2 Peter 2
1 But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
౧గతంలో కూడా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల్లో అబద్ధ ప్రవక్తలు ఉండేవారు. అదే విధంగా మీ మధ్య కూడా అబద్ధ బోధకులు లేస్తారు. వారు నాశనకరమైన విరుద్ధ సిద్ధాంతాలను రహస్యంగా ప్రవేశపెడుతూ, తమ కోసం వెల చెల్లించిన ప్రభువును కూడా నిరాకరిస్తారు. దాని ద్వారా తమ మీదికి తామే త్వరగా నాశనం తెచ్చుకుంటారు.
2 Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.
౨అనేక మంది వారి విచ్చలవిడితనాన్ని అనుకరిస్తారు. అందువల్ల సత్యమార్గానికి అపకీర్తి కలుగుతుంది.
3 In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old does not linger, and their destruction will not slumber.
౩ఈ అబద్ధ బోధకులు అత్యాశతో, కట్టు కథలతో తమ స్వలాభం కోసం మిమ్మల్ని వాడుకుంటారు. వారికి విధించిన శిక్ష పూర్వకాలం నుండి వారికోసం సిద్ధంగా ఉంది. వారి నాశనం నిద్రపోదు.
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus (Tartaroō g5020), and committed them to pits of darkness to be reserved for judgment;
౪పూర్వం పాపం చేసిన దేవదూతలను కూడా విడిచిపెట్టకుండా దేవుడు వారిని సంకెళ్లకు అప్పగించి దట్టమైన చీకటిలో తీర్పు వరకూ ఉంచాడు. (Tartaroō g5020)
5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly,
౫అలాగే దేవుడు పూర్వకాలపు లోకాన్ని కూడా విడిచిపెట్టకుండా, నీతిని ప్రకటించిన నోవహును, మిగతా ఏడుగురిని కాపాడి, దైవభక్తి లేని ప్రజల మీదికి జల ప్రళయం రప్పించాడు.
6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, having made them an example to those who would live in an ungodly way,
౬దైవభక్తి లేని ప్రజలకు కలిగే వినాశనానికి ఉదాహరణగా దేవుడు సొదొమ, గొమొర్రా పట్టణాలపై తీర్పు విధించి వాటిని బూడిదగా మార్చాడు.
7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was very distressed by the lustful life of the wicked
౭దైవభయం లేని దుర్మార్గుల లైంగిక వికార ప్రవర్తన చేత మనస్తాపానికి గురైన నీతిపరుడైన లోతును రక్షించాడు.
8 (for that righteous man dwelling among them was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds),
౮దినదినం ఆ దుర్మార్గుల మధ్య ఉంటూ, వారు చేసే అక్రమమైన పనులు చూస్తూ, వింటూ, నీతిగల అతని మనసు దుఃఖిస్తూ ఉండేది.
9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
౯ఆ విధంగా, దైవభక్తి ఉన్నవారిని పరీక్షల నుండి ఎలా కాపాడాలో ప్రభువుకు తెలుసు, తీర్పు రోజున శిక్ష పొందేవరకూ దుర్మార్గులను ఎలా నిర్బంధించి ఉంచాలో కూడా ప్రభువుకు తెలుసు.
10 but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
౧౦ముఖ్యంగా ప్రభుత్వాన్ని తోసిపుచ్చుతూ, అపవిత్రమైన శరీర ఆశలను తీర్చుకుంటూ, తెగువతో, అహంకారంతో, పరలోక సంబంధులను దూషించడానికి భయపడని వారి విషయంలో ఇది నిజం.
11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.
౧౧దేవదూతలు వారికంటే ఎంతో గొప్ప బలం, శక్తి కలిగి ఉండి కూడా ప్రభువు ముందు వారిని దూషించి వారి మీద నేరం మోపడానికి భయపడతారు.
12 But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,
౧౨పశుప్రవృత్తి గల ఈ మనుషులైతే తమకు తెలియని సంగతులను గురించి దూషిస్తారు. వారు బంధకాలకు, నాశనానికి తగినవారు. వారు తమ దుర్మార్గత వల్ల పూర్తిగా నశించిపోతారు.
