Psalms 119
1 Blessed are those who are perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah.
Selig die, deren Weg untadelig ist, die in dem Gesetz Jehovahs wandeln.
2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, that seek him with the whole heart.
Selig die, die Seine Zeugnisse bewahren, die Ihn von ganzem Herzen suchen.
3 Yea, they do no unrighteousness. They walk in his ways.
Auch tun sie nichts Verkehrtes. In Seinen Wegen wandeln sie.
4 Thou have commanded thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
Du hast geboten, Deine Ordnungen sehr zu halten.
5 O that my ways were established to observe thy statutes!
Möchten doch meine Wege dahin sich richten, daß ich hielte Deine Satzungen.
6 Then I shall not be put to shame when I have respect for all thy commandments.
Dann werde ich nicht beschämt, wenn ich auf alle Deine Gebote blicke.
7 I will give thanks to thee with uprightness of heart when I learn thy righteous judgments.
Ich bekenne Dich in Geradheit des Herzens, wenn ich lerne die Rechte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
8 I will observe thy statutes. O forsake me not utterly.
Deine Satzungen will ich halten; verlasse mich nicht zu sehr.
9 With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to thy word.
Wie wird ein Jüngling seinen Pfad lauter machen? Daß er sich halte nach Deinem Wort.
10 With my whole heart I have sought thee. O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Von ganzem Herzen suche ich nach Dir. Laß mich von Deinen Geboten nicht fehlgehen.
11 I have laid thy word up in my heart that I might not sin against thee.
In meinem Herzen verdecke ich Deine Rede, daß ich nicht wider Dich sündige.
12 Blessed are thou, O Jehovah. Teach me thy statutes.
Gesegnet bist Du, Jehovah, lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
13 With my lips I have declared all the ordinances of thy mouth.
Mit meinen Lippen habe ich alle die Rechte Deines Mundes erzählt.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies as much as in all riches.
Auf dem Weg Deiner Zeugnisse freue ich mich mehr, als über alle Güter.
15 I will meditate on thy precepts, and have respect for thy ways.
Ich überdenke Deine Ordnungen und blicke auf Deine Pfade.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes. I will not forget thy word.
An Deinen Satzungen ergötze ich mich, ich vergesse nicht Deines Wortes.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant that I may live, so I will observe thy word.
Tue wohl Deinem Knechte, daß ich lebe und halte Dein Wort.
18 Open thou my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Tue meine Augen auf, daß ich Wunder aus Deinem Gesetz erblicke.
19 I am a sojourner in the earth. Hide not thy commandments from me.
Ein Fremdling bin ich auf Erden, verbirg Deine Gebote nicht vor mir!
20 My soul breaks for the longing that it has to thine ordinances at all times.
Zerdrückt ist meine Seele vor Sehnsucht nach Deinen Rechten alle Zeit.
21 Thou have rebuked the proud, who are cursed, who wander from thy commandments.
Du bedrohst die verfluchten Vermessenen, die von Deinen Geboten fehlgehen.
22 Take away from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept thy testimonies.
Wälze von mir Schmach und Verachtung ab; denn Deine Zeugnisse habe ich bewahrt.
23 Rulers also sat and talked against me, but thy servant meditated on thy statutes.
Selbst Oberste sitzen und bereden sich wider mich; Dein Knecht überdenkt Deine Satzungen.
24 Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.
Deine Zeugnisse sind auch mein Ergötzen, die Männer meines Rates.
25 My soul clings to the dust. Enliven thou me according to thy word.
Am Staube klebt meine Seele, belebe mich nach Deinem Worte.
26 I declared my ways, and thou answered me. Teach me thy statutes.
Ich erzählte meine Wege, und Du antwortetest mir. Lehre Deine Satzungen.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts, so I shall meditate on thy wondrous works.
Laß mich den Weg Deiner Ordnungen einsehen, daß ich überdenke Deine Wunder,
28 My soul melts for heaviness. Strengthen thou me according to thy word.
Es verfließt vor Gram meine Seele, richte mich auf nach Deinem Worte.
