1 Dørvogternes Skifeter var følgende: af Koraiterne Mesjelemja, en Søn af Kore af Abi'asafs Sønner.
Concerning the diuisions of the porters, of the Korhites, Meshelemiah the sonne of Kore of the sonnes of Asaph.
2 Mesjelemja havde Sønner: Zekarja den førstefødte, Jediael den anden, Zebadja den tredje, Jatniel den fjerde,
And the sonnes of Meshelemiah, Zechariah the eldest, Iediael the seconde, Zebadiah the third, Iathniel the fourth,
3 Elam den femte, Johanan den sjette og Eljoenaj den syvende.
Elam the fift, Ichohanan the sixt, and Eliehoenai the seuenth.
4 Obed-Edom havde Sønner: Sjemaja den førstefødte, Jozabad den anden, Joa den tredje, Sakar den fjerde, Netan'el den femte,
And the sonnes of Obed Edom, Shemaiah the eldest, Iehozabad the second, Ioah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fift,
5 Ammiel den sjette, Issakar den syvende og Pe'ulletaj den ottende; thi Gud havde velsignet ham.
Ammiel the sixt, Issachar the seuenth, Peulthai the eight: for God had blessed him.
6 Hans Søn Sjemaja fødtes Sønner, som var Herskere i deres Fædrenehus, da de var dygtige Folk.
And to Shemaiah his sonne, were sonnes borne, that ruled in the house of their father, for they were men of might.
7 Sjemajas Sønner var: Otni, Retael, Obed, Elzabad og hans Brødre, dygtige Folk, Elihu og Semakja;
The sonnes of Shemaiah were Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad and his brethren, strong men: Elihu also, and Semachiah.
8 alle disse hørte tillige med deres Sønner og Brødre til Obed-Edoms Sønner, dygtige Folk med Evner til Tjenesten, i alt to og tresindstyve Efterkommere af Obed-Edom.
All these were of the sonnes of Obed Edom, they and their sonnes and their brethren mightie and strong to serue, euen three score and two of Obed Edom.
9 Mesjelemja havde Sønner og Brødre, dygtige Folk, atten.
And of Meshelemiah sonnes and brethren, eighteene mightie men.
10 Hosa at Meraris Sønner havde Sønner: Sjimri, som var Overhoved - thi skønt han ikke var den førstefødte, gjorde hans Fader ham til Overhoved
And of Hosah of the sonnes of Merari, the sonnes were Shuri the chiefe, and (though he was not the eldest, yet his father made him the chiefe)
11 Hilkija den anden, Tebalja den tredje og Zekarja den fjerde. Hosas Sønner og Brødre var i alt tretten.
Helkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, and Zechariah the fourth: all the sonnes and the brethren of Hosa were thirteene.
12 Disse Dørvogternes Skifter, deres Overhoveder sammen med deres Brødre, blev Vagttjenesten overdraget, og således gjorde de Tjeneste i HERRENs Hus;
Of these were the diuisions of the porters of the chiefe men, hauing the charge against their brethren, to serue in the house of the Lord.
13 og om hver enkelt Port kastede de Lod mellem små som store, efter deres Fædrenehuse.
And they cast lottes both small and great for the house of their fathers, for euery gate.
14 Loddet for Østporten ramte Sjelemja. Også for hans Søn Zekarja, en klog Rådgiver, kastede man Lod, og Loddet traf Nordporten.
And the lot on the East side fel to Shelemiah: then they cast lottes for Zechariah his sonne a wise couseller, and his lot came out Northward:
15 Por Obed-Edom traf det Sydporten og for hans Sønner Forrådskamrene.
To Obed Edom Southwarde, and to his sonnes the house of Asuppim:
16 Og for Hosa traf Loddet Vestporten tillige med Sjalleketporten ved Vejen, der fører opad, den ene Vagtpost ved den anden.
To Shuppim and to Hosah Westwarde with the gate of Shallecheth by the paued streete that goeth vpward, warde ouer against warde.
17 Mod Øst var der seks Leviter, mod Nord daglig fire, mod Syd daglig tre, ved hvert af Forrådskamrene to,
Eastward were sixe Leuites, and Northwarde foure a day, and Southward foure a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
18 ved Parbar mod Vest var der fire ved Vejen, to ved Parbar.
In Parbar towarde the West were foure by the paued streete, and two in Parbar.
