< Psalms 127 >

1 A Song of Degrees. Except the Lord build the house, they that build labour in vain: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman watches in vain.
MA Ieowa sota pan kauada im o, dodok en pwin sause sota pan katepa; ma Ieowa sota pan sinsila kanim o, saunmasamasan pan masamasan mal.
2 It is vain for you to rise early: ye rise up after resting, ye that eat the bread of grief; while he gives sleep to his beloved.
Sota katepa ong komail, ma komail pan paurida nin soran, ap pil pwand kamol ni pong, o toutouki okotme, ni omail mangamanga, pwe a kin kakepwapwala sapwilim a kompokepa kan ni ar mamair.
3 Behold, the inheritance of the Lord, children, the reward of the fruit of the womb.
Kilang, seri ko iei kisakis eu sang ren Ieowa, o wan aramas pai eu.
4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man; so are the children of those who were outcasts.
Duen kanangan kasik katieu nan pa en ol komad amen, iduen putak ko ar pan pwaida.
5 Blessed is the man who shall satisfy his desire with them: they shall not be ashamed when they shall speak to their enemies in the gates.
Meid pai ol o, me a lepan me direki mepukat! Re sota pan sarodi, ni ar kapung pena ren ar imwintiti kan.
