1 Pakaiyin Mose heng'a thupeh hicheng hi anei jin:
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Israel mite heng'a seiyin nung lam'a a kihei uva Pi-hahiroth le Migdol kikah san-dung chule Baalzephon gal lamma ngahmun asem naiduvin aheng uvah seipeh'un,” ati.
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea: before Baal-Zephon, opposite to it, shall ye encamp by the sea.
3 Chutileh Pharaoh in hitia hi angaito ding, “Israel mite alungdong tauvin, suhna ding helouvin gamthip noija akitol le tauve, ati ding ahi.”
And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness has hemmed them in.
4 “Hitia chu keima avel'a Pharaoh lungthim ka suhtah ding, aman nangho nung ahin delding ahi. Ajeh chu keiman ka gontupsa ahitai, Pharaoh le agalsat mite chung'a ka loupina kakilah sah ding ahi. Chuteng Egypt mite'n keima Pakai kahi ahin hetdoh diu ahitai! Aheng uva kisei peh bang'in Israel mite'n hiche munna chun ngahmun akisem tauvin ahi.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he may pursue after them; and I will glorify myself in Pharaoh, and in all his host; and the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah. And they did so.
5 “Pharaoh lengpa le asohte ho heng'a Israel mite ajam tauve tithu alhun phat in, Pharaoh leh asohte lungthim akikhel kit tan, “Ipi khat ibol uva Israel mite asoh chan nauva kon'na jam gam'u hitam?” tin asei uve.
And it was told the king of Egypt that the people had fled; and the heart of Pharaoh and of his bondmen was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from our service?
6 Pharaoh in jong agalsat miho le sakol kangtalai hochu agon tupsah loijin ahi.
And he yoked his chariot, and took his people with him.
7 “Pharaoh vin sakol-kangtalai hatcheh jagup le Egypt gamsung'a sakol kangtalai dangho jouse abonchan vaihom mitam pichu atou tauvin ahi.”
And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.
8 “Pakaiyin Pharaoh kiti Egypt lengpa lungthim asutah nalai jin ahile, aman jong Egypt gamsung dalha'a jam Israel mite nungchu adel tan ahi.”
And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel; and the children of Israel had gone out with a high hand.
9 “Egypt mite'n jong Israelte chu Pharaoh'in galsat miho thaneina lhingset apen anung adel tauvin a sakol jouseo leh sakol-kangtalai jouse, sakol touthem jouse le agalsat mijouse abonchauvin adimlha tauvin ahi.”
And the Egyptians pursued after them, — all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them where they had encamped by the sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, opposite to Baal-Zephon.
10 Pharaoh jong Israel mite umnalam anailut jep phat'in amahon Pharaoh lam chu avetou uvin, hichun amahon anung lam uva Egypt mite ahung kitol chu amu tauve. Abonchauvin Pakai heng'a atao uvin,
And Pharaoh approached; and the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and the children of Israel were much afraid, and cried out to Jehovah.
11 Mose heng'a asei un, “Ipi ding'a gamthip noija hi thigam ding'a neihin puidoh'u hitam? Hitia ka thi gam sang uva Egypt mite khut noija soh'a ka um'mu phajo lou ham? Ka chung uva ipi nabol jing hitam? Ipi dinga Egypt gamsung'a kona nei puidoh'u ham?
And they said to Moses, Is it because there were no graves in Egypt, thou hast taken us away to die in the wilderness? why hast thou done this to us, that thou hast led us out of Egypt?
12 Egypt gamsung kaum lai uva chu, hi tabanghi soh tei ding ahi tia ka seiju hilou ham? Tunjong na henga ka seiju ahi, “Nei dalha jeng tauvin! Egypt mite khut noija soh in umkit tau vinge. Hiche laimunna ka thigam sang uvin Egypt mite khut noija soh'a ka um'u apha joi!” tin asei tauve.
Is not this what we told thee in Egypt, when we said, Let us alone, and we will serve the Egyptians? For [it had been] better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.
13 Ahinlah Mose'n mipi heng'a asei jin, “Kicha hihhel un, dingdet jing un veuvin, tunia hi Pakaiyin na huhdoh diu ahiye. Chule tunia kipat avella Egypt mite namukit tah lou diu ahi,” ati.
And Moses said to the people, Fear not: stand still, and see the salvation of Jehovah, which he will work for you to-day; for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to-day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 “Pakai amatah'in nangho galsat'a pang ding ahi.”
Jehovah will fight for you, and ye shall be still.
15 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose heng'a asei jin, “Ipi ding'a keima heng'a tao na hiuvem? Mipiho ma lamma akitol na diuvin seijin!
And Jehovah said to Moses, Why dost thou cry unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.
16 “Na-tenggol jan doh tem in twikhanglen-dung vum chu jep tan. Twipi chu sukhen'in chutileh Israel mite twikhanglen lai lung tolgo lah achu ki jot ding'u ahi.”
And thou, lift thy staff, and stretch out thy hand over the sea, and divide it; and the children of Israel shall go on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea.