29 Remove from me the way of falsehood, and grant me thy law graciously.
Den Weg der Lüge wende von mir ab, und mit Deinem Gesetz begnade mich!
30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness. I have set thine ordinances.
Den Weg der Wahrheit habe ich erwählt. Ich stelle vor mich Deine Rechte.
31 I cling to thy testimonies. O Jehovah, put me not to shame.
Ich hafte an Deinen Zeugnissen, Jehovah, lasse mich nicht beschämt werden.
32 I will run the way of thy commandments when thou shall enlarge my heart.
Den Weg Deiner Gebote will ich laufen, weil Du mein Herz erweiterst.
33 Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes, and I shall keep it to the end.
Weise mich, Jehovah, den Weg Deiner Satzungen, und ich will ihn stets bewahren.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law, yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Mache mich einsichtsvoll, und ich bewahre Dein Gesetz, und halte es von ganzem Herzen.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments, for therein do I delight.
Lasse mich einhertreten auf dem Steige Deiner Gebote, denn ich habe Lust dazu.
36 Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Neige mein Herz zu Deinen Zeugnissen, und nicht zum Gewinn.
37 Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity, and enliven me in thy ways.
Laß meine Augen vorübergehen, daß sie nicht auf Eitles sehen. Belebe mich auf Deinem Wege.
38 Confirm to thy servant thy word, which is for the fear of thee.
Bestätige Deinem Knecht Deine Rede, daß man Dich fürchte.
39 Turn away my reproach of which I am afraid, for thine ordinances are good.
Laß die Schmach an mir vorübergehen, vor der mir bangt; denn gut sind Deine Rechte.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts. Enliven me in thy righteousness.
Siehe, ich sehne mich nach Deinen Ordnungen, mit Deiner Gerechtigkeit belebe mich.
41 Let thy loving kindnesses also come to me, O Jehovah, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
Laß Deine Barmherzigkeit auf mich kommen, Jehovah, Dein Heil, nach Deiner Rede.
42 So I shall have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in thy word.
Und ich antworte ein Wort denen, die mich schmähen; denn auf Dein Wort vertraue ich.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I have hoped in thine ordinances.
Und entreiße meinem Mund nicht so sehr das Wort der Wahrheit; denn auf Deine Gerichte warte ich;
44 So shall I observe thy law continually forever and ever.
Und will beständig halten Dein Gesetz ewiglich und immerfort.
45 And I shall walk at liberty, for I have sought thy precepts.
Und will in der Weite wandeln, denn ich frage nach Deinen Ordnungen.
46 I also will speak of thy testimonies before kings, and shall not be put to shame.
Und will reden vor Königen von Deinen Zeugnissen, und nicht mich schämen,
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
Und mich ergötzen an Deinen Geboten, die ich liebe.
48 I will also lift up my hands to thy commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate on thy statutes.
Und will erheben meine Hände zu Deinen Geboten, die ich liebe, und überdenken Deine Satzungen.
49 Remember the word to thy servant, because thou have made me to hope.
Gedenke Deinem Knecht des Wortes, dessen Du mich ließest warten.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word has revived me.
Das ist mein Trost in meinem Elend, weil mich Deine Rede belebt hat.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision, yet I have not swerved from thy law.
Mich haben Vermessene gar sehr verspottet; von Deinem Gesetz wende ich mich nicht ab.
52 I have remembered thine ordinances of old, O Jehovah, and have comforted myself.
Ich gedenke Deiner Gerichte von Ewigkeit her, Jehovah, und bin getröstet.
53 Hot indignation has taken hold upon me because of the wicked who forsake thy law.
Ein Glutwind hat mich ergriffen wegen der Ungerechten, die Dein Gesetz verlassen.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
Psalmen waren mir Deine Satzungen im Hause meiner Wanderungen.
55 I have remembered thy name, O Jehovah, in the night, and have observed thy law.
Ich gedenke Deines Namens des Nachts, Jehovah, und halte Dein Gesetz.
56 This I have had because I have kept thy precepts.
Das ward mir, weil ich bewahrte Deine Ordnungen.
