民數記 4
1 耶和華曉諭摩西、亞倫說：
The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2 「你從利未人中，將哥轄子孫的總數，照他們的家室、宗族，
"Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers' houses,
3 從三十歲直到五十歲，凡前來任職、在會幕裏辦事的，全都計算。
from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
4 哥轄子孫在會幕搬運至聖之物，所辦的事乃是這樣：
This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, the most holy things.
5 起營的時候，亞倫和他兒子要進去摘下遮掩櫃的幔子，用以蒙蓋法櫃，
When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the Testimony with it,
6 又用海狗皮蓋在上頭，再蒙上純藍色的毯子，把槓穿上。
and shall put a covering of sealskin on it, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its poles.
7 又用藍色毯子鋪在陳設餅的桌子上，將盤子、調羹、奠酒的爵，和杯擺在上頭。桌子上也必有常設的餅。
On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the pitchers for pouring with them; and the continual bread shall be on it.
8 在其上又要蒙朱紅色的毯子，再蒙上海狗皮，把槓穿上。
They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
9 要拿藍色毯子，把燈臺和燈臺上所用的燈盞、剪子、蠟花盤，並一切盛油的器皿，全都遮蓋。
They shall take a blue cloth, and cover the lampstand of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.
10 又要把燈臺和燈臺的一切器具包在海狗皮裏，放在抬架上。
They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.
11 在金壇上要鋪藍色毯子，蒙上海狗皮，把槓穿上。
On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
12 又要把聖所用的一切器具包在藍色毯子裏，用海狗皮蒙上，放在抬架上。
They shall take all the vessels of ministry, with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.
13 要收去壇上的灰，把紫色毯子鋪在壇上；
They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.
14 又要把所用的一切器具，就是火鼎、肉鍤子、鏟子、盤子，一切屬壇的器具都擺在壇上，又蒙上海狗皮，把槓穿上。
They shall put on it all its vessels, with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the flesh hooks, the shovels, and the basins; all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.
15 將要起營的時候，亞倫和他兒子把聖所和聖所的一切器具遮蓋完了，哥轄的子孫就要來抬，只是不可摸聖物，免得他們死亡。會幕裏這些物件是哥轄子孫所當抬的。
"When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting.
16 「祭司亞倫的兒子以利亞撒所要看守的是點燈的油與香料，並當獻的素祭和膏油，也要看守全帳幕與其中所有的，並聖所和聖所的器具。」
"The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings."
17 耶和華曉諭摩西、亞倫說：
The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
18 「你們不可將哥轄人的支派從利未人中剪除。
"Do not cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
19 他們挨近至聖物的時候，亞倫和他兒子要進去派他們各人所當辦的，所當抬的。這樣待他們，好使他們活着，不致死亡。
but thus do to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach to the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them everyone to his service and to his burden;
20 只是他們連片時不可進去觀看聖所，免得他們死亡。」
but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die."
21 耶和華曉諭摩西說：
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
22 「你要將革順子孫的總數，照着宗族、家室，
"Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers' houses, by their families;
23 從三十歲直到五十歲，凡前來任職、在會幕裏辦事的，全都數點。
you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old; all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
24 革順人各族所辦的事、所抬的物乃是這樣：
This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
25 他們要抬帳幕的幔子和會幕，並會幕的蓋與其上的海狗皮，和會幕的門簾，
they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above on it, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
26 院子的帷子和門簾（院子是圍帳幕和壇的）、繩子，並所用的器具，不論是做甚麼用的，他們都要經理。
and the tapestries of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. So they are to serve.
27 革順的子孫在一切抬物辦事之上都要憑亞倫和他兒子的吩咐；他們所當抬的，要派他們看守。
At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.
28 這是革順子孫的各族在會幕裏所辦的事；他們所看守的，必在祭司亞倫兒子以他瑪的手下。」
This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting: and their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29 「至於米拉利的子孫，你要照着家室、宗族把他們數點。
"As for the sons of Merari, you shall number them by their families, by their fathers' houses;
30 從三十歲直到五十歲，凡前來任職、在會幕裏辦事的，你都要數點。
you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.
31 他們辦理會幕的事，就是抬帳幕的板、閂、柱子，和帶卯的座，
This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle's boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,
32 院子四圍的柱子和其上帶卯的座、橛子、繩子，並一切使用的器具。他們所抬的器具，你們要按名指定。
and the pillars of the court around it, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name you shall appoint the instruments of the duty of their burden.
33 這是米拉利子孫各族在會幕裏所辦的事，都在祭司亞倫兒子以他瑪的手下。」
This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest."
34 摩西、亞倫與會眾的諸首領將哥轄的子孫，照着家室、宗族，
Moses and Aaron and the leaders of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
35 從三十歲直到五十歲，凡前來任職、在會幕裏辦事的，都數點了。
from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting.
36 被數的共有二千七百五十名。
Those who were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.
37 這是哥轄各族中被數的，是在會幕裏辦事的，就是摩西、亞倫照耶和華藉摩西所吩咐數點的。
These are those who were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
38 革順子孫被數的，照着家室、宗族，
Those who were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers' houses,
39 從三十歲直到五十歲，凡前來任職、在會幕裏辦事的，共有二千六百三十名。
from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,
even those who were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.
41 這是革順子孫各族中被數的，是在會幕裏辦事的，就是摩西、亞倫照耶和華藉摩西所吩咐數點的。
These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD.
42 米拉利子孫中各族被數的，照着家室、宗族，
Those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' houses,
43 從三十歲直到五十歲，凡前來任職、在會幕裏辦事的，共有三千二百名。
from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting,
even those who were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.
45 這是米拉利子孫各族中被數的，就是摩西、亞倫照耶和華藉摩西所吩咐數點的。
These are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
46 凡被數的利未人，就是摩西、亞倫並以色列眾首領，照着家室、宗族所數點的，
All those who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the leaders of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,
47 從三十歲直到五十歲，凡前來任職、在會幕裏做抬物之工的，共有八千五百八十名。
from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,
even those who were numbered of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.
49 摩西按他們所辦的事、所抬的物，憑耶和華的吩咐數點他們；他們這樣被摩西數點，正如耶和華所吩咐他的。
According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by Moses, everyone according to his service, and according to his burden. Thus were they numbered by him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
