Luke 18
1 He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,
੧ਫਿਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਾ ਹਾਰੋ।
2 saying, “There was a judge in a certain city who did not fear God and did not respect man.
੨ਕਿਸੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਕਮ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ।
3 A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’
੩ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈ ਦਿਹ।
4 He would not for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,
੪ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ ਪਰ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਚਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
5 yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”
੫ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਵਿਧਵਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਇਹ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰੇ।
6 The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.
੬ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਸੁਣੋ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਹਾਕਮ ਕੀ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
7 Will not God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?
੭ਫੇਰ ਭਲਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਨਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਰਾਤ-ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ ਕਰੇ?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
੮ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜਦ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਤਦ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ?।
9 He also spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others:
੯ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ, ਇਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.
੧੦ਕਿ ਦੋ ਆਦਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈਕਲ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ, ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ।
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
੧੧ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਨੇ ਖੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਦੂਸਰਿਆਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੁਟੇਰੇ, ਕੁਧਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਚਾਰੀ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਇਸ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹਾਂ!
12 I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’
੧੨ਮੈਂ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
13 But the tax collector, standing far away, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
੧੩ਪਰ ਉਸ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਦੂਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵੱਲ ਚੁੱਕੇ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਪਿੱਟਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ! ਮੈਂ ਪਾਪੀ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰ!
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
੧੪ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਚੂੰਗੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਗਿਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
15 They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
੧੫ਫਿਰ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖੇ ਪਰ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਿਆ।
16 Jesus summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
੧੬ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਛੋਟਿਆਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੈ।
17 Most certainly, I tell you, whoever does not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
੧੭ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਬੂਲ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਵੜੇਗਾ।
18 A certain ruler asked him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit consummate (aiōnios g166) life?"
੧੮ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ਉੱਤਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਵਾਂ? (aiōnios g166)
19 Jesus asked him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one: God.
੧੯ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਮ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਉੱਤਮ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਕੇਵਲ ਇੱਕੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ।
20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not give false testimony,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”
੨੦ਤੂੰ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਖੂਨ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਚੋਰੀ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਝੂਠੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਨਾ ਦੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰ।
21 He said, “I have observed all these things from my youth up.”
੨੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ।
22 When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”
੨੨ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਅਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੈ ਵੇਚ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਨ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਰ।
23 But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.
੨੩ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਧਨਵਾਨ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੀ।
24 Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!
੨੪ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਜੋ ਧਨਵਾਨ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਔਖਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ!
25 For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
੨੫ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸੂਈ ਦੇ ਨੱਕੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਊਠ ਦਾ ਵੜਨਾ, ਧਨਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੜਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸੌਖਾ ਹੈ।
26 Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”
੨੬ਤਾਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਕੌਣ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
27 But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
੨੭ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
28 Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”
੨੮ਤਦ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਵੇਖ, ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਰੇ ਹਾਂ।
29 He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,
੨੯ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਘਰ, ਪਤਨੀ, ਭਰਾਵਾਂ, ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਬਾਲ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ,
31 He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.
੩੧ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਵੇਖੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
32 For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.
੩੨ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਫੜਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਥੁੱਕਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
33 They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”
੩੩ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਰੜੇ ਮਾਰਨਗੇ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੀਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਫੇਰ ਜੀ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ।
34 They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they did not understand the things that were said.
੩੪ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਰਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ।
35 As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.
੩੫ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਯਰੀਹੋ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਭੀਖ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਸੀ।
36 Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.
੩੬ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭੀੜ ਲੰਘਦੀ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?
37 They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.
੩੭ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜੋ ਯਿਸੂ ਨਾਸਰੀ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
38 He cried out, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”
੩੮ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰੋ।
39 Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”
੩੯ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸਗੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਹੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰੋ!
40 Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,
੪੦ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਰੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ,
41 “What do you want me to do?” He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”
੪੧ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕਰਾਂ? ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖਣ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵਾਂ!
42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”
੪੨ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਸੁਜਾਖਾ ਹੋ ਜਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
43 Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.
੪੩ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
