Genesis 24
1 By now Abraham was old and well along in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way.
၁အာဗြဟံသည်အို၍၊ အသက်အရွယ်ကြီးရင့်လှပြီ။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ အရာရာ၌ သူ့ကို ကောင်းကြီး ပေးတော်မူပြီ။
2 So Abraham instructed the chief servant of his household, who managed all he owned, “Place your hand under my thigh,
၂အာဗြဟံသည်၊ မိမိအိမ်သားတို့တွင် အသက်ကြီး ၍ ဘဏ္ဍာစိုးလုပ်သောသူကိုခေါ်လျက်၊
3 and I will have you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom I am dwelling,
၃သင်သည်၊ ငါနေသော ခါနာန်အမျိုးသမီးတို့ တွင်၊ ငါ့သားဘို့ မယားကို မရွေးမယူဘဲ၊
4 but will go to my country and my kindred to take a wife for my son Isaac.”
၄ငါ့ပြည်ငါ့အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့ထံသို့သွား၍၊ ငါ့သား ဣဇာက်အဘို့ မယားကိုယူရမည်ဟု၊ သင်၏လက်ကို ငါ့ ပေါင်အောက်၌ထားပြီးမှ၊ ကောင်းကင်မြေကြီးအရှင် ဘုရားသခင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို တိုင်တည်၍၊ ငါကျိန်ဆိုစေ ပါမည်ဟုဆို၏။
5 The servant asked him, “What if the woman is unwilling to follow me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the land from which you came?”
၅ကျွန်ကလည်း၊ မိန်းမသည်ဤပြည်သို့ ကိုယ်တော် ၏သားကို တဖန်ကျွန်တော်ခေါ်သွားရပါမည်လောဟု မေးလေသော်၊
6 Abraham replied, “Make sure that you do not take my son back there.
၆အာဗြဟံက၊ ထိုပြည်သို့ ငါ့သားကိုခေါ်၍ မသွား နှင့်။ သတိပြုလော့။
7 The LORD, the God of heaven, who brought me from my father’s house and my native land, who spoke to me and promised me on oath, saying, ‘To your offspring I will give this land’—He will send His angel before you so that you can take a wife for my son from there.
၇ငါ့အဘ၏အိမ်မှ၎င်း၊ ငါ့အမျိုးသားနေရာပြည်မှ ၎င်း ငါ့ကိုခေါ်၍၊ သင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ်အား ဤပြည်ကို ငါပေးမည်ဟု၊ငါ့အား ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ပေး၍ ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူ သော ကောင်းကင်ဘုံရှင်ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ မိမိကောင်းကင်တမန်ကို သင့်ရှေ့၌ စေလွှတ်တော်မူ သဖြင့်၊ သင်သည်ထိုပြည်မှ ငါ့သားဘို့ မယားကို ယူရလိမ့် မည်။
8 And if the woman is unwilling to follow you, then you are released from this oath of mine. Only do not take my son back there.”
၈မိန်းမသည်သင်နှင့်အတူ မလိုက်လိုလျှင်၊ သင် သည်၊ ယခုငါပေးသောကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်စေ။ ငါ့သားကို ထိုပြည်သို့ခေါ်၍ မသွားနှင့်ဟုဆိုပြီးမှ၊
9 So the servant placed his hand under the thigh of his master Abraham and swore an oath to him concerning this matter.
၉ကျွန်သည် သခင်အာဗြဟံ၏ ပေါင်အောက်၌ လက်ကိုထား၍ ထိုအမှု၌ကျန်ဆိုလေ၏။
10 Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed with all manner of good things from his master in hand. And he set out for Nahor’s hometown in Aram-naharaim.
၁၀ထိုကျွန်သည်လည်း၊ မိမိသခင်၏ဥစ္စာရှိသမျှကို စီရင်သောသူဖြစ်၍၊ သခင်၏ကုလားအုပ်စုထဲက၊ ကုလား အုပ်ဆယ်စီးကိုယူ၍ထသွားသဖြင့်၊ မေသောပေါဘာမိ တိုင်း၊ နာခေါ်မြို့သို့ ရောက်လေ၏။
11 As evening approached, he made the camels kneel down near the well outside the town at the time when the women went out to draw water.
