1 [Aka mawt ham David kah tingtoenglung] BOEIPA nang kah sarhi dongah manghai a kohoe tih, namah kah khangnah dongah bahoeng omngaih.

The king shall joy in thy strength, O YHWH; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

2 Anih ham a lungbuei kah a ngaihlihnah khaw na doo tih, a hmuilai kah a kueknah te na hloh pah pawh. (Selah)

Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. (Selah)

3 Anih te yoethennah then neh na doe tih a lu ah suicilh rhuisam na khueh pah.

For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

4 Namah taengkah hingnah ham bih vaengah anih ham kumhal ah khohnin na puh sak tih na paek yoeyah.

He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

5 Nang kah khangnah lamloh a thangpomnah tanglue tih, mueithennah neh rhuepomnah te anih dongah na hal coeng.

His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

6 Anih te yoethennah na paek yoeyah dongah namah hmai kah kohoenah neh a ko na hoe sak.

For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

7 Te dongah manghai loh BOEIPA dongah pangtung tih, Khohni kah sitlohnah rhang neh tuen voel mahpawh.

For the king trusteth in YHWH, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

8 Na thunkha boeih te na kut loh a hmuh vetih, na lunguet rhoek khaw na bantang kut loh a tuuk bitni.

Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

9 Namah na phoe tue vaengah amih te hmaipom hmai bangla na khueh bitni. BOEIPA kah a thintoek loh amih te a dolh vetih hmai loh a hlawp ni.

Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: YHWH shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

10 Amih kah a thaihtae te diklai lamkah, amih kah tiingan khaw hlang capa rhoek khui lamkah na milh sak ni.

Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

11 Nang taengah tangkhuepnah a thae la moeh uh tih n'taeng uh dae a phu uh hae moenih.

For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

12 Tedae na liva neh amih maelhmai te na nuen vaengah amih te a hnuk la na rhoe bitni.

Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

13 BOEIPA te pomsang pai saeh. Na sarhi te ka hlai uh vetih na thayung thamal te ka tingtoeng uh ni.

Be thou exalted, YHWH, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
