Chronicles I 2

1 These [are] the names of the sons of Israel;

QUESTI [furono] i figliuoli d'Israele: Ruben, Simeone, Levi e Giuda; Issacar e Zabulon;

2 Ruben, Symeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, Zabulon, Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephthali, Gad, Aser.

Dan, Giuseppe e Beniamino; Neftali, Gad ed Aser.

3 The sons of Juda; Er, Aunan, Selom. [These] three were born to him of the daughter of Sava the Chananitish woman: and Er, the firstborn of Juda, [was] wicked before the Lord, and he killed him.

I figliuoli di Giuda [furono] Er, ed Onan, e Sela. [Questi] tre gli nacquero dalla figliuola di Sua, Cananea. Or Er, primogenito di Giuda, dispiacque al Signore, ed egli lo fece morire.

4 And Thamar his daughter-in-law bore to him Phares, and Zara: all the sons of Juda [were] five.

E Tamar, sua nuora, gli partorì Fares e Zara. Tutti i figliuoli di Giuda [furono] cinque.

5 The sons of Phares, Esrom, and Jemuel.

I figliuoli di Fares[furono] Hesron ed Hamul.

6 And the sons of Zara, Zambri, and Aetham, and Aemuan, and Calchal, and Darad, [in] all five.

Ed i figliuoli di Zara [furono] Zimri, ed Etan, ed Heman, e Calcol, e Dara. In tutto cinque.

7 And the sons of Charmi; Achar the troubler of Israel, who was disobedient in the accursed thing.

E il figliuolo di Carmi [fu] Acar, quel che conturbò Israele, che commise misfatto intorno all'interdetto.

8 And the sons of Aetham; Azarias,

E il figliuolo di Etan [fu] Azaria.

9 and the sons of Esrom who were born to him; Jerameel, and Aram, and Chaleb.

Ed i figliuoli che nacquero ad Hesron [furono] Ierameel, e Ram, e Chelubai.

10 And Aram begot Aminadab, and Aminadab begot Naasson, chief of the house of Juda.

E Ram generò Amminadab, ed Amminadab generò Nahasson, capo de' figliuoli di Giuda.

11 And Naasson begot Salmon, and Salmon begot Booz,

E Nahasson generò Salma, e Salma generò Booz,

12 and Booz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jessae.

e Booz generò Obed, ed Obed generò Isai.

13 And Jessae begot his firstborn Eliab, Aminadab [was] the second, Samaa the third,

Ed Isai generò Eliab, suo primogenito, ed Abinadab il secondo, e Sima il terzo,

14 Nathanael the fourth, Zabdai the fifth,

15 Asam the sixth, David the seventh.

16 And their sister [was] Saruia, and [another] Abigaia: and the sons of Saruia [were] Abisa, and Joab, and Asael, three.

e le lor sorelle, Seruia ed Abigail. E i figliuoli di Seruia[furono] tre: Abisai, Ioab, e Asael.

17 And Abigaia bore Amessab: and the father of Amessab [was] Jothor the Ismaelite.

Ed Abigail partorì Amasa, il cui padre [fu] Ieter Ismaelita.

18 And Chaleb the son of Esrom took Gazuba to wife, and Jerioth: and these [were] her sons; Jasar, and Subab, and Ardon.

Or Caleb, figliuolo di Hesron, generò [figliuoli] con Azuba, sua moglie, e con Ieriot; e questi [furono] i figliuoli di quella: Ieser, e Sobab, ed Ardon.

19 And Gazuba died; and Chaleb took to himself Ephrath, and she bore to him Or.

E, morta Azuba, Caleb prese Efrat, la quale gli partorì Hur.

20 And Or begot Uri, and Uri begot Beseleel.

Ed Hur generò Uri, ed Uri generò Besaleel.

21 And after this Esron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Galaad, and he took her when he was sixty-five years old; and she bore him Seruch.

Poi Hesron entrò da una figliuola di Machir, padre di Galaad, e la prese, [essendo] egli già d'età di sessant'anni; ed essa gli partorì Segub.

22 And Seruch begot Jair, and he had twenty-three cities in Galaad.

E Segub generò Iair, il quale ebbe ventitre terre nel paese di Galaad;

23 And he took Gedsur and Aram, the towns of Jair from them; [with] Canath and its towns, sixty cities. All these [belonged to] the sons of Machir the father of Galaad.

e prese a' Ghesurei, ed a' Siri, le villate di Iair, [e] Chenat, con le terre del suo territorio, [che sono] sessanta terre. Esse [furono] dei figliuoli di Machir, padre di Galaad.

24 And after the death of Esron, Chaleb came to Ephratha; and the wife of Esron [was] Abia; and she bore him Ascho the father of Thecoe.

E dopo che fu morto Hesron, in Caleb di Efrata, Abia, moglie di Hesron, gli partorì Ashur, padre di Tecoa.

25 And the sons of Jerameel the firstborn of Esron [were], the firstborn Ram, and Banaa, and Aram, and Asan his brother.

E i figliuoli di Ierameel, primogenito di Hesron, furono Ram, il primogenito; poi Buna, ed Oren, ed Osem, ed Ahia.

26 And Jerameel had another wife, and her name [was] Atara: she is the mother of Ozom.

Or Ierameel ebbe un'altra moglie, il cui nome [era] Atara, [che] fu madre di Onam.

27 And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerameel were Maas, and Jamin, and Acor.

E i figliuoli di Ram, primogenito di Ierameel, furono Maas, e Iamin, ed Echer.

28 And the sons of Ozom were, Samai, and Jadae: and the sons of Samai; Nadab, and Abisur.

E i figliuoli di Onam furono Sammai, e Iada. E i figliuoli di Sammai [furono] Nadab ed Abisur.