၁၁မိန်းမများရေခပ်သော ညဦးယံအချိန်၌၊ မြို့ပြင် ရေတွင်းနားမှာ ကုလားအုပ်တို့ကို ဝပ်စေပြီးလျှင်၊
12 “O LORD, God of my master Abraham,” he prayed, “please grant me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham.
၁၂အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်၊ အာဗြဟံ၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ယနေ့ အကျွန်ုပ်အကြံကို ထမြောက်စေ၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင် အာဗြဟံ၌ ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူပါဟု၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ဆုတောင်းပါ၏။
13 Here I am, standing beside the spring, and the daughters of the townspeople are coming out to draw water.
၁၃အကျွန်ုပ်သည်၊ ဤရေတွင်းနားမှာ ရပ်နေ၍၊ ထိုမြို့သူသတို့ သမီးတို့သည်၊ ရေခပ်ခြင်းငှါလာကြသည် တွင်၊
14 Now may it happen that the girl to whom I say, ‘Please let down your jar that I may drink,’ and who responds, ‘Drink, and I will water your camels as well’—let her be the one You have appointed for Your servant Isaac. By this I will know that You have shown kindness to my master.”
၁၄အကြင်သတို့သမီးကို၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သောက်ခြင်းငှါ သင်ရေဘူးကို ချပါဟုဆိုသော်၊ သောက်ပါ၊ သင်၏ကုလား အုပ်တို့ကိုလည်း ရေတိုက်ပါမည်ဟု၊ ပြန်ဆိုသော သမီး သည်၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ကျွန်ဣဇာက်ဘို့ ခန့်ထားတော် မူသောသူဖြစ်ပါစေသော။ ထိုသို့အားဖြင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ သခင်၌ ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူကြောင်းကို၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သိရပါ မည်ဟု လျှောက်ဆို၏။
15 Before the servant had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor.
၁၅ထိုသို့လျှောက်ဆို၍မပြီးမှ၊ အာဗြဟံအစ်ကိုနား ခေါ်မယား မိလခါသား၊ ဗေသွေလ၏သမီး ရေဗက္ကသည်၊ ရေဘူးကိုထမ်းလျက် ထွက်လာသည်ကိုမြင်၏။
16 Now the girl was very beautiful, a virgin who had not had relations with any man. She went down to the spring, filled her jar, and came up again.
၁၆ထိုသတို့သမီးသည်၊ အလွန်အဆင်းလှ၍၊ ယောက်ျားနှင့် မဆက်ဆံသေးသော ကညာဖြစ်၏။ ရေတွင်းသို့ဆင်း၍၊ ရေဘူးကို ရေနှင့်ဖြည့်ပြီးမှ တက်လာ ၏။
17 So the servant ran to meet her and said, “Please let me have a little water from your jar.”
၁၇ကျွန်သည်လည်း၊ ထိုမိန်းမနှင့်တွေ့ခြင်းငှါပြေး၍၊ သင်၏ရေဘူး၌ ရေအနည်းငယ်ကို သောက်ပါရစေဟု ဆိုလေသော်၊
18 “Drink, my lord,” she replied, and she quickly lowered her jar to her hands and gave him a drink.
၁၈မိန်းမက၊ သောက်ပါလောအရှင်ဟုဆိုသဖြင့်၊ မိမိလက်ပေါ်မှာ၊ အလျင်အမြန်ရေဘူးကို ချ၍၊ ရေကို ပေးလေ၏။
19 After she had given him a drink, she said, “I will also draw water for your camels, until they have had enough to drink.”
၁၉ရေကိုပေးပြီးလျှင်၊ သင်၏ကုလားအုပ်တို့သည် လည်း၊ ဝစွာ သောက်စရာဘို့ရေခပ်ပါမည်ဟု ဆိုသည် အတိုင်း၊
20 And she quickly emptied her jar into the trough and ran back to the well to draw water, until she had drawn water for all his camels.
