Psalms 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Живый в помощи Вышняго, в крове Бога небеснаго водворится,
2 I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
речет Господеви: заступник мой еси и прибежище мое, Бог мой, и уповаю на Него.
3 For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
Яко Той избавит тя от сети ловчи и от словесе мятежна:
4 He will cover thee with his pinions, and under his wings shall thou take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler.
плещма Своима осенит тя, и под криле Его надеешися: оружием обыдет тя истина Его.
5 Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day,
Не убоишися от страха нощнаго, от стрелы летящия во дни,
6 for the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
от вещи во тме преходящия, от сряща и беса полуденнаго.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come near thee.
Падет от страны твоея тысяща, и тма одесную тебе, к тебе же не приближится:
8 Thou shall only behold with thine eyes, and see the reward of the wicked.
обаче очима твоима смотриши и воздаяние грешников узриши.
9 For thou, O Jehovah, are my refuge! Thou have made the Most High thy habitation.
Яко ты, Господи, упование мое: Вышняго положил еси прибежище твое.
10 There shall no evil befall thee, nor shall any plague come near thy tent,
Не приидет к тебе зло, и рана не приближится телеси твоему:
11 for he will give his agents charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
яко Ангелом Своим заповесть о тебе, сохранити тя во всех путех твоих.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
На руках возмут тя, да не когда преткнеши о камень ногу твою:
13 Thou shall tread upon the lion and adder. The young lion and the serpent thou shall trample under foot.
на аспида и василиска наступиши, и попереши льва и змия.
14 Because he has set his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high because he has known my name.
Яко на Мя упова, и избавлю и: покрыю и, яко позна имя Мое.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
Воззовет ко Мне, и услышу его: с ним есмь в скорби, изму его и прославлю его:
16 I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.
долготою дний исполню его и явлю ему спасение Мое.
