Bawknae 2

1 BAWIPA koe tavai hoi thuengnae sak hanlah na ngai pawiteh, tavai kaneng e na sin han. Tavai e avan satui na awi vaiteh, frankinsen hai na thum han.

And if a soul bring a gift, a sacrifice to the Lord, his gift shall be fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and shall put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.

2 Aron e capa, vaihma koe na sin vaiteh, vaihma ni tavai kut karum buet touh, satui youn touh, frankinsen kaawm e pueng a la vaiteh, khoungroe van hmaisawi awh han. Hetteh, BAWIPA koe hmaisawi hmuitui thuengnae doeh.

And he shall bring it to the priests the sons of Aaron: and having taken from it a handful of the fine flour with the oil, and all its frankincense, then the priest shall put the memorial of it on the altar: [it is] a sacrifice, an odour of sweet savor to the Lord.

3 Kacawie tavainaw teh Aron hoi a capanaw hanelah ao han. BAWIPA koe hmai hoi thuengnae thung dawk kathoungpounge lah ao.

And the remainder of the sacrifice shall be for Aaron and his sons, a most holy portion from the sacrifices of the Lord.

4 Hmai pâeng e vaiyei hoi thuengnae sak hanlah na ngai pawiteh, satui, tonphuenhoehe phen thoseh, satui hluk e vaiteh kamrâw tonphuenhoehe hai thoseh, thuengnae lah na sak awh han.

And if he bring as a gift a sacrifice baked from the oven, a gift to the Lord of fine flour, [he shall bring] unleavened bread kneaded with oil, and unleavened cakes anointed with oil.

5 Ukkang dawk karê e vaiyei thuengnae lah sak han na ngai pawiteh, satui hoi kalawt teh tonphuenhoehe tavai hoi na sak han.

And if your gift [be] a sacrifice from a pan, it is fine flour mingled with oil, unleavened [offerings].

6 Hote vaiyei na raen vaiteh, satui na awi han. Tavai hoi thuengnae sak e doeh.

And you shall break them into fragments and pour oil upon them: it is a sacrifice to the Lord.

7 Ukkang dawk karê e vaiyei hoi thuengnae sak han na ngai pawiteh, satui hoi kalawt e tavai hoi na sak han.

And if your gift be a sacrifice from the hearth, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

8 Hote tavai hoi thuengnae sak e naw pueng, BAWIPA koe a thokhai vaiteh vaihma koe a poe hnukkhu ahni ni khoungroe koe a thokhai han.

And he shall offer the sacrifice which he shall make of these to the Lord, and shall bring it to the priest.

9 Tavai hoi thuengnae dawk e a pham thai tawk a pham vaiteh khoungroe van hmai a sawi han. Hetteh, BAWIPA koe hmaisawi hmuitui thuengnae lah ao.

And the priest shall approach the altar, and shall take away from the sacrifice a memorial of it, and the priest shall place it on the altar: a burnt offering, a smell of sweet savor to the Lord.

10 Kacawie tavai teh Aron hoi a capanaw hanelah ao han. BAWIPA koe thuengnae thung dawk kathoungpounge hno lah ao.

And that which is left of the sacrifice [shall be] for Aaron and his sons, most holy from the burnt offerings of the Lord.

11 BAWIPA koe poe e tavai hoi thuengnae dawk ton phuen mahoeh. BAWIPA koe hmai hoi thuengnae na sak navah, ton hmai na sawi mahoeh. Khoitui hai hmai na sawi mahoeh.

You shall not leaven any sacrifice which you shall bring to the Lord; for [as to] any leaven, or any honey, you shall not bring of it to offer a gift to the Lord.

12 Aluepaw thuengnae dawk ton hoi khoitui hah BAWIPA koe poe thai ei nakunghai, hmuitui hanelah khoungroe dawk teh hmai na sawi mahoeh.

You shall bring them in the way of fruits to the Lord, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a sweet smelling savor to the Lord.

13 Tavai hoi thuengnae pueng dawk palawi na phuen han. Na sak e thuengnae dawk, BAWIPA e lawkkam palawi na phuen roeroe han.

And every gift of your sacrifice shall be seasoned with salt; omit not the salt of the covenant of the Lord from your sacrifices: on every gift of yours you shall offer salt to the Lord your God.

14 Cavui aluepaw, BAWIPA koe thuengnae sak hanlah na ngai pawiteh, cavui hah hmai na pahai lahoi na kamkim sak vaiteh na kanawi hnukkhu,

And if you would offer a sacrifice of first fruits to the Lord, [it shall be] new grains ground [and] roasted for the Lord; so shall you bring the sacrifice of the first fruits.

15 Satui na awi vaiteh, frankinsen hai na thum han. Hetteh, BAWIPA koe tavai hoi thuengnae lah ao.

And you shall pour oil upon it, and shall put frankincense on it: it is a sacrifice.

16 Na kanawi tangcoung e cakang youn touh, satui youn touh, frankinsen kaawm e puenghoi vaihma ni hmaisawi han. Hetteh, BAWIPA koe hmaisawi thuengnae lah ao.

And the priest shall offer the memorial of it [taken] from the grains with the oil, and all its frankincense: it is a burnt offering to the Lord.