၂၀အလျင်အမြန်ဘူး၌ရှိသော ရေကိုရေတိုက်ခွက် ထဲ၌ လောင်းပြီးလျှင်၊ တဖန်ခပ်ခြင်းငှါ ရေတွင်းသို့ပြေး၍၊ ကုလားအုပ်အဘို့ ရေခပ်လေ၏။
21 Meanwhile, the man watched her silently to see whether or not the LORD had made his journey a success.
၂၁ယောက်ျားသည် ထိုမိန်းမကို အံ့ဩ၍၊ မိမိ ရောက်လာသော အမှုကို ထာဝရဘုရားပြုစုတော်မူသည်၊ မမူသည်ကို သိလို၍၊ တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာ နေလေ၏။
22 And after the camels had finished drinking, he took out a gold ring weighing a beka, and two gold bracelets for her wrists weighing ten shekels.
၂၂ကုလားအုပ်များကို ရေသောက်စေပြီးသော နောက်၊ ယောက်ျားသည်၊ အချိန်ငါးမူးရှိသော ရွှေနှာဆွဲ၊ အကျပ်တဆယ်အချိန်ရှိသော ရွှေလက်ကောက်တရံကို ထုတ်၍၊
23 “Whose daughter are you?” he asked. “Please tell me, is there room in your father’s house for us to spend the night?”
၂၃သင်သည် အဘယ်သူ၏သမီးဖြစ်သနည်း။ ကျွန်ုပ်ကို ပြောပါ။ သင်၏အဘအိမ်၌ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တည်းခို စရာအရပ်ရှိသလောဟု မေးလေသော်၊
24 She replied, “I am the daughter of Bethuel, the son that Milcah bore to Nahor.”
၂၄မိန်းမက၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် နာခေါ်၏မယားမိလခါ ဘွားမြင်သော၊ ဗေသွေလ၏သမီးဖြစ်သည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊
25 Then she added, “We have plenty of straw and feed, as well as a place for you to spend the night.”
၂၅ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၌ မြက်ခြောက်များ၊ စားဘွယ်သောက် ဘွယ်များနှင့် တည်းခိုစရာအရပ်လည်း ရှိသည်ဟူ၍၎င်း ဆိုလေ၏။
26 Then the man bowed down and worshiped the LORD,
၂၆ထိုအခါယောက်ျားသည် ဦးညွှတ်ချ၍ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကိုကိုးကွယ်လျက်၊
27 saying, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who has not withheld His kindness and faithfulness from my master. As for me, the LORD has led me on the journey to the house of my master’s relatives.”
၂၇ကရုဏာ၊ သစ္စာတော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်သခင်မှ ရုပ်သိမ်းတော်မမူသော၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သခင်အာဗြဟံ၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိတော်မူစေ သတည်း။ လမ်းမှာ သွားလျက်ရှိသော အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၏ညီအစ်ကိုတို့အိမ်သို့ ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူပါသည်တကားဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
28 The girl ran and told her mother’s household about these things.
၂၈သတို့သမီးသည်လည်းပြေး၍ အမိ၏အိမ်၌ ဤအရာများကို ကြားပြောလေ၏။
29 Now Rebekah had a brother named Laban, and he rushed out to the man at the spring.
၂၉ရေဗက္က၌ လာဗန်အမည်ရှိသော မောင် တယောက်ရှိ၏။ လာဗန်သည် ယောက်ျားရှိရာ ရေတွင်း သို့ပြေး၏။
30 As soon as he saw the ring, and the bracelets on his sister’s wrists, and heard Rebekah’s words, “The man said this to me,” he went and found the man standing by the camels near the spring.
၃၀သူသည်နှာဆွဲကို၎င်း၊ နှမလက်၌ လက်ကောက် ကို၎င်း မြင်၍၊ ထိုယောက်ျားသည်ကျွန်ုပ်ကို ဤသို့ ပြောသည်ဟု၊ နှမရေဗက္ကဆိုသော စကားကို ကြားသော အခါ၊ ရေတွင်း၌ ကုလားအုပ်အနားမှာရပ်နေသော ယောက်ျားထံသို့ ရောက်သောအခါ၊
31 “Come, you who are blessed by the LORD,” said Laban. “Why are you standing out here? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels.”
