Chronicles I 28
1 And David assembled all the chief [men] of Israel, the chief of the judges, and all the chief [men] of the courses [of attendance] on the person of the king, and the captains of thousands and hundreds, and the treasurers, and the lords of his substance, and of all the king's property, and of his sons, together with the eunuchs, and the mighty men, and the warriors of the army, at Jerusalem.
೧ದಾವೀದನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಅರಸನ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ವರ್ಗನಾಯಕರು, ಸಹಸ್ರಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು, ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಅರಸನ ದನಕುರಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕರು, ರಾಜಪುತ್ರ ಪಾಲಕರು, ಕಂಚುಕಿಗಳು, ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದನು.
2 And David stood in the midst of the assembly, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and a place for the feet of our Lord, and I prepared [materials] suitable for the building:
೨ಅವರು ಸೇರಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಪಾದಪೀಠಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದೆನು.
3 but God said, Thou shalt not build me a house to call my name upon it, for thou art a man of war, and hast shed blood.
೩ಆಗ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ, ‘ನೀನು ಮಹಾಯುದ್ಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಬಹಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದವನು, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬಾರದು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
4 Yet the Lord God of Israel chose me out of the whole house of my father to be king over Israel for ever; and he chose Juda as the kingly [house], and out of the house of Juda [he chose] the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he preferred me, that I should be king over all Israel.
೪ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಸದಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಆತನು ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲವು ರಾಜಕುಲವಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೇಮಿಸಿ, ಆ ಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
5 And of all my sons, (for the Lord has given me many sons, ) he has chosen Solomon my son, to set him on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.
೫ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಅನೇಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವಾಗಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
6 And God said to me, Solomon thy son shall build my house and my court: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be to him a father.
೬ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೇ ನನ್ನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವನು. ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಮಗನಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆನು.
7 And I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he continue to keep my commandments, and my judgments, as [at] this day.
೭ಅವನು ಈಗಿನಂತೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವುದಾದರೆ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.’
8 And now [I charge you] before the whole assembly of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek all the commandments of the Lord our God, that ye may inherit the good land, and leave it for your sons to inherit after you for ever.
೮ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಿ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸಭೆಯಾದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಈ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದೇಶವು ಸದಾಕಾಲ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತಾನದವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವುದು.
9 And now, [my] son Solomon, know the God of thy fathers, and serve him with a perfect heart and willing soul: for the Lord searches all hearts, and knows every thought: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou shouldest forsake him, he will forsake thee for ever.
೯ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೇ, ನೀನಂತೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ, ಮನಸ್ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ ಆತನನ್ನೇ ಸೇವಿಸು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವವನೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನಸ್ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವನೂ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾನಲ್ಲಾ. ನೀನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದಾದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವನು. ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಿದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವನು.
10 See now, for the Lord has chosen thee to build him a house for a sanctuary, be strong and do [it].
೧೦ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಿರು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡು” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
11 And David gave Solomon his son the plan of the temple, and its buildings, and its treasuries, and its upper chambers, and the inner store-rooms, and the place of the atonement,
೧೧ತರುವಾಯ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮಂಟಪ, ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು, ಭಂಡಾರಗಳು, ಮೇಲುಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಗಳು, ಒಳಗಣ ಕೋಣೆಗಳು, ಕೃಪಾಸನ ಮಂದಿರ ಇವುಗಳ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
12 and the plan which he had in his mind of the courts of the house of the Lord, and of all the chambers round about, [designed] for the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the holy things, and of the chambers for resting:
೧೨ಇವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳು, ಸುತ್ತಣ ಕೋಣೆಗಳು, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಭಂಡಾರಗಳು, ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು, ಭಂಡಾರಗಳು ಇವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ,
13 and [the plan] of the courses of the priests and Levites, for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and of the stores of vessels for ministration of the service of the house of the Lord.
೧೩ಯಾಜಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರ ವರ್ಗಗಳು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯತಕ್ಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆರಾಧನೆ, ಆರಾಧನೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳು
14 And [he gave him] the account of their weight, both of gold and silver [vessels].
೧೪ಇವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದನು.
15 He gave him the weight of the candlesticks, and of the lamps.
೧೫ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆರಾಧನೆಯ ಆಯಾ ಆಚಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗಬೇಕಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತೂಕ, ಅಂದರೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹಣತೆಗಳಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭದ ತೂಕ, ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭದ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಹಣತೆಗಳ ತೂಕ,
16 He gave him likewise the weight of the tables of shewbread, of each table of gold, and likewise of the [tables of] silver:
೧೬ಮೀಸಲು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನಿಡುವ ಬಟ್ಟಲುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮೇಜಿಗೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತೂಕ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮೇಜುಗಳ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ತೂಕ,
17 also of the flesh-hooks, and vessels for drink-offering, and golden bowls: and the weight of the gold and silver [articles], and censers, [and] bowls, according to the weight of each.
೧೭ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಬೋಗುಣಿ, ಹೂಜಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಆಯಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳ ತೂಕ,
18 And he shewed him the weight [of the utensils] of the altar of incense, [which was] of pure gold, and the plan of the chariot of the cherubs that spread out their wings, and overshadowed the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
೧೮ಧೂಪವೇದಿಗೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತೂಕ ಎಷ್ಟೆಷ್ಟಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಕೆರೂಬಿವಾಹನದ ನಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
19 David gave all to Solomon in the Lord's handwriting, according to the knowledge given him of the work of the pattern.
೧೯ಆ ನಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ವಿವರವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ತನಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong, and play the man, and do: fear not, neither be terrified; for the Lord my God [is] with thee; he will not forsake thee, and will not fail thee, until thou hast finished all the work of the service of the house of the Lord. And behold the pattern of the temple, even his house, and its treasury, and the upper chambers, and the inner store-rooms, and the place of propitiation, and the plan of the house of the Lord.
೨೦ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ, “ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತನಾಗಿರು, ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರು, ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಹಾಕು, ಅಂಜಬೇಡ, ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಆಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ತೀರುವವರೆಗೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ತೊರೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
21 And see, [here are] the courses of the priests and Levites for all the service of the house of the Lord, and [there shall be] with thee [men] for every workmanship, and every one of ready skill in every art: also the chief men and all the people, [ready] for all thy commands.
೨೧ಇಗೋ, ಯಾಜಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರ ವರ್ಗಗಳವರು ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವಿದ್ದರೂ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಜಾಣತನದಿಂದ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮನಸ್ಸು ಉಳ್ಳವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬೆಂಬಲವಾಗಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುವರು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
