Lukka 17
1 Jesu wakati kulibasikwiiya bakwe, “Ninchobeni kuti kuloba zilebyo, pesi maawe kuliyoyo muzitakiinde mulinguwe!
Then He said to the disciples: “Things that cause people to fall are bound to come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
2 Kuyoba mbubo kuti ziyo likaangwe munsingo yakwe alimwi akawaalwe mulwizi, kwiiknda kuti akeetelezya aaba banini kuti bakachite zibi.
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to fall.
3 Amulilange nyweebo nobeni. Kuti mweenzinyokwe wabisya, amumukalalile, na wasanduka amumulekelele.
Watch out for yourselves: if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4 Na wakubisizya tuli musanu atubili abuzuba mpawo kalikuboola kulinduwe tulimusanu atubili, kaamba kuti, 'Ndasanduka,' weelede kumulekelela.”
Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in that day returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
5 Batumwa bakati ku Mwami, “Koyungizya lusyomo lwesu.”
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”

Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and gird yourself and serve me until I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
9 Tamulumbi pe mulanda nkaambo wamuchitila nzyamutuma, ulamulumba na?
Does he thank that slave because he did the things commanded? I guess not!
10 Akulindinywe mbukubede, na mwachita zyoonse nzimwatumwa, mweelede kuti “Tuli balanda bateelede pe, twachita biyo nzitweelede kuchita.”
So likewise you, whenever you have done everything you were told to do, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves, because we have only done what we were supposed to.’”
11 Kwakasika kuti kachiyobweenda kaya ku Jelusalema, wakalikuyabwiinda mumugaano wa Samaliya a Galili.
Now as He was traveling toward Jerusalem, He went along between Samaria and Galilee.

And as He entered a certain village, ten men met Him—being lepers they stood at a distance.

then he fell on his face at His feet, thanking Him—and he was a Samaritan!

So Jesus reacted by saying: “Were not all ten cleansed? So where are the nine?

None were found to return and give glory to God except this foreigner!”
19 Wwakati kulinguwe, “Nyampuka weende. Lusyomo lwako lwakuponia.”
Then He said to him, “Get up and go; your faith has made you well.”
20 Naakabuzigwa aba Falisi kuti bwami bwa Leza buyoosika lili, Jesu wakabasandula watgi, “Bwami bwa Leza tabusiki aakubulangisisya.
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said: “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;

nor will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ because indeed the Kingdom of God is within you.”

Then He said to the disciples: “Days are coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of the Man, and you will not see it.
23 Mpawo bayoti kulindinywe, 'Amulange, aano! Amulange, okuya!' Pesi tamukazwi pe kukuyobatobela,
And they will say to you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Do not go along or follow.
24 mbuli kalabi mbukamweka chakumunika kuzwa kulilimwi bbazu lya julu kakaboneka kulilimbi bbazu, mbatakabe alakwe Mwana wa Muntu mubuzuba bwakwe.
Because just like the lightning that lights the whole sky when it flashes, so also will the Son of the Man be in His day.

But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

They were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Even so will it be in the day when the Son of the Man is revealed.
31 Mubuzuba oobo tamukaleeki ooyo uli aakaluli kang'anda kuti akaselele akeezye kugwisizya aanze zintu zyakwe zili mung'anda. Alubo tamukamuleki ulikumunda akaboole.
“In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to get them; and likewise he who is in the field, let him not turn back.
32 Amuyeye mukayintu wa Lot.
Remember Lot's wife!

They reacted by saying to Him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where there is a carcass, there will the vultures also be gathered.”
