< Psalms 108 >

1 A Song. A Psalm. Of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will make songs and melody, even with my glory.
Ko e Hiva pe ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. ‌ʻE ʻOtua, kuo maʻu hoku loto; te u hiva mo ʻatu ʻae fakamālō ʻaki hoku nāunau.
2 Give out your sounds, O corded instruments: the dawn will be awaking with my song.
Ke ʻā hake ʻae saliteli mo e haʻape: te u ʻa hengihengi hake pe au.
3 I will give you praise, O Lord, among the peoples; I will make melody to you among the nations.
‌ʻE Sihova, te u fakamālō kiate koe ʻi he ʻao ʻoe kakai: pea te u hiva fakamālō kiate koe ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga.
4 For your mercy is higher than the heavens: and your unchanging faith than the clouds.
He ʻoku lahi hoʻo ʻaloʻofa ʻo māʻolunga hake ʻi he ngaahi langi: mo hoʻo moʻoni ʻoku aʻu atu ki he ngaahi ʻao.
5 Be lifted up, O God, higher than the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.
‌ʻE ʻOtua, ke māʻolunga lahi hake koe ʻi he ngaahi langi: pea ke māʻolunga hake ho nāunau ʻi māmani kotoa pē;
6 Let your right hand be stretched out for salvation, and give me an answer, so that your loved ones may be safe from danger.
Koeʻuhi ke hao ʻaia ʻoku ke ʻofa ai ke ke fakamoʻui ʻaki ho nima toʻomataʻu, ʻo talia au.
7 This is the word of the holy God: I will be glad; I will make Shechem a heritage, measuring out the valley of Succoth.
Kuo folofola ʻae ʻOtua ʻi heʻene māʻoniʻoni; te u fiefia, “Te u vaeua ʻa Sikemi, ʻo fuofua ʻae luo ʻo Sukote.
8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;
‌ʻOku ʻoʻoku ʻa Kiliati; ʻoku ʻoʻoku mo Manase; ko hono mālohi foki ʻo hoku ʻulu ʻa ʻIfalemi; ko ʻeku fai fono ʻa Siuta.
9 Moab is my washpot; on Edom is the resting-place of my shoe; over Philistia will I send out a glad cry.
Ko ʻeku ipu kaukauʻanga ʻa Moape; te u lī hoku topuvaʻe ki ʻolunga ki ʻItomi; te u vikiviki koeʻuhi ko Filisitia.”
10 Who will take me into the strong town? who will be my guide into Edom?
Ko hai te ne ʻomi au ki he kolo mālohi? Ko hai te ne aʻutaki au ki ʻItomi?
11 Have you not sent us away from you, O God? and you go not out with our armies.
‌ʻE ʻOtua, ʻe ʻikai, te ke fai ia, ʻa koe kuo ke liʻaki ʻakimautolu? Pea ʻikai te ke ʻalu atu, ʻE ʻOtua, mo ʻemau ngaahi kautau?
12 Give us help in our trouble; for there is no help in man.
Ke ke tuku kiate kimautolu ʻae tokoni ʻi he mamahi: he ʻoku taʻeʻaonga ʻae tokoni ʻae tangata.
13 With God we will do great things; for by him will our haters be crushed underfoot.
Ko e meʻa ʻi he ʻOtua te tau fai mālohi ai: he ko ia ia te ne malaki hifo hotau ngaahi fili.
