अख़ीतुफ्फ़ल जिलोनी।
35 Asarai the Carmelite the son of Uraeoerchi.
कर्मिली हसरो, अरबी फ़ा'री।
36 Gaal the son of Nathana. The son of much valour, [the son] of Galaaddi. Elie the Ammanite.
ज़ोबाह के नातन का बेटा इजाल, जद्दी बानी।
37 Gelore the Bethorite, armour-bearer to Joab, son of Saruia.
'अम्मोनी सिलक़, बैरोती नहरी, ज़रोयाह के बेटे योआब के सिलहबरदार।
38 Iras the Ethirite. Gerab the Ethenite.
इतरी 'ईरा, इतरी जरीब।
39 Urias the Chettite: thirty-seven in all.
और हित्ती ऊरिय्याह: यह सब सैंतीस थे।