57 Jehovah is my portion; I have said that I would observe thy words.
Mein Teil, Jehovah, sprach ich, ist, daß ich Deine Worte halte.
58 I entreated thy favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to thy word.
Ich flehe an Dein Angesicht von ganzem Herzen: Sei gnädig mir nach Deiner Rede.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
Ich denke meiner Wege und kehre meinen Fuß zu Deinen Zeugnissen zurück.
60 I made haste, and delayed not, to observe thy commandments.
Ich spute mich und zaudere nicht, Deine Gebote zu halten.
61 The cords of the wicked have wrapped me around, but I have not forgotten thy law.
Der Ungerechten Stricke haben mich umstrickt, ich vergesse Deines Gesetzes nicht.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee because of thy righteous ordinances.
Ich stehe auf um Mitternacht, Dich zu bekennen, ob der Gerichte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
63 I am a companion of all those who fear thee, and of those who observe thy precepts.
Ich bin ein Gefährte aller, die Dich fürchten und Deine Ordnungen halten.
64 The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy loving kindness. Teach me thy statutes.
Jehovah, Deiner Barmherzigkeit ist die Erde voll, lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
65 Thou have dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according to thy word.
Du hast, Jehovah, Gutes an Deinem Knecht getan nach Deinem Wort.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I have believed in thy commandments.
Das Gut des Verstandes und der Kenntnis lehre mich; denn an Deine Gebote glaube ich.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I observe thy word.
Bevor ich ward gedemütigt, ging ich fehl, nun aber halte ich Deine Rede.
68 Thou are good, and do good. Teach me thy statutes.
Gut bist Du und tust Gutes, lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me. With my whole heart I will keep thy precepts.
Die Vermessenen dichten Lüge wider mich, ich bewahre Deine Ordnungen von ganzem Herzen.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease, but I delight in thy law.
Ihr Herz ist fühllos, wie Fett. Ich ergötze mich an Deinem Gesetz.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn thy statutes.
Gut war es für mich, daß ich gedemütigt ward, damit ich lernte Deine Satzungen.
72 The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
Besser ist mir das Gesetz Deines Mundes, denn Tausende von Gold und Silber.
73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me. Give me understanding that I may learn thy commandments.
Deine Hände haben mich gemacht und bereitet. Gib Einsicht mir, und ich lerne Deine Gebote.
74 Those who fear thee shall see me and be glad, because I have hoped in thy word.
Mich sehen, die Dich fürchten, und sind froh, denn ich warte auf Dein Wort.
75 I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness thou have afflicted me.
Ich weiß, Jehovah, daß Deine Gerichte sind gerecht, und daß in Treue Du mich gedemütigt hast.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy loving kindness be for my comfort according to thy word to thy servant.
Laß doch Deine Barmherzigkeit mir zum Troste werden, nach Deiner Rede an Deinem Knecht.
77 Let thy tender mercies come to me that I may live, for thy law is my delight.
Laß Dein Erbarmen kommen über mich, auf daß ich lebe; denn Dein Gesetz ist mein Ergötzen.
78 Let the proud be put to shame, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on thy precepts.
Beschämt werden die Vermessenen; sie stürzen mich um mit Lügen, ich aber überdenke Deine Ordnungen.
79 Let those who fear thee turn to me, and they shall know thy testimonies.
Es müssen zurückkehren zu mir die, so Dich fürchten, und Deine Zeugnisse kennen!
80 Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes that I be not put to shame.
Untadelig sei mein Herz in Deinen Satzungen, auf daß ich nicht beschämt werde.
81 My soul faints for thy salvation. I hope in thy word.
Nach Deinem Heile verzehrt sich meine Seele, auf Dein Wort habe ich gewartet.
82 My eyes fail for thy word, while I say, When will thou comfort me?
Es verzehren sich meine Augen nach Deiner Rede und sagen: Wann tröstest Du mich?
83 For I have become like a wine-skin in the smoke. Yet I do not forget thy statutes.
Denn wie der Schlauch im Rauch bin ich; doch Deiner Satzungen vergesse ich nicht.
