Job 39
1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? [Or] canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?
೧ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಕೆಗಳು ಈಯುವ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀಯೋ? ಹರಿಣಗಳ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆಯಾ?
2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? Or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
೨ಅವು ಗರ್ಭವನ್ನು ಹೊರುವ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ಅವು ಈಯುವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡುವೆಯೋ?
3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young, They cast out their pains.
೩ಅವು ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದೊಡನೆಯೇ ತಮ್ಮ ವೇದನೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೊರೆದುಬಿಡುವವು.
4 Their young ones become strong, they grow up in the open field; They go forth, and return not again.
೪ಅವುಗಳ ಮರಿಗಳು ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ಅಗಲಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಾಯಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸೇರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? Or who hath loosed the bonds of the swift ass,
೫ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಯಾರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು? ಅದರ ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿದವರು ಯಾರು?
6 Whose home I have made the wilderness, And the salt land his dwelling-place?
೬ನಾನು ಅಡವಿಯನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನಷ್ಟೆ.
7 He scorneth the tumult of the city, Neither heareth he the shoutings of the driver.
೭ಅದು ಊರುಗದ್ದಲವನ್ನು ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಹೊಡೆಯುವವನ ಕೂಗಾಟವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, And he searcheth after every green thing.
೮ಅದರ ಕಾವಲು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳೇ. ಹಸಿರು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುವುದು.
9 Will the wild-ox be content to serve thee? Or will he abide by thy crib?
೯ಕಾಡುಕೋಣವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗೋದಲಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಂಗುವುದೋ?
10 Canst thou bind the wild-ox with his band in the furrow? Or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
೧೦ನೇಗಿಲ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಕಾಡುಕೋಣವನ್ನು ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟುವೆಯಾ? ಅದು ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಕುಂಟೆ ಎಳೆಯುವುದೋ?
11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? Or wilt thou leave to him thy labor?
೧೧ಬಲ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟು, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆಯೋ?
12 Wilt thou confide in him, that he will bring home thy seed, And gather [the grain] of thy threshing-floor?
೧೨ಅದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವುದೆಂದು ಭರವಸವಿಡುವೆಯಾ?
13 The wings of the ostrich wave proudly; [But] are they the pinions and plumage of love?
೧೩ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ಪಕ್ಷವು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಬಡಿದಾಡುವುದು, ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಭಾವವುಂಟೋ?
14 For she leaveth her eggs on the earth, And warmeth them in the dust,
೧೪ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಮೊಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು, ಧೂಳಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾವು ಕೊಡಿಸುವುದಲ್ಲವೇ.
15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, Or that the wild beast may trample them.
೧೫ಯಾರಾದರು ಕಾಲಿನಿಂದ ತುಳಿದಾರು, ಕಾಡುಮೃಗ ತುಳಿದೀತು ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
16 She dealeth hardly with her young ones, as if they were not hers: Though her labor be in vain, [she is] without fear;
೧೬ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನವುಗಳೆಂದೆಣಿಸದೆ ಬಾಧೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸುವುದು, ತನ್ನ ಹೆರಿಗೆ ನಿಷ್ಫಲವಾದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೂ ಚಿಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, Neither hath he imparted to her understanding.
೧೭ದೇವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ, ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದಾನಷ್ಟೆ!
18 What time she lifteth up herself on high, She scorneth the horse and his rider.
೧೮ಅದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಬಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ ನೀಳವಾಗಿ ಓಡುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಾದರೋ, ಕುದುರೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಸವಾರನನ್ನೂ ಹೀಯಾಳಿಸುವುದು.
19 Hast thou given the horse [his] might? Hast thou clothed his neck with the quivering mane?
೧೯ನೀನು ಕುದುರೆಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಅದರ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಗುಡುಗನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದವನು ನಿನಲ್ಲವೇ?
20 Hast thou made him to leap as a locust? The glory of his snorting is terrible.
೨೦ಅದು ಮಿಡತೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಕುಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿ ಹಾರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆಯಾ? ಅದರ ಕೆನೆತನದ ಪ್ರತಾಪವು ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿದೆ.
21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: He goeth out to meet the armed men.
೨೧ಅದು ತಗ್ಗಿನ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಕೆರೆದು ತನ್ನ ಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಗ್ಗಿ, ಸನ್ನದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಹೋಗುವುದು.
22 He mocketh at fear, and is not dismayed; Neither turneth he back from the sword.
೨೨ಅದು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದೆಗೆಯದೆ ಭಯವನ್ನು ತಾತ್ಸಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
23 The quiver rattleth against him, The flashing spear and the javelin.
೨೩ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯೂ, ಥಳಥಳಿಸುವ ಭರ್ಜಿಯೂ, ಈಟಿಯೂ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಣಜಣಿಸುವವು.
24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage; Neither believeth he that it is the voice of the trumpet.
೨೪ಅದು ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೂ, ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಓಡುವುದು.
25 As oft as the trumpet [soundeth] he saith, Aha! And he smelleth the battle afar off, The thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
೨೫ತುತ್ತೂರಿ ಊದಿದಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾ! ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಕಾಳಗ, ಆರ್ಭಟ, ಸೇನಾಪತಿಗಳ ಗರ್ಜನೆ, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಮೂಸಿನೋಡಿ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದು.
26 Is it by thy wisdom that the hawk soareth, [And] stretcheth her wings toward the south?
೨೬ಗಿಡಗವು ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಹಾರುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದಲೋ?
27 Is it at thy command that the eagle mounteth up, And maketh her nest on high?
೨೭ಹದ್ದು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾರಿ ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೂಡುಮಾಡುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಿಂದಲೋ?
28 On the cliff she dwelleth, and maketh her home, Upon the point of the cliff, and the stronghold.
೨೮ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂಡೆಯೇ ನಿವಾಸವು; ಅದು ಶಿಲಾಶಿಖರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ದುರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಂಗುವುದು.
29 From thence she spieth out the prey; Her eyes behold it afar off.
೨೯ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೇ ಬೇಟೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ; ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯುವುದು.
30 Her young ones also suck up blood: And where the slain are, there is she.
೩೦ಹೆಣಬಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ರಣಹದ್ದೂ ಅದರ ಮರಿಗಳೂ ಹೀರುತ್ತವೆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು;