၃၁ထာဝရဘုရားကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူသော သူ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်အိမ်သို့ ဝင်ပါလော့။ ပြင်၌အဘယ်ကြောင့် ရပ်နေ သနည်း။ အိမ်ကို၎င်း၊ ကုလားအုပ် များနေရာအရပ်ကို ၎င်း၊ ကျွန်ုပ်ပြင်ပါပြီဟုဆိုသဖြင့်၊
32 So the man came to the house, and the camels were unloaded. Straw and feed were brought to the camels, and water to wash his feet and the feet of his companions.
၃၂ယောက်ျားကိုအိမ်သို့သွင်း၍ ကုလားအုပ်တို့ တန်ဆာကို ချွတ်ပြီးမှ၊ သူတို့အားမြက်ခြောက်နှင့်စားစရာ ကို ပေး၏။ ယောက်ျားခြေ၊ လိုက်သော သူတို့ခြေဆေးဘို့ ရေကိုလည်းပေးလေ၏။
33 Then a meal was set before the man, but he said, “I will not eat until I have told you what I came to say.” So Laban said, “Please speak.”
၃၃သူ့ရှေ့မှာ စားစရာကို ထည့်သောအခါ၊ သူက၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်အမှုကိုမပြောမှီမစားလိုပါဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ ပြောပါဟုဆို၏။
34 “I am Abraham’s servant,” he replied.
၃၄ယောက်ျားကလည်း၊ ကျွန်ုပ်ကားအာဗြဟံ၏ ကျွန်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။
35 “The LORD has greatly blessed my master, and he has become rich. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, camels and donkeys.
၃၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်ကို အလွန် ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ သူသည်ကြီးမြတ်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လေပြီ။ သိုးစု၊ နွားစု၊ ရွှေ၊ ငွေ၊ ကျွန်ယောက်ျား၊ ကျွန်မိန်းမ၊ ကုလားအုပ်နှင့်မြည်းများတို့ကို ပေးတော်မူပြီ။
36 My master’s wife Sarah has borne him a son in her old age, and my master has given him everything he owns.
၃၆ကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၏မယားစာရာသည်၊ သခင် အသက်အိုသောအခါ၊ သူ့အားသားကို ဘွားမြင်သဖြင့်၊ ထိုသားအားဥစ္စာရှိသမျှကိုသခင်သည် အပ်ပေးပြီ။
37 My master made me swear an oath and said, ‘You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites in whose land I dwell,
၃၇ကျွန်ုပ်၏သခင်ကလည်း၊ သင်သည်ငါနေသော ခါနာန်အမျိုးသမီးတို့တွင်၊ ငါ့သားဘို့ မယားကို မရွေးဘဲ၊
38 but you shall go to my father’s house and to my kindred to take a wife for my son.’
၃၈ငါ့အဘ၏အိမ်၊ ငါ့အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့ထံသို့ သွား၍၊ ငါ့သားဘို့ မယားကို ယူရမည်ဟု အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ကျိန်ဆိုစေ၏။
39 Then I asked my master, ‘What if the woman will not come back with me?’
၃၉အကျွန်ုပ်ကလည်း၊ မိန်းမသည်မလိုက်လိုလျှင် အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟု သခင်ကိုမေးလေသော်၊
40 And he told me, ‘The LORD, before whom I have walked, will send His angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you may take a wife for my son from my kindred and from my father’s house.