84 How many are the days of thy servant? When will thou execute judgment on those who persecute me?
Wie viele sind der Tage Deines Knechtes? Wann tust Du Gericht an meinen Verfolgern?
85 The proud have dug pits for me, who are not according to thy law.
Fallgruben graben mir die Vermessenen, die nicht nach Deinem Gesetz sind.
86 All thy commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help thou me.
Alle Deine Gebote sind Wahrheit. Sie verfolgen mich mit Lügen, stehe Du mir bei.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth, but I did not forsake thy precepts.
Um ein Kleines hätten sie mich von der Erde aufgerieben; doch verließ ich nicht Deine Ordnungen.
88 Revive me according to thy loving kindness, so I shall observe the testimony of thy mouth.
Belebe mich nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit, und ich werde das Zeugnis Deines Mundes halten.
89 Forever, O Jehovah, thy word is settled in heaven.
Ewiglich, o Jehovah, steht fest in den Himmeln Dein Wort.
90 Thy faithfulness is to all generations. Thou have established the earth, and it abides.
Deine Wahrheit ist zu Geschlecht und Geschlecht. Du festigst die Erde, und sie steht.
91 They abide this day according to thine ordinances, for all things are thy servants.
Nach Deinen Rechten stehen sie heute; denn alles dient Dir.
92 Unless thy law had been my delight, I should then have perished in my affliction.
Wäre Dein Gesetz nicht mein Ergötzen, dann wäre ich in meinem Elend vergangen.
93 I will never forget thy precepts, for with them thou have enlivened me.
Ewig vergesse ich nicht Deine Ordnungen; denn durch sie belebst Du mich.
94 I am thine. Save me, for I have sought thy precepts.
Dein bin ich, rette mich, denn Deinen Ordnungen frage ich nach.
95 The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider thy testimonies.
Die Ungerechten erwarten mich, daß sie mich zerstören, ich habe Einsicht in Deine Ordnungen.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection. Thy commandment is exceedingly broad.
Aller Vollkommenheit sah ich ein Ende; doch Dein Gebot ist sehr weit.
97 O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day.
Wie liebe ich Dein Gesetz! Es ist den ganzen Tag mein Nachsinnen.
98 Thy commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.
Weiser denn meine Feinde machen mich Deine Gebote; denn mein sind sie ewiglich.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
Vor allen meinen Lehrern bin ich verständig geworden; denn Deine Zeugnisse überdenke ich.
100 I understand more than the aged because I have kept thy precepts.
Einsichtsvoller bin ich, als die Alten; denn Deine Ordnungen bewahre ich.
101 I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might observe thy word.
Von jedem bösen Pfade halte ich meine Füße weg, auf daß Dein Wort ich halte.
102 I have not turned aside from thine ordinances, for thou have taught me.
Von Deinen Rechten weiche ich nicht ab, denn Du hast mich unterwiesen.
103 How sweet are thy words to my taste, than honey to my mouth!
Wie hold ist meinem Gaumen Deine Rede, mehr als Honig meinem Munde.
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding. Therefore I hate every false way.
Von Deinen Ordnungen werde ich einsichtsvoll; darum hasse ich jeglichen Pfad der Lüge.
105 Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and light to my path.
Dein Wort ist eine Leuchte meinem Fuß, und ein Licht auf meinem Steig.
106 I have sworn, and have confirmed it, that I will observe thy righteous ordinances.
Ich habe es geschworen und bestätige es, zu halten die Rechte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
107 I am afflicted very much. Revive me, O Jehovah, according to thy word.
Gar sehr bin ich gedemütigt; Jehovah, belebe mich nach Deinem Wort.
108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Jehovah, and teach me thine ordinances.
Das Freiwillige meines Mundes lasse Dir doch wohlgefallen, o Jehovah, und lehre mich Deine Rechte.
109 My soul is continually in my hand, yet I do not forget thy law.
Meine Seele ist beständig in meinen Händen; und ich vergesse Deines Gesetzes nicht.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I have not gone astray from thy precepts.