17 “Chule keiman Egypt mite lungthim kasuh tah ding, amahon Israel mite thagam na ding angai todiu ahi, chuteng asakol kangtalai jouseo, asakol tounau nangho that gam ding'a hungkon ahiuvin, abonchauva keiman kathaneina aheng uva ka kilah sah ding ahi.”
And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall pursue after them; and I will glorify myself in Pharaoh and in all his host, in his chariots and in his horsemen.
18 “Egypt mite ma-sang'a kaloupina kakimusah ding ahijoi, chuteng keima Pakai kahi ahin hetdoh diu ahi!” ati.
And the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have glorified myself in Pharaoh, in his chariots and in his horsemen.
19 Chuin Pakai vantil'in Israel mite ahin lhonpi'n. Mipi masang lam'a meilom chu nunglam joh'a ahung tan ahi.
And the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before them, and stood behind them.
20 Chuin meilom chu Israel mite le Egypt mite kah'a ahung umtai. Mu-athim lha jeng tan, meilom jong meikong a kisoh'in kho ahung thim tan ahile, jan khovah keijin Israel mite chu Egypt miten ahin del pha tapo uvin ahi.
And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and was a cloud and darkness, and lit up the night; and the one did not come near the other all the night.
21 Chuin Mose'n a tenggol chu twikhanglen san-dung vumma ajah doh jing'a ahile, chuin Pakaiyin twikhanglen dung chu solamma kon hui ahung nung in ahinsem hoh tan ahi. Jan khovah keijin huijin twikhanglen chu asem in, twikhanglen jong aki khen'in tol lham golai ahung umdohtan ahi.
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Jehovah made the sea go [back] by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided.
22 Chuphat'in Israel mite abonchauvin tolgo laiya chun akitol'un alang alang'abang-bang'in twi chu kiting tan ahi!
And the children of Israel went through the midst of the sea on the dry [ground]; and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
23 Chuin Egypt mite Pharaoh galsat sakol jouse, sakol kangtalai jouse chule sakol touthem jouse jaona'n Twikhanglen lailung'a kitol Israel mite chu adel tauvin ahi.
And the Egyptians pursued and came after them — all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots and his horsemen, into the midst of the sea.
24 “Jingpi ahi phat in Pakaiyin Egypt mite chu meikong leh meilom mangchan ahin vesuh tauvin ahile, chuin Egypt galsat miho chu abonchauvin suh na ding beijin a nohgam tauvin ahi.
And it came to pass in the morning watch, that Jehovah looked upon the camp of the Egyptians, in the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and embarrassed the camp of the Egyptians.
25 Pakaiyin a kangtalai jouse'u abonchan a tuhtang gam tan ahile, kangtalai hochu abonchan a kitang den gam tai. Egypt miten jong aseita'u vin! “Israel mite angsung'a kon'in jamdoh loiju hite,” ajeh chu “Pakaiyin Israel mite apan pin Egypt mite chung'a gal asat tai,” atiuve.
And he took off their chariot wheels, and caused them to drive with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, Let us flee before Israel, for Jehovah is fighting for them against the Egyptians!
26 Israel mite agalkai phat uvin, Pakaiyin Mose heng'a aseijin, “Egypt mite twijin ale lonkhum na ding'in na tenggol jahdoh inlang twipilen chungvum hi jep tem in, ati.”
And Jehovah said to Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the sea, that the waters may return upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots and upon their horsemen.
27 Nisa ahung sodoh toh ki lhon'in, Pakaiyin a thupeh bang in Mose'n Twipilen chung vumma akhut ajah tan ahile, Twipilen jong angai ja bang bang in ahung um doh kit tai.
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength toward the morning; and the Egyptians fled against it; and Jehovah overturned the Egyptians into the midst of the sea.
28 Chuin Twi akitol mat kit tan, Israel mite nung hindel a Egypt galsat miho le sakol touthem jouse, kangtalai jouse abonchauvin Twi jin achup gam hel taovin khat jeng cha jong asohcha tapouvin ahi.
And the waters returned, and covered the chariots and the horsemen of all the host of Pharaoh that had come into the sea after them; there remained not even one of them.
29 Ahinlah Israel mite chu Twipilen lailung'a tolgo achun akitol jing uvin, twipi jing jong ajet aveija akisong den jeng in ahi.
And the children of Israel walked on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
30 Hiche nikho'a hi Pakaiyin Israel mite chu Egypt mite khut akon'in ahu doh'in Israel mite'n amit tah uvin twi-khanglen galla Egypt mite thilong kijam hochu amutaovin ahi.
Thus Jehovah saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the sea-shore.
31 Egypt miten Isreal mite douna anei uva Pakai thahat le natoh ki dang amuchen ta uvin ahile, Israel mite'n Pakai chu aging tauve. Pakai le alhachapa Mose jong aging uvin, tahsan ki phudetna anei tauvin ahi.
And Israel saw the great power [with] which Jehovah had wrought against the Egyptians; and the people feared Jehovah, and believed in Jehovah, and in Moses his bondman.
