< Isaiah 65 >

“I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask. I am found by those who didn’t seek me. I said, ‘See me, behold me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name.

I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts; don’t come near to me,

a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks;

who sit among the graves, and spend nights in secret places; who eat pig’s meat, and their pots hold soup made of disgusting things;
5 “Nang te khoem uh laeh, kai taengla ha mop boeh,” aka ti rhoek aw he hmaikhu, khohnin yung kah hmai aka rhong neh ka hnarhong khuiah nan hawth uh.
who say, ‘Stay by yourself, for I am holier than you.’ These are smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all day.
6 Ka mikhmuh ah a daek tangtae coeng ni he, ka ngam mahpawh. Amih kah rhang dongah ka thuung rhoe ka thuung ni.
“Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will repay, yes, I will repay into their bosom,
7 Nangmih kah thaesainah neh na pa rhoek kah thaesainah khaw BOEIPA loh rhenten a thui coeng. Tlang ah a phum tih som ah kai m'veet uh. Te dongah a thaphu te amamih kah rhang dongah lamhma la ka loeng pah ni.
your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together,” says Adonai, “who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills. Therefore I will first measure their work into their bosom.”

Adonai says, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so will I do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.

I will bring offspring out of Jacob [Supplanter], and out of Judah [Praised] an inheritor of my mountains. My chosen will inherit it, and my servants will dwell there.
10 Kai aka toem ka pilnam ham tah Sharon te boiva kah tolkhoeng la, Akor kol saelhung kah a kolhmuen la om ni.
Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.
11 Tedae nangmih tah BOEIPA aka hnoo, ka tlang cim aka hnilh, Yoekam ham caboei aka phaih, Meni ham yu aka doh,
“But you who forsake Adonai, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;

I will destine you to the sword, and you will all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you didn’t answer. When I spoke, you didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey·; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”

Therefore thus says the Lord Adonai, “Behold, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry; behold, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, my servants will rejoice, but you will be disappointed;
14 Ka sal rhoek te lungbuei thennah neh a tamhoe uh vaengah nangmih tah lungbuei thakkhoeihnah na pang uh vetih mueihla pocinah neh na rhung uh ni.
Behold, my servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will wail for anguish of spirit.
15 Nangmih ming tah ka coelh rhoek taengah olhlo la kap vetih nang te ka Boeipa Yahovah loh n'duek sak ni. Tedae a sal rhoek te ming a tloe neh a khue ni.
You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Adonai will kill you. He will call his servants by another name,
16 Diklai ah aka uem te tah Amen Pathen loh a uem vetih diklai ah aka toemngam tah Amen Pathen loh a toemngam ni. Hnukbuet kah citcai te a hnilh uh vetih ka mikhmuh ah thuh uh ni.
so that he who blesses himself in the earth will bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
17 Vaan thai neh diklai thai ka suen coeng he. Lamhma te poek uh voel pawt vetih lungbuei ah khaw cuen voel mahpawh.
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 Tedae lat ngaingaih uh lamtah kai loh ka suen te a yoeyah la omngaih puei uh. Kai loh Jerusalem kah omngaihnah neh a pilnam kah omthennah te ka suen coeng.
But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem [City of peace] to be a delight, and her people a joy.
19 Jerusalem soah ka omngaih vetih ka pilnam soah ka ngaingaih bal ni. A khuiah rhah ol neh pang ol n'yaak voel mahpawh.
I will rejoice in Jerusalem [City of peace], and delight in my people; and the voice of weeping and the voice of crying will be sh'ma ·heard obeyed· in her no more.
20 Te ah tah a kum aka cahni neh a kum aka soep mueh patong khaw koep om mahpawh. Camoe khaw kum yakhat ca thoeng ah duek ni. Tedae kum yakhat ca thoeng duela lai aka hmu tah thae a phoei thil ni.
“No more will there be an infant who only lives a few days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child will die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed.
21 Im a sak uh vetih kho a sak uh ni. Misur a phung uh vetih a thaih a caak uh ni.
They will build houses, and inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
22 A sak uh phoeiah tah a tloe loh khosak thil mahpawh. A phung phoeiah a tloe loh ca mahpawh. Ka pilnam kah kum he thingkung kah kum bangla om vetih a kut kah bitat te ka coelh rhoek loh a hmawn puei ni.
They will not build, and another inhabit. They will not plant, and another eat: for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, and my chosen will long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 A poeyoek la kohnue uh pawt vetih lungmitnah la ca cun uh mahpawh. Amih kah tiingan neh a taengkah a cadil cahma khaw BOEIPA kah yoethen a paek rhoek ni.
They will not labor in vain, nor give birth for calamity; for they are the offspring of Adonai’s blessed, and their descendants with them.
24 Om ngawn bitni, ng'khue uh hlanah khaw kai loh ka doo ni. A thui uh li vaengah kai loh ka yaak pawn ni.
It will happen that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will sh'ma ·hear obey·.
25 Uithang neh tuca te pakhat la luem rhoi ni. Sathueng loh saelhung bangla cangkong a caak ni. Rhul tah laipi te a buh nah vetih thaehuet mahpawh, ka tlang cim tom ah phop uh voel mahpawh.
The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. Dust will be the serpent’s food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Adonai.
