< Filipi 2 >

1 To pongah nangcae mah Kri ah monghaih, amlunghaih, Muithla angkomhaih, tahmenhaih hoi palungnathaih na tawn o nahaeloe,
If, therefore, there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort arising from love, if any participation of the Spirit, if any affections and mercies,
2 poek amkhraeng ai, maeto hoi maeto amlunghaih, poek anghmonghaih, poek maeto ah amhonghaih hoiah kang hoehaih koep o sak ah.
fulfill my joy, that you be of the same mind, having the same love, of one soul, of one mind;
3 Angzoeh koehhaih palungthin, atho kaom ai ahmin amthang koehhaih palungthin hoiah tih hmuen doeh sah o hmah; kai pongah minawk to hoih kue, tiah poekhaih palungthin to tawn oh loe, maeto hoi maeto khingya oh.
doing nothing in strife and vain glory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
4 Aimah taham khue khen ai ah, minawk taham doeh poek oh.
Consider not each one his own gifts, but each one also the gifts of others.
5 Kri Jesu ah kaom poekhaih palungthin to nangcae khaeah doeh om toeng nasoe:
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,
6 Anih loe Sithaw hoi anghmong, toe Anih loe Sithaw hoi kangvan ah om ai:
who, being in the form of God, did not think it an act of robbery to be equal with God;
7 toe Anih loe angmah hoi angmah ahmin amthang han sah ai, tamna maeto angdoethaih ahmuen ah angdoet moe, kaminawk hoi kanghmong ah ni oh:
but he divested himself by taking the form of a servant, and being made in the likeness of men:
8 kami maeto baktih toengah a oh, duek khoek to lok tahngaih moe, thinglam pongah duek khoek to, tamna baktiah poek pahnaemhaih a tawnh.
and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient even to death, the death, indeed, of the cross.
9 To pongah Sithaw mah doeh anih to kasang ah pakoeh moe, ahmin boih pong kasang koek ahmin to paek:
For which reason God has highly exalted him, and, also, bestowed on him a name that is above every name;
10 van ah kaom hmuennawk boih, long ah kaom hmuennawk boih, long thungah kaom hmuennawk boih mah, Jesu ih ahmin khingyahaih paek hanah khokkhu cangkrawn o ueloe,
that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow of those who are in heaven, and those who are on earth, and those who are under the earth;
11 Ampa Sithaw lensawkhaih amtueng o sak hanah, Jesu Kri loe Angraeng ni, tiah kami boih mah pakha hoi taphong o tih.
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 To pongah palung ih kaminawk, ka hma ah lok na tahngaih o baktih toengah, ka om ai naah doeh lok tahngai oh loe, zithaih hoi tasoeh takuenhaih hoiah nangmacae pahlonghaih tok to sah oh.
So, then, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
13 Sak han na koeh o moe, na sak o hmaek thai hanah, nangcae thungah toksahkung loe Sithaw ni.
for it is God, who, of his good pleasure, works in you both the will and the power to perform.
14 Na sak o ih hmuen boih ah laisaephaih hoi angaekhaih om ai ah sah oh:
Do all things without murmurings and disputings,
15 to tiah ni coek koi kaom ai kami, minawk raihaih paek ai kami, poeksae kami hoi lam amkhraeng acaeng kaminawk salakah, zaehaih tawn ai Sithaw caa ah na om o tih, nihcae salakah long aanghaih kapaek ni, khrah hoi cakaehnawk baktiah na aang o thai tih;
that you may be without reproach and Harmless, the children of God, without blame, in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as luminaries in the world,
16 to tiah hinghaih lok na patawnh o poe nahaeloe, kai loe tidoeh avang ai ah cawn kami na ai, atho kaom ai ah toksah kami doeh na ai, Kri ih ani phak naah anghoehaih hoiah ka om thai tih.
holding forth the word of life, that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain, nor labor in vain.
17 Ue, kai loe na tang o haih bangah toksak haih hoi angbawn haih ah paek ih hmuen baktiah ka oh langlacadoeh, oephaih ka tawnh, kai loe nangcae boih hoi nawnto anghoehaih ka tawnh.
But if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.
18 Nangcae doeh kai baktiah nang hoe o ueloe, kai hoi nawnto nang hoe o toeng tih.
In like manner do you also rejoice, and rejoice with me.
19 Nangcae ih tamthang ka thaih moe, monghaih ka tawnh thai hanah, nangcae khaeah Timote kang patoeh palang thai tih, tiah Angraeng Jesu ah oephaih ka tawnh.
But I trust in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy shortly to you, that I also may be refreshed by knowing your condition;
20 Anih baktiah palung tang hoi nangcae khetzawn kakoeh, kami maeto doeh ka tawn ai.
for I have no one of a kindred spirit who will sincerely care for your condition:
21 Kami boih mah Kri Jesu koehhaih to pakrong o ai, angmacae koehhaih to ni pakrong o boih.
for all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.
22 Capa hoi ampa nawnto toksak hoi baktih toengah, Timote loe kai hoi nawnto kahoih tamthanglok to ka thuih hoi, tito a sak ih hmuen rang hoiah na panoek o boeh.
But you know his approved character, that as a son with a father he has served with me in the gospel.
23 To pongah kai khaeah tih hmuen maw om tih, tito ka panoek naah, anih to nangcae khaeah kang patoeh palang thai tih hmang, tiah oephaih ka tawnh.
Him, therefore, I hope to send immediately, as soon as I know how it may go with me.
24 Angraeng rang hoiah kai doeh akra ai ah nangcae khaeah kang zo thai tih, tiah oephaih ka tawnh.
But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.
25 Toe kam nawk, tok nawnto ka sak haih ampui, misa nawnto ka tuk haih ampui, nangcae ih laicaeh ah kaom, kai khenzawnkung, Epaphrodita to nangcae khaeah kang patoeh han angaih, tiah ka poek.
Yet I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and companion in labor and fellow-soldier, but your apostle, who also ministered to my want,
26 Anih mah nangcae paroeai poek, anih ngannat ti, tiah na thaih o pongah, anih loe palungset.
because he longed after you all, and was much distressed, because you had heard that he was sick.
27 Anih loe duek duih khoek to ngannat; toe Sithaw palungnathaih a nuiah oh; anih khue ai, palungsethaih to palungsethaih hoi thap aep han ai ah, ka nuiah doeh Sithaw palungnathaih oh toeng.
And, indeed, he was sick near to death; but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.
28 To pongah Epaphrodita na hnuk o let naah, nang hoe o thai moe, palung ka sethaih hoih khang hanah, anih ka patoeh han ka koeh aep.
I sent him, therefore, the sooner, that, by seeing him again, you might rejoice, and that I might be the less sorrowful.
29 To pongah anih to Angraeng ah anghoehaih palungthin hoiah talawk oh; to baktih kaminawk to khingya oh:
Receive him, therefore, in the Lord with all joy, and regard such as worthy of honor;
30 anih loe duek duih khoek to Kri ih tok to a sak, anih loe angmah hinghaih to poek ai, kai han nang paek o thai ai ih hmuen to paek hanah tok a sak.
because for the work of the Christ he was near to death, not regarding his life, that he might supply that which was lacking in your service to me.