၄၀သခင်က၊ အကြင်ထာဝရဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော် ၌ ငါသွားလာ၏၊ ထိုဘုရားသည် မိမိကောင်းကင်တမန် ကို သင်နှင့်အတူစေလွှတ်၍၊ သင်သွားသောအမှုကို ပြုစုတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ငါ့အမျိုးသားချင်း၊ ငါ့အဘ၏အိမ်ထဲ က ငါ့သားဘို့ မယားကိုယူရမည်။
41 And when you go to my kindred, if they refuse to give her to you, then you will be released from my oath.’
၄၁ငါ့အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့ထံသို့ရောက်သောအခါ၊ သင်သည် ငါပေးသော ကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းနှင့်ကင်းလွတ်စေ။ ထိုသူတို့သည်မိန်းမကိုမပေးသော်လည်း၊ သင်သည် ငါပေးသော ကျိန်ဆိုခြင်းနှင့်ကင်းလွတ်စေမည်ဟု ပြော၏။
42 So when I came to the spring today, I prayed: O LORD, God of my master Abraham, if only You would make my journey a success!
၄၂ကျွန်ုပ်သည်ယနေ့ရေတွင်းသို့ ရောက်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သခင် အာဗြဟံ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ရောက်လာသော အမှုကို ယခုပြုစုတော်မူလျှင်၊
43 Here I am, standing beside this spring. Now if a maiden comes out to draw water and I say to her, ‘Please let me drink a little water from your jar,’
၄၃အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ရေတွင်းနားမှာရပ်နေ၍၊ ရေခပ် ခြင်းငှါ လာသော အကြင်သမီးကညာကို၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သောက် ဘို့ သင်၏ရေဘူး၌ရေအနည်းငယ်ကို ပေးပါဟုတောင်း သော်၊
44 and she replies, ‘Drink, and I will draw water for your camels as well,’ may she be the woman the LORD has appointed for my master’s son.
၄၄သောက်ပါ။သင်၏ကုလားအုပ်တို့ဘို့လည်း ရေခပ်ပါမည်ဟု ပြန်ဆိုသောသမီးကညာသည်၊ ကိုယ် တော်ကျွန်၏သားဘို့၊ ခန့်ထားတော်မူသော မိန်းမဖြစ်ပါ စေသောဟု လျှောက်ဆို၏။
45 And before I had finished praying in my heart, there was Rebekah coming out with her jar on her shoulder, and she went down to the spring and drew water. So I said to her, ‘Please give me a drink.’
၄၅ထိုသို့စိတ်နှလုံး၌ လျှောက်ဆို၍မပြီးမှီ၊ ရေဗက္ကသည် ရေဘူးကို ထမ်းလျက်ထွက်လာသဖြင့်၊ ရေတွင်းသို့ ဆင်း၍ ရေခပ်သည်ကို ကျွန်ုပ်မြင်လျှင်၊ ရေသောက်ပါရ စေဟု သူ့ကိုတောင်းလေသော်၊
46 She quickly lowered her jar from her shoulder and said, ‘Drink, and I will water your camels as well.’ So I drank, and she also watered the camels.
၄၆သူသည်အလျင်အမြန်ပခုံးပေါ်က ရေဘူးကို ချလျက်၊ သောက်ပါလော့။ သင်၏ ကုလားအုပ်တို့ကို လည်း၊ ရေတိုက်ပါမည်ဟုဆိုသည်အတိုင်း၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သောက် ရ၏။ ကုလားအုပ်တို့ကိုလည်း ရေတိုက်လေ၏။
47 Then I asked her, ‘Whose daughter are you?’ She replied, ‘The daughter of Bethuel son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him.’ So I put the ring on her nose and the bracelets on her wrists.
၄၇ကျွန်ုပ်ကလည်း၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်သူ၏ သမီးဖြစ်သနည်းဟုမေးသော်၊ သူက၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် မိလခါ ဘွားမြင်သော နာခေါ်သားဗေသွေလ ၏သမီးဖြစ်သည် ဟုပြောဆို၏။ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် မိလခါဘွားမြင်သော နာခေါ် သားဗေသွေလ၏သမီးဖြစ်သည်ဟုပြောဆို၏။ ကျွန်ုပ် သည်လည်း၊ သူ၏ မျက်နှာ၌နှာဆွဲကို၎င်း၊ သူ၏လက်၌ လက်ကောက်တို့ကို၎င်းထည့်ပြီးလျှင်၊
48 Then I bowed down and worshiped the LORD; and I blessed the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who led me on the right road to take the granddaughter of my master’s brother for his son.
