John 3
1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
| و شخصی از فریسیان نیقودیموس نام ازروسای یهود بود. | ۱ |
2 He came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him.”
| او در شب نزد عیسی آمده، به وی گفت: «ای استاد می‌دانیم که تو معلم هستی که از جانب خدا آمده‌ای زیرا هیچ‌کس نمی تواند معجزاتی را که تو می‌نمایی بنماید، جزاینکه خدا با وی باشد.» | ۲ |
3 Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see God’s Kingdom.”
| عیسی در جواب اوگفت: «آمین آمین به تو می‌گویم اگر کسی از سر نومولود نشود، ملکوت خدا را نمی تواند دید.» | ۳ |
4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
| نیقودیموس بدو گفت: «چگونه ممکن است که انسانی که پیر شده باشد، مولود گردد؟ آیا می‌شودکه بار دیگر داخل شکم مادر گشته، مولود شود؟» | ۴ |
5 Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he cannot enter into God’s Kingdom.
| عیسی در جواب گفت: «آمین، آمین به تومی گویم اگر کسی از آب و روح مولود نگردد، ممکن نیست که داخل ملکوت خدا شود. | ۵ |
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
| آنچه از جسم مولود شد، جسم است و آنچه از روح مولود گشت روح است. | ۶ |
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’
| عجب مدار که به توگفتم باید شما از سر نو مولود گردید. | ۷ |
8 The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
| باد هرجاکه می‌خواهد می‌وزد و صدای آن را می‌شنوی لیکن نمی دانی از کجا می‌آید و به کجا می‌رود. همچنین است هر‌که از روح مولود گردد.» | ۸ |
9 Nicodemus answered him, “How can these things be?”
| نیقودیموس در جواب وی گفت: «چگونه ممکن است که چنین شود؟» | ۹ |
10 Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not understand these things?
| عیسی در جواب وی گفت: «آیا تو معلم اسرائیل هستی و این رانمی دانی؟ | ۱۰ |
11 Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know and testify of that which we have seen, and you do not receive our witness.
| آمین، آمین به تو می‌گویم آنچه می‌دانیم، می‌گوییم و به آنچه دیده‌ایم، شهادت می‌دهیم و شهادت ما را قبول نمی کنید. | ۱۱ |
12 If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
| چون شما را از امور زمینی سخن گفتم، باور نکردید. پس هرگاه به امور آسمانی با شما سخن رانم چگونه تصدیق خواهید نمود؟ | ۱۲ |
13 No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.
| و کسی به آسمان بالا نرفت مگر آن کس که از آسمان پایین آمد یعنی پسر انسان که در آسمان است. | ۱۳ |
14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
| وهمچنان‌که موسی مار را در بیابان بلند نمود، همچنین پسر انسان نیز باید بلند کرده شود، | ۱۴ |
| تاهر‌که به او ایمان آرد هلاک نگردد، بلکه حیات جاودانی یابد. (aiōnios g166) | ۱۵ |
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have consummate (aiōnios g166) life.
| زیرا خدا جهان را اینقدر محبت نمود که پسر یگانه خود را داد تا هر‌که بر او ایمان آورد هلاک نگردد بلکه حیات جاودانی یابد. (aiōnios g166) | ۱۶ |
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
| زیرا خدا پسر خود را در جهان نفرستاد تا برجهان داوری کند، بلکه تا به وسیله او جهان نجات یابد. | ۱۷ |
18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
| آنکه به او ایمان آرد، بر او حکم نشود؛ اما هر‌که ایمان نیاورد الان بر او حکم شده است، بجهت آنکه به اسم پسر یگانه خدا ایمان نیاورده. | ۱۸ |
19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil.
| و حکم این است که نور در جهان آمدو مردم ظلمت را بیشتر از نور دوست داشتند، ازآنجا که اعمال ایشان بد است. | ۱۹ |
20 For everyone who does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.
| زیرا هر‌که عمل بد می‌کند، روشنی را دشمن دارد و پیش روشنی نمی آید، مبادا اعمال او توبیخ شود. | ۲۰ |
21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.”
| و لیکن کسی‌که به راستی عمل می‌کند پیش روشنی می‌آید تا آنکه اعمال او هویدا گردد که در خداکرده شده است.» | ۲۱ |
22 After these things, Jesus came with his disciples into the land of Judea. He stayed there with them and baptized.
| و بعد از آن عیسی با شاگردان خود به زمین یهودیه آمد و با ایشان در آنجا به‌سر برده، تعمیدمی داد. | ۲۲ |
23 John also was baptizing in Enon near Salim, because there was much water there. They came and were baptized;
| و یحیی نیز در عینون، نزدیک سالیم تعمید می‌داد زیرا که در آنجا آب بسیار بود ومردم می‌آمدند و تعمید می‌گرفتند، | ۲۳ |
24 for John was not yet thrown into prison.
| چونکه یحیی هنوز در زندان حبس نشده بود. | ۲۴ |
25 Therefore a dispute arose on the part of John’s disciples with some Jews about purification.
| آنگاه در خصوص تطهیر، در میان شاگردان یحیی ویهودیان مباحثه شد. | ۲۵ |
26 They came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, he baptizes, and everyone is coming to him.”
| پس به نزد یحیی آمده، به او گفتند: «ای استاد، آن شخصی که با تو درآنطرف اردن بود و تو برای او شهادت دادی، اکنون او تعمید می‌دهد و همه نزد اومی آیند.» | ۲۶ |
27 John answered, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.
| یحیی در جواب گفت: «هیچ‌کس چیزی نمی تواند یافت، مگر آنکه از آسمان بدو داده شود. | ۲۷ |
28 You yourselves testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before him.’
| شما خود بر من شاهد هستید که گفتم من مسیح نیستم بلکه پیش روی او فرستاده شدم. | ۲۸ |
29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore my joy is made full.
| کسی‌که عروس دارد داماد است، اما دوست داماد که ایستاده آواز او را می‌شنود، از آواز دامادبسیار خشنود می‌گردد. پس این خوشی من کامل گردید. | ۲۹ |
30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
| می‌باید که او افزوده شود و من ناقص گردم. | ۳۰ |
31 “He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.
| او که از بالا می‌آید، بالای همه است وآنکه از زمین است زمینی است و از زمین تکلم می‌کند؛ اما او که از آسمان می‌آید، بالای همه است. | ۳۱ |
32 What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness.
| و آنچه را دید و شنید، به آن شهادت می‌دهد و هیچ‌کس شهادت او را قبول نمی کند. | ۳۲ |
33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.
| و کسی‌که شهادت اورا قبول کرد، مهر کرده است بر اینکه خدا راست است. | ۳۳ |
34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.
| زیرا آن کسی را که خدا فرستاد، به کلام خدا تکلم می‌نماید، چونکه خدا روح را به میزان عطا نمی کند. | ۳۴ |
35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.
| پدرپسر را محبت می‌نماید و همه‌چیز را بدست اوسپرده است. | ۳۵ |
