< Hebrew 9 >

1 Hiche Pathen le Israelte kikah akitepna masa a chu leiset chunga Ama houna mun le Ama houna chondanho uma ahi.
Then verily the first [covenant] had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
2 Hiche houbuh chu dannia kihom khena ahi. Dan masa sunga chu thaomeikhom khat, dokhang khat, chule dokhang chunga chu changlhah theng pheng ni uma ahi. Hiche dan hi “Muntheng” kitia ahi.
For there was a tabernacle made; the first, in which [was] the candlestick, and the table, and the show-bread; which is called the sanctuary.
3 Abanah pondal khat aumin, chule hiche pondal nung lama adan sung nung um chu “Muntheng” pena kitin ahi.
And after the second vail, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
4 Hiche dan sunga chun Sana maicham kihal namtui aumin chule thinga kisem thingkonglen Kitepna Thingkong chu aninglia sana jenga kitoma ahi. Thingkong sunga chun sana a kisem bel khat aumin, belsunga chun-Manna, Aaron Tenggol hungpah ado um chule Kitepna Songpheng teni jong aume.
Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid around with gold, in which [was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
5 Chule Kitepna Thingkong chunga chun Pathen loupina Cherub ni aumin, alhaving teni chun Kitepna kong chung, lhatdohna mun, chu atomkhum jengin. Hinla hitiho jouse hi tun achen achaiyin ihilchen joupouve.
And over it the cherubim of glory shadowing the mercy-seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.
6 Hicheho jouse amun akigontup chun, thempuho chu indan masa pena chu aniseh a lut uva kilhaina natoh ho chu atoh jingu ahi.
Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service [of God]:
7 Hinlah Thempu chungnung bou chu Muntheng pena chu lutthei, chule kumkhat'a khatvei bou galut thei ahi. Ama chun ama le amiten hetlouva chonset abol dohhouva kilhaina a thisan chukoma akat ji ahi.
But into the second [went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and [for] the errors of the people:
8 Hiche chonnaho Lhagao Thengin aphondoh chu ahileh Muntheng pen a luttheina chu Houbuh le chuchea kimanchahna dan ho manchah ahilai sung sen gahmohlut ahithei poi tihi ahi.
The Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while the first tabernacle was yet standing:
9 Hiche hi tuphat umdol vetsahna khat hiya ahi. Ijeh inem itileh thilpeh le kilhainaho thempuhon akatdoh u chun thilto ding hinchoi ho dingin selepha hetna alungthimu chu athensah joupoi.
Which [was] a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 Ajeh chu chonna lui hoa neh le don chule kisuhthengna gotchom chom, tahsa thila juiding chonna anaumho chu aphajo chonna ahung umdoh kahsea ding bou ahije.
[Which stood] only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed [on them] until the time of reformation.
11 Hiti chun tun Christa hi ahungding thilpha jousea dinga Thempu Chungnunga hung panga ahitai. Ama alenjo, achamkimjoa Van mun'a houbuh a chu lut'ah ahitan, hichu mihem khut in asah hitalou vannoi kisemna a jong jaotha louva ahiye.
But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Kelchal hole bongnou hoa hitalouvin, Ama thisan a chu Ama Munthengpen tah'a chu khatveiya chule a-itih a dinga eiho lhatdohna chu asemdoh ahitai. (aiōnios g166)
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood; he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us]. (aiōnios g166)
13 Chonna luiya chu kelchal ho le bongchal ho chule bongnou kihalvamna vut a chu chonna ngaidol thenlouna hoa kona kisutheng thei ahiuve.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctify to the purifying of the flesh:
14 Ngaito le chun, ichan geiya Christa thisan chun chonset natohnaa kona selepha hetna chu gamchenga asuhthenga Pathen hing chu ihou thei dingu asodoh hitam. Ijeh ham itileh tonsot Lhagao thaneina a kona Christa Amatah chu ichonset jal uva Pathen a kikatdoh a ahitai. (aiōnios g166)
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (aiōnios g166)
15 Hijeh a chu Ama Pathen le mipite kikah a palaiya panga Pathen in athutep ho dinga tonsot'a alodingu chu akouho chun akisan theiyu ahitai. Ijeh ham itileh kitepna masaa chonset aboljeh'uva thiho chu lhatdoh dinga Christa chu hungthia ahitai. (aiōnios g166)
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they who are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (aiōnios g166)
16 Tun, koiham khat chun kitepna aneiya ahileh aphotchenna a kitepna bolpa chu athi angaiyin ahi.
For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 Kitepna chu akitem pa thitengle bou kisudet'a ahi. Kitepna bolpa chu ahinlaisea kitepna chu kisudet louva ahi.
For a testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
18 Hijeh achu kitepna masa jong chu gancha khat thisan a kitahsoa ahi.
Hence even the first [testament] was not dedicated without blood.
19 Ijeh ham itileh Mosen Pathen thupeh ho chu khat khata mijouse masanga asimdoh jou chun, aman bongnou le kelchal thisan ho chu alan, twitoh alahthan, Pathen Danbu le mihonpi chu hyssop thingbahho mangchan a samul sandup jong chu athekhum ahi.
For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book and all the people,
20 Chuin aman, “Hiche thisan hin Pathen in kitepna nangho toh asem chu aphudet ahi,” ati.
Saying, This [is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined to you.
21 Chule hitima chun, aman houbuh chule Pathen houna'a kimang jouse chunga chun thisan athekhum in ahi.
Moreover, he sprinkled likewise with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
22 Tahbeh in, Mose Danbu dungjuia imajouse chu thisanin athensah ji ahi. Ijeh inem itileh thisan kisolouna a chu chonset ngaidam channa umlou ahi.
And almost all things are by the law cleansed with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 Hiche jeh a chu Houbuh le asunga umjouse chu, van'a um thil ho vetsahna ahin, gancha ho thisan a suhtheng ngai ahi. Hinla atahbeh van'a um chu gancha ho thisan sanga phajo chun asuhtheng ngai ahi.
[It was] therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 Ijeh ham itileh mihem khut a kisa muntheng chu, vana atahbehpa gongso ahibouvin, hichea chun Christa agalutpoi. Ama chu vana alut in Pathen angsungah eiho thalhengin agakilah in ahi.
For Christ hath not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Chule Ama van'a agalut hi thempu chungnung hiche leiset chunga muntheng pena ganthisan choiya agalut tobanga chu avel vel'a akikatdohna dinga galut'ah ahitapoi.
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 Hichu ngaikhoh ahileh Christa chu vannoi kiphudoh a pat a avel vel'a hung thiding ahitai. Hinla tun, khang kichaikon lama hi chonset suhbeina dinga Amatah hung kilah a khatveiya a-itih a dinga kikatdoh a thia ahitai. (aiōn g165)
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (aiōn g165)
27 Chule amichang cheh hi khat vei thidinga gonsa ahi chujoutahle thutanna hunglhung ding ahi.
And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 Hitobanga chu Christa hi mitampi chonsetna lamang dinga khatvei thia ahi. Ama ichonset u chungchang thutan dinga hilouva, Ama ngahjinga umho jouse huhhing dinga hungkit ding joh ahi.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and to them that look for him he will appear the second time without sin to salvation.