၄၈ဦးညွှတ်ချ၍၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သခင်အစ်ကို၏ မြေးကို သခင်၏သားဘို့ ယူစေခြင်းငှါ၊ မှန်သောလမ်းဖြင့် ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူသော ကျွန်ုပ်သခင် အာဗြဟံ၏ ဘုရား သခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကောင်းကြီးပေး၍ ကိုးကွယ် လေ၏။
49 Now if you will show kindness and faithfulness to my master, tell me; but if not, let me know, so that I may go elsewhere.”
၄၉ယခုတွင်သင်တို့သည်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သခင်၌ သစ္စာနှင့် ကျေးဇူးပြုမည်၊ မပြုမည်ကိုပြောပါ။ ကျွန်ုပ်သည်လည်း၊ လက်ျာလမ်းဖြစ်စေ၊ လက်ဝဲလမ်းဖြစ်စေ၊ တလမ်းလမ်းသို့ လိုက်သွားပါမည်ဟု ပြောဆို၏။
50 Laban and Bethuel answered, “This is from the LORD; we have no choice in the matter.
၅၀လာဗန်နှင့်ဗေသွေလတို့ကလည်း၊ ဤအမှုသည် ထာဝရဘုရား စီရင်တော်မူသောအမှုဖြစ်၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ သည်၊ သင့်အား ကောင်းမကောင်းကို မပြောနိုင်ပါ။
51 Rebekah is here before you. Take her and go, and let her become the wife of your master’s son, just as the LORD has decreed.”
၅၁ရေဗက္ကသည် သင့်ရှေ့၌ရှိပါ၏။ ယူသွားပါ လော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ သင်၏ သခင်သား၏ မယားဖြစ်စေဟုပြန်ဆို၏။
52 When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed down to the ground before the LORD.
၅၂ထိုစကားကိုကြားလျှင်၊ အာဗြဟံကျွန်သည် ဦးညွှတ်ချ၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကိုးကွယ်ပြီးမှ၊
53 Then he brought out jewels of silver and gold, and articles of clothing, and he gave them to Rebekah. He also gave precious gifts to her brother and her mother.
၅၃ငွေဖလား၊ ရွှေဖလား၊ အဝတ်တန်ဆာများကို ထုတ်၍ ရေဗက္ကအားပေး၏။ သူ၏အမိ၊ မောင်အားလည်း၊ အဘိုးထိုက်သော လက်ဆောင်ကိုပေး၏။
54 Then he and the men with him ate and drank and spent the night there. When they got up the next morning, he said, “Send me on my way to my master.”
၅၄သူနှင့်သူ၏အဘော်အပေါင်းတို့သည်၊ စား သောက်၍ ညဉ့်ကို လွန်စေပြီးမှ၊ နံနက်ယံ၌ထလျက်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်သည်၊ သခင်ထံသို့ပြန်ပါရစေဟု ဆိုလေသော်၊
55 But her brother and mother said, “Let the girl remain with us ten days or so. After that, she may go.”
၅၅မောင်နှင့်အမိက၊ မိန်းမကလေးသည်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ထံမှာ၊ ဆယ်ရက်ခန့်လောက်နေပါစေဦး။ နောက်မှ၊ သူ့ကိုသွားပါစေမည်ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။
56 But he replied, “Do not delay me, since the LORD has made my journey a success. Send me on my way so that I may go to my master.”
