Levitikas 9

1 Ni tazetto na niah Mosi mah Aaron, anih capanawk hoi Israel kaminawk to kawk moe,

And it cometh to pass on the eighth day, Moses hath called for Aaron and for his sons, and for the elders of Israel,

2 Aaron khaeah, Zae angbawnhaih sak hanah maitaw caa maeto, hmai angbawnhaih sak hanah, coek koi kaom ai, tuu tae maeto sin ah loe, Angraeng hmaa ah paek ah.

and he saith unto Aaron, 'Take to thyself a calf, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, perfect ones, and bring near before Jehovah.

3 To pacoengah Israel kaminawk khaeah, Zae angbawnhaih sak hanah maeh caa, atae maeto hmai angbawnhaih sak hanah, saningto kaom, coek koi kaom ai, maitaw caa maeto hoi tuu tae maeto paek ah;

'And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a calf, and a lamb, sons of a year, perfect ones, for a burnt-offering,

4 to pacoengah Angraeng hmaa ah, angdaeh angbawnhaih sak hanah, maitaw tae maeto hoi tuu tae maeto, situi hoi atok tangcae takaw to paek ah; vaihniah Angraeng nangcae khaeah amtueng tih, tiah a naa.

and a bullock and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah, and a present mixed with oil; for to-day Jehovah hath appeared unto you.'

5 Mosi mah paek ih lok baktih toengah, hmuennawk to rangpui amkhuenghaih thok hmaa ah a sin o; kaminawk boih a taengah caeh o moe, Angraeng hmaa ah angdoet o.

And they take that which Moses hath commanded unto the front of the tent of meeting, and all the company draw near and stand before Jehovah;

6 To naah Mosi mah, Nangcae khaeah Angraeng lensawkhaih amtueng hanah, Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah sah oh, tiah a naa.

and Moses saith, 'This [is] the thing which Jehovah hath commanded; do [it], and the honour of Jehovah doth appear unto you.'

7 Mosi mah Aaron khaeah, Hmaicam kung ah caeh ah, zae angbawnhaih, hmai angbawnhaih to sah ah loe, nangmah hoi nangmah ih kaminawk zaehaih loih o thai hanah angbawnhaih to sah ah, tiah a naa.

And Moses saith unto Aaron, 'Draw near unto the altar, and make thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people, and make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah hath commanded.'

8 To pongah Aaron mah hmaicam ah caeh moe, angmah ih zae angbawnhaih to sak hanah maitaw caa maeto a boh.

And Aaron draweth near unto the altar, and slaughtereth the calf of the sin-offering, which [is] for himself;

9 Aaron capanawk mah anih khaeah athii sin pae o, anih mah athii thungah a banpazung to nup pacoengah, hmaicam nuiah kaom takiinawk thungah a thaengh; kamtlai athii to hmaicam kung ah a kraih.

and the sons of Aaron bring the blood near unto him, and he dippeth his finger in the blood, and putteth [it] on the horns of the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar;

10 Toe zae angbawnhaih athawknawk, pakaenawk, pathin nuiah kaom athawknawk loe, Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, hmaicam nuiah hmai pakhaem.

and the fat, and the kidneys, and the redundance of the liver, of the sin-offering, he hath made a perfume on the altar, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses;

11 Angan hoi ahin loe, a ohhaih im tasa bangah hmai hoiah a qoeng.

and the flesh and the skin he hath burnt with fire, at the outside of the camp.

12 To pacoengah hmai hoiah sak ih angbawnhaih moi to a boh; Aaron capanawk mah athii to paek o, anih mah hmaicam taeng boih ah haeh.

And he slaughtereth the burnt-offering, and the sons of Aaron have presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about;

13 Nihcae mah angbawnhaih moi angan hoi alu to paek o, anih mah hmaicam nuiah hmai hoiah qoeng.

and the burnt-offering they have presented unto him, by its pieces, and the head, and he maketh perfume on the altar;

14 Takoh hoi akhoknawk loe tui hoi pasaeh pacoengah, hmaicam nuiah hmai angbawnhaih sak hanah hmai hoiah pakhaem.

and he washeth the inwards and the legs, and maketh perfume for the burnt-offering on the altar.

15 To pacoengah kaminawk mah angbawnhaih sak han paek ih hmuen to Aaron mah sinh; kaminawk zaehaih loih o thai hanah angbawnhaih maeh to a sin moe, boh pacoengah, hmaloe ih baktih toengah, zae angbawnhaih sak hanah a paek.

And he bringeth near the offering of the people, and taketh the goat of the sin-offering which [is] for the people, and slaughtered it, and maketh it a sin-offering, like the first;

16 Hmai angbawnhaih hmuen to a sin moe, a sakhaih atawk baktih toengah a sak.

and he bringeth near the burnt-offering, and maketh it, according to the ordinance;

17 Cang angbawnhaih a sin moe, ban tamsum maeto a lak pacoengah, hmaicam nuiah, akhawnbang hmai angbawnhaih ahmuen taengah hmai hoiah a qoeng.

and he bringeth near the present, and filleth his palm with it, and maketh perfume on the altar, apart from the burnt-offering of the morning.

18 Kaminawk han, angdaeh angbawnhaih sak pae hanah, maitaw tae hoi tuu tae doeh a boh; Aaron ih capanawk mah athii to paek o, anih mah hmaicam taeng boih ah haeh.

And he slaughtereth the bullock and the ram, a sacrifice of the peace-offerings, which [are] for the people, and sons of Aaron present the blood unto him (and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about),

19 Toe maitaw tae hoi tuu tae ih athawknawk, tamai thawk, takoh thung ih athawknawk, pakaenawk hoi pathin nui ih athawk,

and the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the fat tail, and the covering [of the inwards], and the kidneys, and the redundance above the liver,

20 to baktih athawknawk to saoek nuiah koeng pacoengah, Aaron mah athawknawk to hmaicam nuiah hmai pakhaem.

and they set the fat on the breasts, and he maketh perfume with the fat on the altar;

21 Mosi mah paek ih lok baktih toengah, Aaron mah saoek hoi bantang palaeng to, ahaek moe, Angraeng hmaa ah ahaek angbawnhaih to paek.

and the breasts, and the right leg hath Aaron waved — a wave-offering before Jehovah, as He hath commanded Moses.

22 Aaron mah rangpui kaminawk khaeah ban payangh moe, nihcae to tahamhoihaih a paek pacoengah, anih loe zae angbawnhaih ahmuen, angdaeh angbawnhaih ahmuen hoiah anghum tathuk.

And Aaron lifteth up his hand towards the people, and blesseth them, and cometh down from making the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

23 To pacoengah Mosi hoi Aaron loe rangpui amkhuenghaih kahni im thungah caeh hoi; amlaem hoi let pacoengah, kaminawk to tahamhoihaih a paek hoi; to naah Angraeng lensawkhaih kaminawk boih nuiah amtueng.

And Moses goeth in — Aaron also — unto the tent of meeting, and they come out, and bless the people, and the honour of Jehovah appeareth unto all the people;

24 Angraeng hmaa hoiah hmai to tacawt moe, hmaicam nui ih hmai hoiah sak ih angbawnhaih hoi athawknawk to hmai mah kangh boih; to hmuen to kaminawk boih mah hnuk o naah, hang o moe, long ah akuep o.

and fire cometh out from before Jehovah, and consumeth on the altar the burnt-offering, and the fat; and all the people see, and cry aloud, and fall on their faces.
