< Saam 11 >

1 Bawipa awh thuk loet nyng. Kaw amyihna nang ing na ti; Pha amyihna na tlang awh ding hlah.
For the end, a Psalm of David. In the Lord I have put my trust: how will ye say to my soul, Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?
2 Toek mai lah, thlak che ing licung hawi nawh; than a hypnaak awhkawng thlakdyng ce a lingbyi awh kah aham a licung qui awh laa met hyt hy.
For behold the sinners have bent their [bow], they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot For privily at the upright in heart.
3 A lungsym ce ni hqe peek hoek awhtaw, thlakdyng ing ikaw asai thai hly tang,” na ti?
For they have pulled down what thou didst frame, but what has the righteous done?
4 Bawipa taw bawkim ciim khuina awm nawh; Bawipa taw ak khan ngawihdoelh awh awm hy. Thlanghqing capakhqi ce khoem nawh; amik ing cekkhqi ce nym anai poepa hy.
The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men.
5 Bawipa ing thlakdyng nym anai nawh; thlak chekhqi ingkaw kawpoek sekhqi taw ang myihla ing sawh na hy.
The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.
6 Thlak chekhqi ak khanawh mai-eh ingkaw katmai tlan sak kaw; ak hlawk soeih khawhli ce a mingmih a pang kawi na awm kaw.
He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.
7 Bawipa taw a dyng a dawngawh, ak thym ik-oeih ce lungna hy; kawlung ak dyngkhqi ingtaw a haai ce hu kawm uh.
For the Lord [is] righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.
