Matthew 28
1 Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
੧ਜਦ ਸਬਤ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਬੀਤ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਸਵੇਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਮਗਦਲੀਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਕਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਆਈਆਂ।
2 Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky and came and rolled away the stone from the door and sat on it.
੨ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਆਇਆ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਅਕਾਸ਼ੋਂ ਉਤਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਪੱਥਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੇੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ।
3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
੩ਉਹ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਬਸਤਰ ਬਰਫ਼ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਸੀ।
4 For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men.
੪ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਰਖਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਬ ਉੱਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
5 The angel answered the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.
੫ਪਰ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਡਰੋ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਲੀਬ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਲੱਭਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ।
6 He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.
੬ਉਹ ਐਥੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੈ। ਆਓ ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
7 Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.”
੭ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗਲੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ। ਲਓ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
8 They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.
੮ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਬਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਚੱਲ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਦੌੜੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
9 As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
੯ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਸੁਖੀ ਰਹੋ! ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਫੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ।
10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me.”
੧੦ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਡਰੋ ਨਾ, ਜਾਓ, ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ ਜੋ ਗਲੀਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ।
11 Now while they were going, behold, some of the guards came into the city and told the chief priests all the things that had happened.
੧੧ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਪਹਿਰੇ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
12 When they were assembled with the elders and had taken counsel, they gave a large amount of silver to the soldiers,
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਜਨਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ
13 saying, “Say that his disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept.
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਆਖਣਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾ ਲੈ ਗਏ
14 If this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry.”
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਹਾਕਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ।
15 So they took the money and did as they were told. This saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continues until today.
੧੫ਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੁਪਏ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਖਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਿਤ ਹੈ।
16 But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had sent them.
੧੬ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਗਿਆਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਲੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
17 When they saw him, they bowed down to him; but some doubted.
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ, ਪਰ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਕੀਤਾ।
18 Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸਵਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
19 Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
੧੯ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਲੇ ਬਣਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦਿਓ।
20 teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the consummation of the age (aiōn g165)." Amen.
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਓ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਮੈਂ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ। (aiōn g165)
