< Psalms 108 >

1 A Song. A Psalm by David. My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.
Oluyimba. Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Omutima gwange munywevu, Ayi Katonda; nnaayimbanga ne nkutendereza n’omwoyo gwange gwonna.
2 Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
Muzuukuke, mmwe entongooli n’ennanga ey’enkoba, nzija kuyimba okukeesa obudde.
3 I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.
Nnaakutenderezanga, Ayi Mukama, mu bantu bonna, nnaakuyimbiranga mu mawanga gonna.
4 For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Okwagala kwo kunene, kutumbiira okutuuka ku ggulu; n’obwesigwa bwo butuuka ku bire.
5 Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.
Ogulumizibwenga, Ayi Katonda, okuyisa eggulu; n’ekitiibwa kyo kibune ensi yonna.
6 That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
Tulokole otuyambe n’omukono gwo ogwa ddyo, abo booyagala banunulibwe.
7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
Katonda ayogedde ng’asinziira mu kifo kye ekitukuvu n’agamba nti, “Nga nzijudde essanyu, ndisala mu Sekemu, era n’Ekiwonvu kya Sukkosi ndikigabanyagabanyaamu.
8 Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter.
Ensi ya Gireyaadi yange, n’eya Manase nayo yange. Efulayimu mwe muli abalwanyi bange abazira; ate mu Yuda mwe munaavanga bakabaka.
9 Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”
Mowaabu be baweereza bange abawulize; ate Edomu be baddu bange; Abafirisuuti ndibaleekaanira mu ddoboozi ery’omwanguka ery’obuwanguzi.”
10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Ani anantuusa ku kibuga ekigumu ekinywevu? Ani anankulembera okunnyingiza mu Edomu?
11 Have not you rejected us, God? You do not go out, God, with our armies.
Si ggwe, ayi Katonda, atusudde, atakyatabaala n’amaggye gaffe?
12 Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
Tudduukirire nga tulwanyisa abalabe baffe, kubanga obuyambi bw’abantu temuli nsa.
13 Through God, we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our enemies.
Bwe tunaabeeranga ne Katonda tunaabanga bawanguzi; kubanga y’anaalinnyiriranga abalabe baffe wansi w’ebigere bye.
