< 1 Corinthians 2 >

1 When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.
Anu nejile kwimwe abhamula bhasu na bhayala bhasu, nitejile ku misango jokukongya kogya nobhwengeso lwakutyo nalasishe echimali chinu chiselekele ingulu ya Nyamuanga.
2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
Nalamuye okulema omenya chona chona anu aliga niliamwi nemwe tali Yesu Kristo, no mwene unu abhambilwe.
3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
Aliga nili amwi nemwe mubhulenga, na mubhubha, na mukuyalala muno.
4 My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
Nokwaika kwani no kusimula kwani kwaliga kutali kwo mukongya no bhwengeso. Tali, galiga gali gokumwolesha Omwoyo na gali na managa,
5 that your faith would not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
koleleki elikilisha lyemwe litaja kubha ku bhwengeso bhwo mwana munu, tali kumanaga ga Nyamuanga.
6 We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this age (aiōn g165) nor of the rulers of this age (aiōn g165) who are coming to nothing.
Woli echiloma obhwengeso amwi ya bhanu bhakulu, tali bhutali bhwengeso bhwe chalo chinu, amwi eya bhatangasha bho mwanya gunu, bhanu abhalabhao. (aiōn g165)
7 But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the ages (aiōn g165) for our glory,
Nawe, echiloma obhwengeso bhwa Nyamuanga muchimali chinu chibhisile, obhwengeso bhunu bhwiselekele inu Nyamuanga asolele kara mumwanya gwa likusho lyeswe. (aiōn g165)
8 which none of the rulers of this age (aiōn g165) has known. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Atalio wona wona mu bhatangasha bho mwanya gunu unu amenyaga obhwengeso bhunu, Bhakabhee nibhaimenya omwanya ogwo, bhatakamubhambile Latabhugenyi wa likusho. (aiōn g165)
9 But as it is written, “Things which an eye did not see, and an ear did not hear, which did not enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”
Nawe lwakutyo Jandikilwe, “Emisango jinu eliso litajilolele, jitonguhye na matwi, obhwiganilisha bhuteganilisishe, emisango jinu Nyamuanga elabhile ingulu ya bhanu abhamwenda omwene.”
10 But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Jinu ni misango jinu Nyamuanga ajisuluye kwiswe okulabha ku Mwoyo, Kulwokubha Omwoyo katatilisha bhuli chinu, nolo emisango ja munda ja Nyamuanga.
11 For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.
Kulwokubha niga unu kamenya obhwiganilisha bhwo munu, atali omwoyo gwo munu munda yae? Kulwejo kutyo, atalio unu kamenya emisango ja munda ya Nyamuanga, atali Omwoyo gwa Nyamuanga.
12 But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
Nawe chitalamiye omwoyo gwe chalo, nawe Omwoyo gunu gwasokele ku Nyamuanga, koleleki chimenye emisango jinu chiyanibhwe na Nyamuanga.
13 We also speak these things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
Echaika emisango jinu kwa magambo, ganu kwo bhwengeso bhwo munu bhutakutula kwiigisha. Omwoyo Mwelu kagajula amagambo go mwoyo kwo bhwengeso bhwo mwoyo.
14 Now the natural man does not receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Omunu unu atali wechinyamwoyo atakulamila amagambo go Mwoyo Mwelu wa Nyamuanga, kulwokubha ago kumwene ni bhumumu. Atakutula kugamenya kulwokubha agamenywa chinyamwoyo.
15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is to be judged by no one.
Ku wechinyamwoyo kalamula misango jona. Nawe kalamulwa na bhandi.
16 “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he should instruct him?” But we have Christ’s mind.
“Niga unu katula okumenya obhwiganilisha bhwa Latabhugenyi, unu katula okumwiigisha omwene?” Nawe chili no bhwiganilisha bhwa Kristo.