19 Det var Dørvogternes Skifter af Koraiternes og Meraris Efterkommere.
These are the diuisions of the porters of the sonnes of Kore, and of the sonnes of Merari.
20 Deres Brødre Leviterne, som havde Tilsyn med Guds Hus's Skatkamre og Skatkamrene til Helliggaverne:
And of the Leuites. Ahiiah was ouer the treasures of the house of God, and ouer the treasures of the dedicate things.
21 Ladans Sønner, Gersoniternes Efterkommere gennem Ladan, Overhovederne for Gersoniten Ladans Fædrenehuse: Jehieliterne.
Of the sonnes of Laadan the sonnes of the Gershunnites descending of Laadan, the chiefe fathers of Laadan were Gershunni and Iehieli.
22 Jehieliternes Sønner Zetam og hans Broder Joel havde Tilsynet med HERRENs Hus's Skafte.
The sonnes of Iehieli were Zethan and Ioel his brother, appoynted ouer the treasures of the house of the Lord.
23 Af Amramiterne, Jizhariterne, Hebroniterne og Uzzieliterne
Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites and of the Ozielites.
24 var Sjubael, en Søn af Moses's Søn Gersom, Overopsynsmand over Skattene.
And Shebuel the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Moses, a ruler ouer the treasures.
25 Hans fra Eliezer nedstammende Brødre: Hans Søn Rehabja, hans Søn Jesjaja, hans Søn Joram, hans Søn Zikri, hans Søn Sjelomit.
And of his brethren which came of Eliezer, was Rehabiah his sonne, and Ieshaiah his sonne, and Ioram his sonne, and Zichri his sonne, and Shelomith his sonne.
26 Denne Sjelomit og hans Brødre havde Tilsynet med de Skatte af Helliggaver, som Kong David, Fædrenehusenes Overhoveder, Tusind- og Hundredførerne og Hærførerne havde helliget -
Which Shelomith and his brethren were ouer al the treasures of the dedicate things, which Dauid the King, and the chiefe fathers, the captaines ouer thousands, and hundreths, and the captaines of the armie had dedicated.
27 de havde helliget dem af Krigsbyttet til Hjælp ved Bygningen at HERRENs Hus
(For of the battels and of the spoyles they did dedicate to maintaine the house of the Lord)
28 og med alt, hvad Seeren Samuel, Saul, Kisj's Søn, Abner, Ners Søn, og Joab, Zerujas Søn, havde helliget; alt, hvad der var helliget, var betroet Sjelomit og hans Brødre.
And al that Samuel the Seer had dedicate and Saul the sonne of Kish and Abner the sonne of Ner, and Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah, and whosoeuer had dedicate any thing, it was vnder the hand of Shelomith, and his brethren.
29 Af Jizhariteme udtoges Honanja og hans Sønner til Arbejdet ude i Israel som Fogeder og Dommere.
Of the Izharites was Chenaniah and his sonnes, for the busines without ouer Israel, for officers and for Iudges.
30 Af Hebroniterne var Hasjabja og hans Brødre, 1700 dygtige Folk, sat til at varetage alt, hvad der vedrørte HERRENs Tjeneste og Kongens Tjeneste i Israel vesten for Jordan.
Of the Hebronites, Ashabiah and his brethren, men of actiuitie, a thousande, and seuen hundreth were officers for Israel beyonde Iorden Westward, in all the busines of the Lord, and for the seruice of the King.
31 Til Hebroniterne hørte Jerija, Overhovedet forHebroniterne, efter deres Nedstamning, efter Fædrenehusene - i Davids fyrretyvende Regeringsår blev der iværksat en Undersøgelse angående dem, og der fandtes dygtige Folk iblandt dem i Ja'zer i Gilead
Among the Hebronites was Iediiah the chiefest, euen the Hebronites by his generations according to the families. And in the fourtieth yere of the reigne of Dauid they were sought for: and there were founde among them men of actiuitie at Iazer in Gilead.
32 og hans Brødre, 2700 dygtige Folk, Overhoveder for Fædrenehusene; dem satte Kong David over Rubeniteme, Gaditerne og Manasses halve Stamme til at varetage alle Sager, som vedrørte Gud og Kongen.
And his brethren men of actiuitie, two thousand and seuen hundreth chiefe fathers, whom King Dauid made rulers ouer the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the halfe tribe of Manasseh, for euery matter perteining to God, and for the Kings busines.
