< 1 Corinthians 3 >

1 And I, brethren, was not able to speak to you, as to spiritual men, but as to those who are carnal, as to babes in Christ.
Nange abooluganda ssaasobola kwogera nammwe ng’ab’omwoyo, naye nayogera nammwe ng’ab’omubiri era ng’abaana abawere mu Kristo.
2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you were not then able to bear it; indeed, not even now are you able;
Nabanywesa mata so si mmere enkalubo, kubanga mwali temunnagisobola. Naye era ne kaakano temunnagisobola,
3 for you are yet carnal. For, since envy and strife and divisions are among you, are you not carnal, and do you not walk as men?
kubanga mukyafugibwa mubiri. Naye obanga mukyalimu obuggya n’ennyombo, temufugibwa mubiri era temutambula ng’abalina empisa z’abantu obuntu?
4 For when one says, I am of Paul, and another, I of Apollos, are you not carnal?
Kubanga omuntu yenna bw’agamba nti, “Nze ndi wa Pawulo,” n’omulala nti, “Nze ndi wa Apolo,” olwo temuba ng’abantu obuntu?
5 Who, then, is Paul? and who is Apollos? Ministers by whom you have believed, even as the Lord gave to each one.
Kale Apolo ye ani? Ne Pawulo ye ani? Baweereza buweereza ababakkirizisa, nga Mukama bwe yawa buli omu.
6 I planted, Apollos watered: but God made to grow.
Nze nasiga, Apolo n’afukirira, kyokka Katonda ye yakuza.
7 So, neither he that plants nor he that waters is any thing: but God that makes to grow.
Kale bwe kityo oyo asiga n’oyo afukirira si be bakulu wabula Katonda akuza.
8 But he that plants and he that waters are one; and each one shall receive his own reward, according to his own labor.
Oyo asiga kaakano n’oyo afukirira bali bumu, era buli omu aliweebwa empeera ye okusinziira ku mulimu gw’aliba akoze.
9 For we are fellow-laborers for God: you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
Kubanga ffe tuli bakozi abakolera awamu ne Katonda, ate mmwe muli nnimiro ya Katonda, muli nnyumba ya Katonda.
10 According to the grace of God that is given to me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds on this. But let every one take heed how he builds on this.
Okusinziira ku kisa kya Katonda ekya mpeebwa, ng’omuzimbi ow’amagezi, nazimba omusingi, kaakano omulala aguzimbako. Naye buli aguzimbako yeegenderezenga bw’aguzimbako.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which, is Jesus Christ.
Kubanga tewali n’omu ayinza kuteekawo musingi mulala okuggyako ogwo ogwateekebwawo, ye Yesu Kristo.
12 If any man builds on this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble,
Naye Omuntu bw’aguzimbisaako ezaabu, effeeza, n’amayinja ag’omuwendo n’emiti, n’essubi, oba ebisasiro;
13 each man’s work shall be made manifest; for the day shall make it manifest, for it is revealed with fire: and the fire shall try each man’s work, what sort it is.
omulimu gwa buli omu gulirabibwa, kubanga omuliro guligwolesa ku lunaku olwo, era omuliro ogwo gwe gulyoreka omulimu gwa buli omu nga bwe guli.
14 If any man’s work abide, which he builds on this, he shall receive a reward;
Omuntu kye yazimba ku musingi ogwo bwe kirisigalawo, aliweebwa empeera.
15 if any man’s work be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved, yet so, as through fire.
Naye omulimu gw’omuntu yenna bwe gulyokebwa omuliro, alifiirwa, kyokka ye yennyini alirokolebwa, naye ng’ayita mu muliro.
16 Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
Temumanyi nti mmwe muli yeekaalu ya Katonda era nga Omwoyo wa Katonda abeera mu mmwe?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
Omuntu yenna azikiriza Yeekaalu ya Katonda, Katonda alizikiriza omuntu oyo; kubanga Yeekaalu ya Katonda ntukuvu, ye mmwe.
18 Let no one deceive himself: if any one among you is considered as wise in this age, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)
Omuntu yenna teyeerimbalimbanga; omuntu yenna bwe yeerowoozanga okuba omugezi mu mmwe mu mirembe gino afuukenga musirusiru alyoke abeere omugezi. (aiōn g165)
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written: He takes the wise in their own craftiness.
Kubanga amagezi ag’ensi eno, bwe busirusiru eri Katonda. Kubanga kyawandiikibwa nti, “Akwatira abagezi mu nkwe zaabwe.”
20 And again: The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
Era kyawandiikibwa nti, “Mukama amanyi ng’ebirowoozo by’abagezi temuli nsa.”
21 Therefore, let no one glory in men; for all things are yours,
Noolwekyo waleme kubaawo muntu n’omu yeenyumiririza mu bantu, kubanga byonna byammwe,
22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours:
oba Pawulo oba Apolo oba Keefa oba nsi, oba bulamu, oba kufa, oba bintu ebya kaakano, oba ebijja, byonna byammwe,
23 and you are Christ’s: and Christ is God’s.
nammwe muli ba Kristo, ne Kristo wa Katonda.
