< Luka 10 >

1 To pacoengah Angraeng mah kalah kami quisarihtonawk doeh tok paek, a caeh han ih avang hoi ahmuen kruekah, nihcae to kami hnetto ah patoeh.
After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city, and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Anih mah nihcae khaeah, Cang aah han pop parai, toe toksah kaminawk loe tamsi o: lawk tawnkung mah a lawk ah cang aat kaminawk patoeh thai hanah lawkthui oh.
Therefore said he to them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the laborers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest.
3 Khenah, Na caeh o han ih loklam ah, tasuinawk salak ih tuu baktiah ni kang patoeh o.
Go: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Phiosa tabu, pasah hoi khokpanai doeh sin o hmah: loklam ah mi kawbaktih doeh lok tapring o hmah.
Carry neither purse, nor sack, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 Mi kawbaktih im ah doeh na kun o naah, hmaloe koekah hae imthung ah monghaih om nasoe, tiah thui oh.
And into whatever house ye enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house.
6 To imthung ah monghaih koeh kami om nahaeloe, anih nuiah nangcae monghaih to om tih; om ai nahaeloe monghaih to nangmacae khaeah amlaem let tih.
And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 Natoem o ih im ah om o poe ah, ang paek o ih caaknaek to caa oh loe, nae oh: toksahkung loe toksakhaih atho hnuk han krak. Im maeto hoi maeto bangah angpuen o hmah.
And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 Kawbaktih avang ah doeh na kun o naah, nihcae mah na toem o sak nahaeloe, nangcae hmaa ah patoem ih hmuennawk to caa oh.
And into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.
9 To ah nganna kaminawk ngantui o sak ah loe, nihcae khaeah, Sithaw mah siangpahrang ah uk ih prae loe nangcae khaeah phak tom boeh, tiah thui oh.
And heal the sick that are therein, and say to them, The kingdom of God is come nigh to you.
10 Toe vangpui maeto thungah na kun o naah, nangcae toem o sak ai nahaeloe, to vangpui ih lampuinawk thungah caeh oh loe,
But into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 nangcae koeh ai ih amtuengsak hanah, kaicae khokpadae ah kakap, na vangpui thung ih maiphu hae kang takhoek o thuih boeh: toe hae hae kahoihah panoek oh, Sithaw ukhaih prae loe nangcae khaeah phak tom boeh, tiah thui pae oh.
Even the very dust of your city which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding, be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh to you.
12 Kang thuih o, to ni phak naah to vangpui loe, Sodom vangpui pongah kanung kue lokcaekhaih to tong tih.
But I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
13 Korazin, khosak na bing! Bethsaida, khosak na bing! Nanghnik khaeah thacakhaih hoiah sak ih tok baktih toengah Tura hoi Sidon vangpui ah sak nahaeloe, canghnii ah ni buri kahni to angkhuk o ueloe, maiphu pong anghnut hoiah dawnpakhuem o tih boeh.
Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Lokcaekhaih niah nanghnik loe, Tura hoi Sidon vangpui pongah kanung kue lokcaekhaih to na tong hoi tih.
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
15 Nang, Kapernuam, van khoek to nam koeh langlacadoeh, hell thungah ni na khrah tathuk tih. (Hadēs g86)
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell. (Hadēs g86)
16 Nangcae ih lok tahngai kami loe, kai ih lok tahngai kami ah ni oh o; nangcae patoek kami loe kai patoek kami ah ni oh o; kai patoek kami loe kai patoehkung patoek kami ah oh o, tiah a naa.
He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me.
17 Quisarihto kaminawk loe anghoehaih hoiah amlaem o moe, Angraeng, taqawknawk mataeng doeh nang ih ahmin hoiah ka pazawk o, tiah a naa o.
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through thy name.
18 Anih mah nihcae khaeah, Tangphrapuek baktiah van bang hoiah krah tathuk Setan to ka hnuk.
And he said to them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Khenah, Pahui, sataai atit thaihaih hoi thacak misa pazawk thaihaih to kang paek o boeh: tih hmuen mah doeh nganbawh kana na paek o mak ai.
Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Kahoih ai muithlanawk na pazawk o pongah, anghoe o hmah, van prae ah nangcae ih ahmin tarik boeh pongah anghoe oh, tiah a naa.
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
21 To nathuem ah Jesu loe Muithla ah anghoe moe, Aw Pa, long hoi van Angraeng, palungha kami hoi panoekhaih tawn kaminawk khae hoiah hae hmuennawk hae na hawk moe, nawktanawk khaeah nam tuengsak boeh: Ue, Pa, hae loe na mikhnuk ah kahoih hmuen ah oh.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
22 Kam Pa mah hmuennawk boih ang paek boeh: Ampa ai ah loe, mi kawbaktih mah doeh Capa loe mi maw, tito panoek ai; Capa mah ai ah loe, Ampa loe mi maw, tito mi mah doeh panoek ai, Capa mah Anih amtuengsak han koeh ih kami khue mah ai ah loe, mi mah doeh Ampa to panoek ai, tiah a naa.