Die Ungerechten legten Schlingen mir, doch irrte ich nicht ab von Deinen Ordnungen.
111 I have taken thy testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
Deine Zeugnisse sind mir ewiges Erbe; denn sie sind die Freude meines Herzens.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes forever, even to the end.
Ich neige mein Herz, stets zu tun Deine Satzungen ewiglich.
113 I hate those who are of a double mind, but I love thy law.
Ich hasse die Zweifler und liebe Dein Gesetz.
114 Thou are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in thy word.
Mein Schutz und mein Schild bist Du, ich warte auf Dein Wort.
115 Depart from me, ye evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.
Weichet ab von mir, ihr Bösen; und ich will die Gebote meines Gottes bewahren.
116 Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live, and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Sei mir zum Anhalt nach Deiner Rede, und ich werde leben und laß mich beschämt nicht werden mit meiner Erwartung.
117 Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe, and shall have respect for thy statutes continually.
Labe Du mich, daß ich gerettet werde und beständig schaue auf Deine Satzungen.
118 Thou have set at nothing all those who err from thy statutes, for their deceit is falsehood.
Alle trittst Du nieder, die fehlgehen von Deinen Satzungen; denn Lüge ist ihr Trug.
119 Thou put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I love thy testimonies.
Als Schlacken schaffst Du alle Ungerechten im Lande weg, darum liebe ich Deine Zeugnisse.
120 My flesh trembles for fear of thee, and I am afraid of thy judgments.
Mein Fleisch durchschaudert der Schauer vor Dir, und vor Deinen Gerichten fürchte ich mich.
121 I have done justice and righteousness. Leave me not to my oppressors.
Recht tue ich und Gerechtigkeit. Überlasse mich nicht denen, die mich niederdrükken.
122 Be surety for thy servant for good. Let not the proud oppress me.
Sei Bürge für Deinen Knecht zum Guten, daß die Vermessenen mich nicht niederdrücken.
123 My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for thy righteous word.
Es verzehren sich meine Augen ob Deines Heils, und ob der Rede Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
124 Deal with thy servant according to thy loving kindness, and teach me thy statutes.
Tue mit Deinem Knecht nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit, und lehre mich Deine Satzungen.
125 I am thy servant. Give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
Dein Knecht bin ich, gib Du mir Einsicht, daß Deine Zeugnisse ich wisse.
126 It is time for Jehovah to work. They have made void thy law.
Zeit ist es zum Tun für Jehovah: sie haben Dein Gesetz zunichte gemacht.
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold, yea, above fine gold.
Darum liebe ich Deine Gebote mehr als Gold, und als feines Gold.
128 Therefore I esteem all precepts concerning all things to be right. I hate every false way.
Darum halte ich als gerade all Deine Ordnungen gänzlich; ich hasse allen Pfad der Lüge.
129 Thy testimonies are wonderful, therefore my soul keeps them.
Deine Zeugnisse sind wunderbar; darum bewahrt meine Seele sie.
130 The opening of thy words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.
Die Eröffnung Deiner Worte erleuchtet, sie gibt Einsicht den Einfältigen.
131 I opened wide my mouth, and panted, for I longed for thy commandments.
Ich öffne meinen Mund weit und lechze, denn nach Deinen Geboten sehne ich mich.
132 Turn thee to me, and have mercy upon me, as thou used to do to those who love thy name.
Wende Dich zu mir und sei mir gnädig, nach dem Recht gegen die, so Deinen Namen lieben.
133 Establish my footsteps in thy word, and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Festige meine Tritte durch Deine Rede, und laß nicht irgendein Unrecht in mir walten.
134 Redeem me from the oppression of man, so I will observe thy precepts.
Erlöse mich von der Niederdrückung des Menschen, daß ich Deine Ordnungen halte.
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant, and teach me thy statutes.
Laß Dein Angesicht leuchten auf Deinen Knecht, und lehre mich Deine Satzungen!
