Acts 11
1 Now the apostles and the brothers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
ਇੱਥੰ ਭਿੰਨਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕਾ ਅਪੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲਨ੍ ਇਮਾਂ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਂ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਦੇਸ਼ਸ੍ਥਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਗਣਸ਼੍ਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
2 When Peter had come up to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision contended with him,
ਤਤਃ ਪਿਤਰੇ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ੍ਨਗਰੰ ਗਤਵਤਿ ਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦਿਨੋ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤੇਨ ਸਹ ਵਿਵਦਮਾਨਾ ਅਵਦਨ੍,
3 saying, “You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them!”
ਤ੍ਵਮ੍ ਅਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦਿਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਤੈਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਭੁਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍|
4 But Peter began, and explained to them in order, saying,
ਤਤਃ ਪਿਤਰ ਆਦਿਤਃ ਕ੍ਰਮਸ਼ਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਕਾਰ੍ੱਯਸ੍ਯ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵ੍ਰੁʼੱਤਾਨ੍ਤਮਾਖ੍ਯਾਤੁਮ੍ ਆਰਬ੍ਧਵਾਨ੍|
5 “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision: a certain container descending, like it was a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners. It came as far as me.
ਯਾਫੋਨਗਰ ਏਕਦਾਹੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਯਮਾਨੋ ਮੂਰ੍ੱਛਿਤਃ ਸਨ੍ ਦਰ੍ਸ਼ਨੇਨ ਚਤੁਰ੍ਸ਼਼ੁ ਕੋਣੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਲਮ੍ਬਨਮਾਨੰ ਵ੍ਰੁʼਹਦ੍ਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਮਿਵ ਪਾਤ੍ਰਮੇਕਮ੍ ਆਕਾਸ਼ਦਵਰੁਹ੍ਯ ਮੰਨਿਕਟਮ੍ ਆਗੱਛਦ੍ ਅਪਸ਼੍ਯਮ੍|
6 When I had looked intently at it, I considered, and saw the four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky.
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਤਦ੍ ਅਨਨ੍ਯਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਯਾ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਵਿਵਿਚ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਨਾਨਾਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਾਨ੍ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ੍ਯਵਨ੍ਯਪਸ਼ੂਨ੍ ਉਰੋਗਾਮਿਖੇਚਰਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍;
7 I also heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter, kill and eat!’
ਹੇ ਪਿਤਰ ਤ੍ਵਮੁੱਥਾਯ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਭੁੰਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਵ ਮਾਂ ਸਮ੍ਬੋਧ੍ਯ ਕਥਯਨ੍ਤੰ ਸ਼ਬ੍ਦਮੇਕੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਵਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ|
8 But I said, ‘Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.’
ਤਤੋਹੰ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਵਦੰ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਨੇੱਥੰ ਭਵਤੁ, ਯਤਃ ਕਿਞ੍ਚਨ ਨਿਸ਼਼ਿੱਧਮ੍ ਅਸ਼ੁਚਿ ਦ੍ਰਵ੍ਯੰ ਵਾ ਮਮ ਮੁਖਮਧ੍ਯੰ ਕਦਾਪਿ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਵਿਸ਼ਤ੍|
9 But a voice answered me the second time out of heaven, ‘What God has cleansed, do not you call unclean.’
ਅਪਰਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯਤ੍ ਸ਼ੁਚਿ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤੰਨਿਸ਼਼ਿੱਧੰ ਨ ਜਾਨੀਹਿ ਦ੍ਵਿ ਰ੍ਮਾਮ੍ਪ੍ਰਤੀਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਹਾਯਸੀਯਾ ਵਾਣੀ ਜਾਤਾ|
10 This was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven.
ਤ੍ਰਿਰਿੱਥੰ ਸਤਿ ਤਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਪੁਨਰਾਕਾਸ਼ਮ੍ ਆਕ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟੰ|
11 Behold, immediately three men stood before the house where I was, having been sent from Caesarea to me.
ਪਸ਼੍ਚਾਤ੍ ਕੈਸਰਿਯਾਨਗਰਾਤ੍ ਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਜਨਾ ਮੰਨਿਕਟੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਿਤਾ ਯਤ੍ਰ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ਨੇ ਸ੍ਥਿਤੋਹੰ ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਸਮਯੇ ਤਤ੍ਰੋਪਾਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਨ੍|