၅၆ထိုသူကလည်း၊ ကျွန်ုပ်ကို မဆီးတားပါနှင့်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်၊ ကျွန်ုပ်ရောက်လာသောအမှုကို ပြုစုတော်မူပြီ။ ကျွန်ုပ်သည် သခင်ထံသို့ သွားရသော အခွင့်ကို ပေးပါလော့ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊
57 So they said, “We will call the girl and ask her opinion.”
၅၇သူတို့က၊ မိန်းကလေးကိုခေါ်၍၊ သူ့အလိုကို မေးပါဦးမည်ဟု ဆိုသည်နှင့်၊
58 They called Rebekah and asked her, “Will you go with this man?” “I will go,” she replied.
၅၈ရေဗက္ကကိုခေါ်၍ သင်သည်ဤလူနှင့်အတူ ယခုလိုက်မည်လောဟု မေးသောအခါ၊ ကျွန်ုပ်လိုက်ပါမည် ဟုဆို၏။
59 So they sent their sister Rebekah on her way, along with her nurse and Abraham’s servant and his men.
၅၉သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ မိမိနှမရေဗက္ကနှင့် သူ၏အထိန်းကို၎င်း၊ အာဗြဟံကျွန်နှင့် သူ၏လူတို့ကို၎င်း လွှတ်လိုက် ကြ၏။
60 And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, “Our sister, may you become the mother of thousands upon thousands. May your offspring possess the gates of their enemies.”
၆၀ရေဗက္ကကိုလည်း၊ သင်သည် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏နှမ ဖြစ်၏။ အသောင်းအသိန်းတို့၏အမိဖြစ်ပစေသော။ သင်၏အမျိုးအနွယ်သည် ရန်သူတို့၏ တံခါးများကို အစိုးရပါစေသောဟု ကောင်းကြီးပေးကြ၏။
61 Then Rebekah and her servant girls got ready, mounted the camels, and followed the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left.
၆၁ရေဗက္ကနှင့်သူ၏မိန်းမငယ်တို့သည်ထ၍၊ ကုလားအုပ်ကိုစီးလျက်၊ ထိုယောက်ျားနှင့်အတူ လိုက်ကြ ၏။ ထိုသို့ အာဗြဟံကျွန်သည် ရေဗက္ကကို ဆောင်သူ သွားလေ၏။
62 Now Isaac had just returned from Beer-lahai-roi, for he was living in the Negev.
၆၂ထိုအခါ တောင်ပြည်အတွင်း၌ နေသော ဣဇာက်သည်၊ ဗေရလဟဲရောလမ်းဖြင့် ရောက်လာသည် ဖြစ်၍၊
63 Early in the evening, Isaac went out to the field to meditate, and looking up, he saw the camels approaching.
၆၃ညဦးအချိန်၌ ဆင်ခြင်လိုသောငှါ၊ တောအရပ် သို့ထွက်သွား၍၊ မြော်ကြည့်လျှင်၊ ကုလားအုပ်များ လာသည်ကို မြင်လေ၏။
64 And when Rebekah looked up and saw Isaac, she got down from her camel
၆၄ရေဗက္ကသည်လည်း၊ မြော်ကြည့်၍ ဣဇာက်ကို မြင်သောအခါ၊ ကုလားအုပ်အပေါ်မှဆင်းပြီးလျှင်၊
65 and asked the servant, “Who is that man in the field coming to meet us?” “It is my master,” the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself.
၆၅ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို ကြိုဆိုခြင်းငှါ၊ တော၌လာသော ထိုသူကား၊ အဘယ်သူနည်းဟု ကျွန်ကိုမေးလေသော်၊ ကျွန်က၊ ထိုသူသည် ကျွန်ုပ်သခင်ဖြစ်ပါ၏ဟု ပြောဆို သောစကားကိုကြားလျှင်၊ ရေဗက္ကသည် မျက်နှာဖုံးကို ယူ၍ ဖုံးလေ၏။
66 Then the servant told Isaac all that he had done.
၆၆ကျွန်သည်လည်း၊ မိမိပြုလေသမျှတို့ကို ဣဇာက် အား ကြားပြောပြီးမှ၊
67 And Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah and took Rebekah as his wife. And Isaac loved her and was comforted after his mother’s death.
၆၇ဣဇာက်သည် မိမိအမိစာရာ၏ တဲသို့ ရေဗက္က ကို ဆောင်ယူ၍ စုံဘက်လေ၏။ ရေဗက္ကကိုချစ်နှစ်မြို့ သဖြင့်၊ အမိသေသောအမှု၌ သက်သာခြင်းသို့ ရောက် လေ၏။
