Izaiáš 52
1 Probuď se, probuď se, oblec se v sílu svou, Sione, oblec se v roucho okrasy své, ó Jeruzaléme, město svaté; neboť nebude již více na tě dotírati neobřezaný a nečistý.
Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.
2 Otřes se z prachu, povstaň, posaď se, Jeruzaléme; dobuď se z okovů hrdla svého, ó jatá dcerko Sionská.
Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!
3 Takto zajisté dí Hospodin: Darmo jste sebe prodali, protož bez peněz budete vykoupeni.
For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,
4 Nebo takto praví Panovník Hospodin: Do Egypta sstoupil lid můj předešle, aby tam byl pohostinu, ale Assur bez příčiny jej ssužuje.
For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.
5 Nyní tedy což mám činiti? praví Hospodin. Poněvadž jest lid můj zajat darmo, a panovníci jeho k úpění jej přivodí, praví Hospodin. Nad to ustavičně každého dne jménu mému útržka se činí.
Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.
6 Protož poznáť lid můj jméno mé, protož poznáť, pravím, v ten den, že já tentýž, kterýž mluvím, aj, přítomen budu.
Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,
7 Ó jak krásné na horách nohy toho, ješto potěšené věci zvěstuje, a ohlašuje pokoj, toho, ješto zvěstuje dobré, ješto káže spasení, a mluví k Sionu: Kralujeť Bůh tvůj.
How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.
8 Strážní tvoji hlasu, hlasu pozdvihnou, a spolu prokřikovati budou; neboť okem v oko uzří, že Hospodin zase přivede Sion.
The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.
9 Zvučte, prozpěvujte spolu pustiny Jeruzalémské; neboť jest potěšil Hospodin lidu svého, vykoupil Jeruzalém.
Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:
10 Ohrnul Hospodin rámě svatosti své před očima všech národů, aby viděly všecky končiny země spasení Boha našeho.
Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.
11 Odejděte, odejděte, vyjděte z Babylona, nečistého se nedotýkejte; vyjděte z prostředku jeho, očisťte se vy, kteříž nosíte nádobí Hospodinovo.
Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;
12 Nebo ne s chvátáním vyjdete, aniž s utíkáním půjdete; předcházeti zajisté bude vás Hospodin, a zbéře vás Bůh Izraelský.
For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.
13 Aj, služebníku mému šťastně se povede, vyvýšen, vznešen a zveleben bude velmi.
Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:
14 A jakož mnozí se nad ním užasnou, že tak zohavena jest nad jiné lidi osoba jeho, způsob jeho nad syny lidské:
The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,
15 Tak zase skropí národy mnohé, i králové před ním zacpají ústa svá, proto že což jim nebylo vypravováno, to uzří, a tomu, o čemž neslýchali, porozumějí.
The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