13 receiving the wages of unrighteousness; people who count it pleasure to revel in the daytime, spots and defects, reveling in their deceit while they feast with you;
౧౩వారి చెడుతనానికి ప్రతిఫలంగా వారికి హాని కలుగుతుంది. వారు పట్టపగలు సుఖభోగాల్లో ఉంటారు. మచ్చలుగా, కళంకాలుగా ఉంటారు. వారు, మీతో కూడా విందుల్లో పాల్గొంటూనే తమ భోగాల్లో సుఖిస్తూ ఉంటారు.
14 having eyes full of adultery, and who cannot cease from sin, enticing unsettled souls, having a heart trained in greed, accursed children!
౧౪వారి కళ్ళు వ్యభిచారపు చూపులతో నిండి ఉండి, ఎడతెగక పాపం చేస్తూ ఉంటారు. వారు, నిలకడ లేని వారిని తప్పుదారి పట్టడానికి ప్రేరేపిస్తారు. వారి హృదయాలు ఎప్పుడూ పేరాశతో సిద్ధంగా ఉంటాయి. వారు శాపానికి గురైన ప్రజలు.
15 Forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of wrongdoing;
౧౫వారు, అవినీతి సంబంధమైన జీతం కోసం ఆశపడిన బెయోరు కుమారుడు బిలామును అనుసరించి తప్పిపోయారు. సక్రమ మార్గాన్ని వదిలిపెట్టారు.
16 but he was rebuked for his own disobedience. A speechless donkey spoke with a man’s voice and stopped the madness of the prophet.
౧౬కాని, బిలాము చేసిన అతిక్రమానికి మాటలు రాని గాడిద మానవ స్వరంతో మాటలాడడం ద్వారా అతన్ని గద్దించి, ఆ ప్రవక్త వెర్రితనాన్ని అడ్డగించింది.
17 These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved.
౧౭ఈ మనుషులు నీళ్ళులేని బావులు. బలమైన గాలికి కొట్టుకుపోయే పొగమంచు వంటి వారు. గాడాంధకారం వీరి కోసం సిద్ధంగా ఉంది. (questioned)
18 For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;
౧౮వారు పనికిమాలిన గొప్పలు మాట్లాడుతూ ఉంటారు. వారు చెడు మార్గంలో నుండి అప్పుడే తప్పించుకున్న వారిని తమ శరీర సంబంధమైన చెడు కోరికలతో వెనుదిరిగేలా ప్రేరేపిస్తారు.
19 promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.
౧౯వారే స్వయంగా దుర్నీతికి బానిసలై ఉండి, ఇతరులకు స్వేచ్ఛ కలిగిస్తామని వాగ్దానం చేస్తారు. ఒక వ్యక్తిని ఏది జయిస్తుందో దానికి అతడు బానిస అవుతాడు.
20 For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
౨౦ఎవరైనా ప్రభువు, రక్షకుడు అయిన యేసు క్రీస్తు విషయంలో అనుభవజ్ఞానం వల్ల ఈ లోకపు అపవిత్రతను తప్పించుకొన్న తరువాత దానిలో మళ్లీ ఇరుక్కుని దాని వశమైతే, వారి మొదటి స్థితి కన్నా చివరి స్థితి మరింత అధ్వాన్నంగా ఉంటుంది.
21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
౨౧వారు, నీతి మార్గాన్ని తెలుసుకున్న తరువాత తమకు అందిన పవిత్ర ఆజ్ఞ నుండి తప్పిపోవడం కన్నా అసలు ఆ మార్గం వారికి తెలియకుండా ఉండడమే మేలు.
22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, “The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”
౨౨“కుక్క తాను కక్కిన దాన్ని తిన్నట్టుగా, కడిగిన తరువాత పంది బురదలో పొర్లడానికి తిరిగి వెళ్ళినట్టుగా” అని చెప్పిన సామెతలు వీళ్ళ విషయంలో నిజం.
