1 Hichun Shuh mi Bildad chun adonbut in:
Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 Nathusei nangah masang a ichan sauva nasei nahlai ding ham? Ka donbut diu nadeija ahile chihna thu seijin.
How long [will it be ere] ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
3 Nangin keiho gamsa ho sanga phajo maimaija neigel uham? Nangin keiho hi mingol a nei ngai tou ham?
Wherefore are we counted as beasts, [and] reputed vile in your sight?
4 Nalung han man in nalu jang sam chu botchai theijin nate, ahinlah hichun leiset asuhmang thei ding ham? Songpi ho akithin sah theiding ham?
He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?
5 Tahbeh in migilou te thaomei kimut mit peh intin ameikong jeng u jong vahdoh lou ding ahi.
Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
6 Aponbuh uva athaomei jengu jong hung thim ding ahi, achung lang uva kikhai thaomei jong kimutmit ding ahi.
The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
7 Migilouvin ama kam'a kitahsan tah a akalson nau kisuhchom peh ding, amaho thilgon mama a chu kipal lhu diu ahi.
The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
8 Migilou chu lenna a ohin kokhuh sunga alhalut jiuve.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
9 Thang kikam chun akhotal jum u akhit khan thang chun akhit chah kheh e.
The gin shall take [him] by the heel, [and] the robber shall prevail against him.
10 Khaokol chu tolla akisel den nalaijin, alampiuva khao akijung galkai peh e.
The snare [is] laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
11 Migiloute chu kichat tijatnan aum kimvel un chule akalson jouse asuboi ji'e.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
12 Akelthoh u chun athao asulhom in chuleh vangset nachun amaho kipal lhuh ding chu anga ahi.
His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction [shall be] ready at his side.
13 Natna in ativun u anen, thinan atibah u aval lhum tai.
It shall devour the strength of his skin: [even] the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.
14 Ahoidoh nau ainuva konna kibotkhen uva, chule kichat umtah lengpa henga chun akipui lha tauve.
His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
15 Migiloute in chu kihal lha a ain chung uva kath meikong akijuh lhah sah e.
It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because [it is] none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
16 Ajungu golha a abah u jong goplha ding ahi.
His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
17 Aum ingo kihetna ho jouse leisetna konna mangthah ding ahin koima chan amaho min chu ageldoh kit lou ding ahi.
His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
18 Khovah a konna muthim lah a kisep lut ding ahiuvin vannoi leiset a konna kidel manga ahi tauve.
He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
19 Amahon chate hihen tute hijongle anei tahlou ding u ahi, achennau gamsung a hung cheng ding son leh pah hung beihel ding ahi.
He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
20 Nilhum lam miten avangset diu akichat peh un, solam amite akichauve.
They that come after [him] shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
21 Hichehi migilou Pathen neiloute chenna mun ahi tin hin seiju vinte.
Surely such [are] the dwellings of the wicked, and this [is] the place [of him that] knoweth not God.