All things are delivered to me by my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him].
23 Anih a hnukbang kaminawk khaeah angqoi moe, Na hnuk o ih hmuennawk kahnu mik loe tahamhoih:
And he turned himself to [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see.
24 kang thuih o, pop parai tahmaa hoi siangpahrangnawk mah na hnuk o ih hmuennawk to hnuk hanah koeh o, toe hnu o thai ai; na thaih o ih hmuennawk thaih hanah a koeh o, toe thaih o thai ai, tiah a naa.
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen [them]; and to hear the things which ye hear, and have not heard [them].
25 Khenah, daan kop kami maeto loe anih to tanoek hanah angdoet moe, Patukkung, dungzan hinghaih ka hnuk hanah timaw ka sak han? tiah a naa. (aiōnios g166)
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
26 Anih mah to kami khaeah, Kaalok thungah timaw tarik? Kawbangah maw na thaih? tiah a naa.
He said to him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 To kami mah, Na Angraeng Sithaw to palungthin boih, na hinghaih pakhra boih, na thacakhaih boih, na poekhaih boih hoiah palung ah; to pacoengah na imtaeng kami to nangmah ih takpum baktih toengah palung ah, tiah thuih, tiah pathim pae.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.
28 Jesu mah to kami khaeah, Nang pathim ih lok loe amsoem: to tiah sah ah, na hing tih, tiah a naa.
And he said to him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 Toe to kami loe angmah hoi angmah to katoeng kami ah oh han koeh pongah, Jesu khaeah, Ka imtaeng kami loe mi maw? tiah a naa.
But he, willing to justify himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?
30 Jesu mah, Kami maeto loe Jerusalem hoiah Jeriko ah caeh tathuk, to naah kamqunawk hoiah angqum, nihcae mah to kami ih khukbuen to khring pae o moe, anih to kadueh duih khoek to boh o pacoengah, caeh o taak.
And Jesus answering said, A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, who stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead.
31 To naah qaima maeto loe poek ai pui hoiah to loklam ah caeh tathuk: anih mah to kami to hnuk naah, kalah bangah ayae taak.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way; and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 To baktih toengah, Levi kami maeto doeh to loklam ah caeh toeng, anih mah to kami to hnuk naah, kalah bangah a caeh taak ving.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked [on him], and passed by on the other side.
33 Toe Samaria kami maeto loe, to kami ohhaih ahmuen ah caeh: to kami to a hnuk naah, anih nuiah tahmenhaih to tawnh,
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came were he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion [on him],
34 anih khaeah caeh moe, situi hoi misurtui to a nok pae, anih ih ahmaanawk to komh pae pacoengah, anih to angmah ih laa hrang nuiah angthuengsak, to kami to angvin toemhaih im ah caeh haih moe, anih to a khetzawn.
And went to [him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Khawnbang ah to im hoi tacawt naah loe, anih mah phoisa hnetto lak moe, angvin im toepkung hanah a paek, anih khaeah, Hae kami hae kahoihah khen ah, kang zoh let naah, na pasaeng ih phoisa to kang paek boih let han hmang, tiah a naa.
And on the morrow, when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave [them] to the host, and said to him, Take care of him: and whatever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 To tih nahaeloe poek oh, to kami thumto thungah, kawbaktih kami maw kamqunawk mah boh pak palak pongah, angsong sut kami ih imtaeng kami ah om tih, tiah a naa.
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor to him that fell among the robbers?
37 Daan kop kami mah, Boh pakpalak ih kami nuiah tahmenhaih tawn kami, tiah a naa. Jesu mah anih khaeah, Caeh ah loe, to tiah sah ah, tiah a naa.
And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 Nihcae caeh o li naah, avang maeto thungah akun o: Martha, tiah ahmin kaom nongpata maeto mah anih to angmah im ah toemsak.
Now it came to pass, as they were going, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman, named Martha, received him into her house.
39 Nongpata loe Meri, tiah kawk ih amnawk nongpata maeto tawnh, anih loe Jesu ih lok tahngai hanah, Jesu khokkung ah anghnut.
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
40 Toe Martha loe caaknaek to thongh pongah tok kong ai, anih khaeah Martha angzoh moe, Angraeng, kam nawk mah kaimah buengah tok ang saksak, anih to na khet sut han maw? Kai ang bomh hanah na thui pae ah, tiah a naa.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 Jesu mah nongpata khaeah, Martha, Martha, paroeai hmuenmae nuiah mawnhaih na tawnh:
And Jesus answered, and said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious, and troubled about many things:
42 angaihaih hmuen maeto oh vop: Meri mah loe kahoih hmuen to qoih boeh, to hmuen loe anih khae hoiah la ving thai mak ai, tiah a naa.
But one thing is needful; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