12 The Spirit told me to go with them without discriminating. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house.
ਤਦਾ ਨਿਃਸਨ੍ਦੇਹੰ ਤੈਃ ਸਾਰ੍ੱਧੰ ਯਾਤੁਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਾ ਮਾਮਾਦਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍; ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਮਯਾ ਸਹੈਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸ਼਼ਡ੍ਭ੍ਰਾਤ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼ੁ ਗਤੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਵਯੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਨੁਜਸ੍ਯ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਵਿਸ਼ਾਮ|
13 He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying to him, ‘Send to Joppa and get Simon, who is called Peter,
ਸੋਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਨਿਕਟੇ ਕਥਾਮੇਤਾਮ੍ ਅਕਥਯਤ੍ ਏਕਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਏਕਃ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੀਭੂਯ ਮਮ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਨ੍ ਮਾਮਿਤ੍ਯਾਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍, ਯਾਫੋਨਗਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਤ੍ਯ ਪਿਤਰਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਵਿਖ੍ਯਾਤੰ ਸ਼ਿਮੋਨਮ੍ ਆਹੂਯਯ;
14 who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.’
ਤਤਸ੍ਤਵ ਤ੍ਵਦੀਯਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਣਾਞ੍ਚ ਯੇਨ ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਤਤ੍ ਸ ਉਪਦੇਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ|
15 As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.
ਅਹੰ ਤਾਂ ਕਥਾਮੁੱਥਾਪ੍ਯ ਕਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਥਮਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਉਪਰਿ ਯਥਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਆਤ੍ਮਾਵਰੂਢਵਾਨ੍ ਤਥਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮਪ੍ਯੁਪਰਿ ਸਮਵਰੂਢਵਾਨ੍|
16 I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit.’
ਤੇਨ ਯੋਹਨ੍ ਜਲੇ ਮੱਜਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਇਤਿ ਸਤ੍ਯੰ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੂਯੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਿ ਮੱਜਿਤਾ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਥ, ਇਤਿ ਯਦ੍ਵਾਕ੍ਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਰੁਦਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਤ੍ ਤਦਾ ਮਯਾ ਸ੍ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਮ੍|
17 If then God gave to them the same gift as us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God?”
ਅਤਃ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਯਕਾਰਿਣੋ ਯੇ ਵਯਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਭ੍ਯਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਯਦ੍ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਤ੍ ਤੇਭ੍ਯੋ ਲੋਕੇਭ੍ਯੋਪਿ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਤਃ ਕੋਹੰ? ਕਿਮਹਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਵਾਰਯਿਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਮਿ?
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!”
ਕਥਾਮੇਤਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਵਾ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਨ੍ਤਾ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਗੁਣਾਨ੍ ਅਨੁਕੀਰ੍ੱਤ੍ਯ ਕਥਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ, ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਪਰਮਾਯੁਃਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਤਿਨਿਮਿੱਤਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋਨ੍ਯਦੇਸ਼ੀਯਲੋਕੇਭ੍ਯੋਪਿ ਮਨਃਪਰਿਵਰ੍ੱਤਨਰੂਪੰ ਦਾਨਮ੍ ਅਦਾਤ੍|
19 They therefore who were scattered abroad by the oppression that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews only.
ਸ੍ਤਿਫਾਨੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਉਪਦ੍ਰਵੇ ਘਟਿਤੇ ਯੇ ਵਿਕੀਰ੍ਣਾ ਅਭਵਨ੍ ਤੈ ਫੈਨੀਕੀਕੁਪ੍ਰਾਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਸੁ ਭ੍ਰਮਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਕੇਵਲਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਵਿਨਾ ਕਸ੍ਯਾਪ੍ਯਨ੍ਯਸ੍ਯ ਸਮੀਪ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਕਥਾਂ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਚਾਰਯਨ੍|