136 Streams of water run down my eyes, because they do not observe thy law.
Bächlein von Wasser rinnen herab von meinen Augen, über die, so nicht halten Dein Gesetz.
137 Thou are righteous, O Jehovah, and upright are thy judgments.
Gerecht bist Du, Jehovah, und gerade sind Deine Gerichte.
138 Thou have commanded thy testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
Gerechtigkeit gebietest Du in Deinen Zeugnissen und gar sehr die Wahrheit.
139 My zeal has consumed me, because my adversaries have forgotten thy words.
Vertilgt hat mich mein Eifer, daß meine Dränger Deiner Worte vergessen haben.
140 Thy word is very pure, therefore thy servant loves it.
Sehr geläutert ist Deine Rede, und Dein Knecht liebt sie.
141 I am small and despised. I do not forget thy precepts.
Gering bin ich und verachtet, ich vergesse nicht Deiner Ordnungen.
142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth.
Ewiglich ist gerecht Deine Gerechtigkeit, und Wahrheit Dein Gesetz.
143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me. Thy commandments are my delight.
Mich haben Drangsal und Angst betroffen; Deine Gebote sind mein Ergötzen.
144 Thy testimonies are righteous forever. Give me understanding, and I shall live.
Gerechtigkeit sind Deine Zeugnisse ewiglich. Gib Einsicht mir, auf daß ich lebe.
145 I have called with my whole heart. Answer me, O Jehovah. I will keep thy statutes.
Von ganzem Herzen rufe ich: Antworte mir, Jehovah! Deine Satzungen will ich wahren.
146 I have called to thee. Save me, and I shall observe thy testimonies.
Ich rufe zu Dir: Rette mich, und ich halte Deine Zeugnisse!
147 I anticipated the dawning of the morning, and cried. I hoped in thy words.
Früh in der Dämmerung stehe ich auf, und schreie, ich warte auf Deine Worte.
148 My eyes anticipated the night-watches that I might meditate on thy word.
Es kommen meine Augen den Nachtwachen zuvor, auf daß ich überdenke Deine Rede.
149 Hear my voice according to thy loving kindness. Enliven me, O Jehovah, according to thine ordinances.
Höre meine Stimme nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit, Jehovah, nach Deinem Rechte belebe mich.
150 They draw near who follow after wickedness. They are far from thy law.
Es nahen sich die, die den Schandtaten nachsetzen, von Deinem Gesetz sind sie fern.
151 Thou are near, O Jehovah, and all thy commandments are truth.

Viel sind, Jehovah, Deiner Erbarmungen. Nach Deinen Rechten belebe Du mich.
157 Many are my persecutors and my adversaries. I have not swerved from thy testimonies.
Viel sind meiner Verfolger und meiner Dränger; ich wende mich nicht ab von Deinen Zeugnissen.
158 I beheld the treacherous, and was grieved because they do not observe thy word.
Ich sehe die Treulosen und bin verdrossen, daß sie Deine Rede nicht halten.
159 Consider how I love thy precepts. Enliven me, O Jehovah, according to thy loving kindness.
Siehe, wie ich liebe Deine Ordnungen, Jehovah, nach Deiner Barmherzigkeit belebe Du mich.
160 The sum of thy word is truth, and every one of thy righteous ordinances is forever.

161 Rulers have persecuted me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of thy words.

Des Tages siebenmal lobe ich Dich wegen der Rechte Deiner Gerechtigkeit.
165 Great peace have those who love thy law, and they have no occasion of stumbling.
Viel Frieden haben die, so Dein Gesetz lieben, und sie straucheln nicht.

Ich habe Dein Heil erwartet, Jehovah, und getan nach Deinen Geboten.

173 Let thy hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen thy precepts.

174 I have longed for thy salvation, O Jehovah, and thy law is my delight.
Nach Deinem Heil sehne ich mich, Jehovah, und Dein Gesetz ist mein Ergötzen.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee. And let thine ordinances help me.
Laß meine Seele leben und Dich loben, und dein Gericht müsse mir beistehen.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek thy servant, for I do not forget thy commandments.
