< 1 John 3 >

1 See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world does not know us, because it did not know him.
Sabi Isor pora kineka morom amikhan ke dise, eneka pora amikhan Isor laga bacha ase kobole nimite, aru hosa pora bhi amikhan to Tai laga bacha khan ase. Etu karone, prithibi pora amikhan ke najane, kelemane taikhan Isor ke najane.
2 Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is.
Morom laga bhai khan, amikhan etiya Isor laga bacha khan ase aru amikhan ki hobo etu etiya bhi dikhai diya nai. Amikhan jane jitia Khrista ahibo, amikhan Tai nisena hoi jabo, kelemane Tai kineka ase etu nisena amikhan Taike dikhibo.
3 Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
Kun manu Khrista uporte asha rakhe, Khrista sapha thaka nisena, etu manu khan bhi nijorke sapha kori loi.
4 Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness.
Kun paap kaam khan kori ase tai niyom khan mani kene thaka manu nohoi, kelemane paap te niyom nai.
5 You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and no sin is in him.
Tumikhan jane Khrista ke dikhai diya to paapkhan hatai dibole nimite hoise, aru Tai logote eku paap nai.
6 Whoever remains in him does not sin. Whoever sins has not seen him and does not know him.
7 Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Kun manu paap kaam khan kore tai saitan laga ase, kelemane saitan bhi shuru pora paap kaam kori kene ahise. Etu nimite Isor laga Putro ke dikhai dise, aru Tai pora saitan laga kaam khan khotom kori dibole.
9 Whoever is born of God does not commit sin, because his seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who does not love his brother.
Etu pora Isor laga bacha khan aru saitan laga bacha khan ke dikhai diye: Kun manu dharmik kaam nakore tai Isor laga nohoi, aru kun manu tai nijor laga bhai ke morom nakore tai bhi Isor laga nohoi.
11 For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another—
Kelemane tumikhan shuru pora etu kotha huni kene ahise, amikhan ekjon-ekjon ke morom kori bole lage.
12 unlike Cain, who was of the evil one and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s righteous.
Amikhan Cain nisena nohobole lage, kun biya ekjon pora ahise aru nijor bhai ke morai dise. Ki nimite taike morai dise? Kelemane tai laga kaam khan paap laga kaam khan thakise aru tai laga bhai Abel laga kaam khan dharmik kaam khan thakise.
13 Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.
Tumikhan asurit nalagibi, ami laga bhai khan, jodi tumike etu duniya pora ghin kore.
14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother remains in death.
Amikhan mora pora ulaikene jibon paise, kelemane moi khan bhai ke morom kore.
15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has consummate (aiōnios g166) life remaining in him.
16 By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
Etu pora amikhan morom to jane, kelemane Khrista amikhan nimite Tai laga jibon dise. Amikhan bhi nijor laga bhai khan nimite jibon dibole lage.
17 But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
Kintu kun manu logote duniya laga sob saman ase, aru tai laga bhai dukh te thaka dikhile bhi, bhai nimite tai laga mon bondh kori kene rakhe, titia hoile tai logote Isor laga morom kote ase?
18 My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.
Ami laga morom bacha khan, amikhan khali kotha aru mukh pora morom nokorile, kintu kaam aru hosa pora morom koribo.
19 And by this we know that we are of the truth and persuade our hearts before him,
Etu pora amikhan jani loi amikhan hosa te ase, aru amikhan laga mon Isor usorte rakhi diye.
20 because if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
Jodi amikhan laga mon pora amikhan ke biya ase koi, Isor to amikhan laga mon pora bhi dangor ase, aru Tai sob jinis khan jani ase.
21 Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness toward God;
Morom laga bhai khan, jodi amikhan laga nijor mon pora amikhan ke bodnam nadiye, titia amikhan Isor uporte bharosa ase.
22 so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
Amikhan ki mange etu pai jabo, kelemane amikhan Tai laga kotha mani kene thake aru Tai ki khushi pai eitu khan kore.
23 This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded.
Etu Tai laga kotha khan ase: amikhan Tai laga Putro Jisu Khrista ke biswas koribo aru ekjon-ekjon ke morom koribo, Tai pora etu kotha amikhan ke diya nisena.
24 He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
Tai laga kotha mani kene thaka manu to Tai logot thake, aru Tai bhi taikhan logote ase. Tai amikhan logote ase koi kene jane Atma dwara jane, junke Tai pora amikhan nimite dise.