20 But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.
ਅਪਰੰ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਕੁਪ੍ਰੀਯਾਃ ਕੁਰੀਨੀਯਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਕਿਯਨ੍ਤੋ ਜਨਾ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰੰ ਗਤ੍ਵਾ ਯੂਨਾਨੀਯਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਸਮੀਪੇਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਕਥਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਚਾਰਯਨ੍|
21 The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
ਪ੍ਰਭੋਃ ਕਰਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਹਾਯ ਆਸੀਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਅਨੇਕੇ ਲੋਕਾ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਭੁੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪਰਾਵਰ੍ੱਤਨ੍ਤ|
22 The report concerning them came to the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem. They sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch,
ਇਤਿ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਯਾਂ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮਸ੍ਥਮਣ੍ਡਲੀਯਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਕਰ੍ਣਗੋਚਰੀਭੂਤਾਯਾਮ੍ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰੰ ਗਨ੍ਤੁ ਤੇ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੈਰਯਨ੍|
23 who, when he had come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad. He exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they should remain near to the Lord.
ਤਤੋ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਰ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਿਤਃ ਸਨ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯਾਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਸ੍ਯ ਫਲੰ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਵਾ ਸਾਨਨ੍ਦੋ ਜਾਤਃ,
24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and many people were added to the Lord.
ਸ ਸ੍ਵਯੰ ਸਾਧੁ ਰ੍ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸੇਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੇਣਾਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਚ ਪਰਿਪੂਰ੍ਣਃ ਸਨ੍ ਗਨੋਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਸ੍ਥਾਂ ਕਰ੍ੱਤੁੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਨ੍ ਉਪਦਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਵਾਨ੍ ਤੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੋਃ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਅਨੇਕੇ ਬਭੂਵੁਃ|
25 Barnabas went out to Tarsus to look for Saul.
ਸ਼ੇਸ਼਼ੇ ਸ਼ੌਲੰ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਗਯਿਤੁੰ ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਸ੍ਤਾਰ੍ਸ਼਼ਨਗਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਸ੍ਥਿਤਵਾਨ੍| ਤਤ੍ਰ ਤਸ੍ਯੋੱਦੇਸ਼ੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯ ਤਮ੍ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰਮ੍ ਆਨਯਤ੍;
26 When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
ਤਤਸ੍ਤੌ ਮਣ੍ਡਲੀਸ੍ਥਲੋਕੈਃ ਸਭਾਂ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਸੰਵਤ੍ਸਰਮੇਕੰ ਯਾਵਦ੍ ਬਹੁਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਉਪਾਦਿਸ਼ਤਾਂ; ਤਸ੍ਮਿਨ੍ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰੇ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾਃ ਪ੍ਰਥਮੰ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੀਯਨਾਮ੍ਨਾ ਵਿਖ੍ਯਾਤਾ ਅਭਵਨ੍|
27 Now in these days, prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਦਿਗਣੇ ਯਿਰੂਸ਼ਾਲਮ ਆਨ੍ਤਿਯਖਿਯਾਨਗਰਮ੍ ਆਗਤੇ ਸਤਿ
28 One of them named Agabus stood up and indicated by the Spirit that there should be a great famine all over the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius.
ਆਗਾਬਨਾਮਾ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮੇਕ ਉੱਥਾਯ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਃ ਸ਼ਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਯਾ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਦੇਸ਼ੇ ਦੁਰ੍ਭਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤਿ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍; ਤਤਃ ਕ੍ਲੌਦਿਯਕੈਸਰਸ੍ਯਾਧਿਕਾਰੇ ਸਤਿ ਤਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮ੍ ਅਭਵਤ੍|
29 As any of the disciples had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea;
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸ਼ਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਏਕੈਕਸ਼ਃ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਵਸ਼ਕ੍ਤ੍ਯਨੁਸਾਰਤੋ ਯਿਹੂਦੀਯਦੇਸ਼ਨਿਵਾਸਿਨਾਂ ਭ੍ਰਤ੍ਰੁʼਣਾਂ ਦਿਨਯਾਪਨਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਧਨੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਯਿਤੁੰ ਨਿਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ਯ
30 which they also did, sending it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
ਬਰ੍ਣੱਬਾਸ਼ੌਲਯੋ ਰ੍ਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਸਮੀਪੰ ਤਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼਼ਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
