1 [Asaph kah Tingtoenglung] Pathen aw, namtom rhoek loh na rho a kun uh thil tih, na bawkim cim te a poeih uh. Jerusalem te lairhok bangla a khueh uh.
A Psalm of Asaph. O God, nations have come into Thy inheritance, They have defiled Thy holy temple, They made Jerusalem become heaps,
2 Na sal rhoek kah a rhok te vaan kah vaa taengah, na hlangcim rhoek kah a saa te diklai mulhing taengah cakok la a paek uh.
They gave the dead bodies of Thy servants Food for the fowls of the heavens, The flesh of Thy saints For the wild beast of the earth.
3 Amih thii te Jerusalem kaepvai ah tui bangla a hawk uh tih aka up om pawh.
They have shed their blood As water round about Jerusalem, And there is none burying.
4 Kaimih he imben rhoek kah kokhahnah, ka taengvai kah tamdaengnah neh soehsalnah la ka om uh.
We have been a reproach to our neighbours, A scorn and a derision to our surrounders.
5 BOEIPA aw me hil nim na thin a toek ve? Na thatlainah te hmai bangla rhong yoeyah aya?
Till when, O Jehovah? art Thou angry for ever? Thy jealousy doth burn as fire.
6 Nang aka ming pawh namtom rhoek so neh na ming aka khue mueh ram soah na kosi hawk thil lah.
Pour Thy fury on the nations who have not known Thee, And on kingdoms that have not called in Thy name.
7 Jakob te a yoop uh tih a tolkhoeng te a pong sak uh.
For [one] hath devoured Jacob, And his habitation they have made desolate.
8 Lamhma kah thaesainah a rho te kaimih taengah thoelh boel lamtah dikdik ka tlayae uh dongah na haidamnah kaimih koe n'doe uh saeh.
Remember not for us the iniquities of forefathers, Haste, let Thy mercies go before us, For we have been very weak.
9 Kaimih kah daemnah Pathen aw na thangpomnah ming ham kaimih m'bom dae. Na ming kongah kaimih n'huul lamtah kaimih kah tholhnah te han dawth dae.
Help us, O God of our salvation, Because of the honour of Thy name, And deliver us, and cover over our sins, For Thy name's sake.
10 Balae tih namtom rhoek loh, “A Pathen khaw melae?” a ti uh eh. Na sal rhoek kah thii aka hawk namtom taengah tawnlohnah loh kaimih mikhmuh ah aka thoeng te namtom rhoek loh ming uh saeh.
Why do the nations say, 'Where [is] their God?' Let be known among the nations before our eyes, The vengeance of the blood of Thy servants that is shed.
11 Thongtla kah a kiinah loh namah taengla ha pawk saeh. Dueknah cadil rhoek te na boeilennah bantha neh sueng sak.
Let the groaning of the prisoner come in before Thee, According to the greatness of Thine arm, Leave Thou the sons of death.
12 Te vaengah kaimih kah imben rhoek te voeirhih la thuung lah. A kodang ah amih kah kokhahnah neh Boeipa namah ni m'veet uh coeng te.
And turn Thou back to our neighbours, Sevenfold unto their bosom, their reproach, Wherewith they reproached Thee, O Lord.
13 Te dongah na pilnam kaimih neh na rhamtlim kah boiva long tah, namah te kumhal duela kan uem uh ni. Cadilcahma neh cadilcahma hil nang koehnah te ka tae uh ni.
And we, Thy people, and the flock of Thy pasture, We give thanks to Thee to the age, To all generations we recount Thy praise!