29 And the name of the wife of Abisur [was] Abichaia, and she bore him Achabar, and Moel.

E il nome della moglie di Abisur [fu] Abihail, la quale gli partorì Aban e Molid.

30 And the sons of Nadab; Salad and Apphain; and Salad died without children.

E i figliuoli di Nadab [furono] Seled ed Appaim. E Seled morì senza figliuoli.

31 And the sons of Apphain, Isemiel; and the sons of Isemiel, Sosan; and the sons of Sosan, Dadai.

E il figliuolo di Appaim [fu] Isi; e il figliuolo d'Isi [fu] Sesan; e la figliuola di Sesan [fu] Alai.

32 And the sons of Dadai, Achisamas, Jether, Jonathan: and Jether died childless.

E i figliuoli di Iada, fratello di Sammai, [furono] Ieter e Gionatan; e Ieter morì senza figliuoli.

33 And the sons of Jonathan; Phaleth, and Hozam. These were the sons of Jerameel.

E i figliuoli di Gionatan [furono] Pelet e Zaza. Questi furono i figliuoli di Ierameel.

34 And Sosan had no sons, but daughters. And Sosan had an Egyptian servant, and his name [was] Jochel.

Or Sesan non ebbe figliuoli [maschi], ma una figliuola; ed avendo un servo Egizio, il cui nome [era] Iarha,

35 And Sosan gave his daughter to Jochel his servant to wife; and she bore him Ethi.

gli diede la sua figliuola per moglie, la quale gli partorì Attai.

36 And Ethi begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabed,

37 and Zabed begot Aphamel, and Aphamel begot Obed.

e Zabad generò Eflal, ed Eflal generò Obed.

38 And Obed begot Jeu, and Jeu begot Azarias.

39 And Azarias begot Chelles, and Chelles begot Eleasa,

ed Azaria generò Heles, ed Heles generò Elasa,

40 and Eleasa begot Sosomai, and Sosomai begot Salum,

ed Elasa generò Sismai, e Sismai generò Sallum,

41 and Salum begot Jechemias, and Jechemias begot Elisama, and Elisama begot Ismael.

e Sallum generò Iecamia, e Iecamia generò Elisama.

42 And the sons of Chaleb the brother of Jerameel [were], Marisa his firstborn, he [is] the father of Ziph: —and the sons of Marisa the father of Chebron.

E i figliuoli di Caleb, fratello di Ierameel, [furono] Mesa, suo primogenito, [che] fu padre di Zif; poi i figliuoli di Maresa, padre di Hebron.

43 And the sons of Chebron; Core, and Thapphus, and Recom, and Samaa.

E i figliuoli di Hebron [furono] Cora, e Tappua, e Rechem, e Sema.

44 And Samaa begot Raem the father of Jeclan: and Jeclan begot Samai.

E Sema generò Raham, padre di Iorcheam; e Rechem generò Sammai. E il figliuolo di Sammai [fu] Maon;

45 And his son [was] Maon: and Maon [is] the father of Baethsur.

e Maon [fu] padre di Bet-sur.

46 And Gaepha the concubine of Chaleb bore Aram, and Mosa, and Gezue.

Ed Efa, concubina di Caleb, partorì Haran, e Mosa, e Gazez. Ed Haran generò Gazez.

47 And the sons of Addai [were] Ragem, and Joatham, and Sogar, and Phalec, and Gaepha, and Sagae.

48 And Chaleb's concubine Mocha bore Saber, and Tharam.

[E] Maaca, concubina di Caleb, partorì Sebet e Tirhana.

49 She bore also Sagae the father of Madmena, and Sau the father of Machabena, and the father of Gaebal: and the daughter of Chaleb [was] Ascha.

Ella partorì eziandio Saaf, padre di Madman; e Seva, padre di Macbena, e padre di Ghiba; e la figliuola di Caleb [fu] Acsa.

50 These were the sons of Chaleb: the sons of Or the firstborn of Ephratha; Sobal the father of Cariathiarim,

Questi furono i figliuoli di Caleb, figliuolo di Hur, primogenito di Efrat, [cioè: ] Sobal, padre di Chiriat-iearim;

51 Salomon the father of Baetha, Lammon the father of Baethalaem, and Arim the father of Bethgedor.

Salma, padre di Bet-lehem; Haref, padre di Bet-gader.

52 And the sons of Sobal the father of Cariathiarim were Araa, and Aesi, and Ammanith,

E Sobal, padre di Chiriat-iearim, ebbe de' figliuoli, [cioè], Roe, [padre] della metà di Menuhot.

53 and Umasphae, cities of Jair; Aethalim, and Miphithim, and Hesamathim, and Hemasaraim; from these went forth the Sarathaeans, and the sons of Esthaam.

E le famiglie di Chiriat-iearim [furono] gl'Ittei, e i Putei, e i Sumatei, e i Misraei; di questi sono usciti i Soreatei e gli Estaolei.

54 The sons of Salomon; Baethalaem, the Netophathite, Ataroth of the house of Joab, and half of the family of Malathi, Esari.

I figliuoli di Salma [furono quei di] Bet-lehem, e i Netofatiti; [quei di] Atrot, di Bet-Ioab, e della metà di Menuhot, ed i Sorei.

55 The families of the scribes dwelling in Jabis; Thargathiim, and Samathiim, and Sochathim, these [are] the Kinaeans that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

E le famiglie degli Scribi, che abitavano in Iabes, [furono] i Tiratei, i Simatei, i Sucatei. Questi [sono] i Chenei, ch'erano usciti di Hamat, padre della casa di Recab.
