< Isaiah 65 >

1 Kai khae hni vai ai kaminawk khaeah kang phong pae moe, kai pakrong ai kaminawk mah ang hnuk o boeh; ka hmin hoi kawk vai ai ih prae kami khaeah, Kai hae na khen oh, na khen oh, tiah ka naa.
I have been ready to give an answer to those who did not make prayer to me; I have been offering myself to those who were not searching for me; I said, Here am I, here am I, to a nation which gave no respect to my name.
2 A poek o haih palungthin baktih toengah, sethaih loklam pazui kaminawk, lokaek thaih kaminawk nuiah athun qui ban ka payangh thuih,
All day my hands have been stretched out to an uncontrolled people, who go in an evil way, after the purposes of their hearts;
3 to baktih kaminawk loe takha thungah hmuen tathlanghaih to sak o moe, boeng ai ah kai palungphuisak hanah ka hmaa ah, thlung hoi sak ih hmaicam nuiah moi angbawnhaih to a sak o;
A people who make me angry every day, making offerings in gardens, and burning perfumes on bricks.
4 nihcae loe taprong ah anghnut o moe, taprong ah iih o; okmoi to caak o moe, panuet thok moitui to laom thungah suek o,
Who are seated in the resting-places of the dead, and by night are in the secret places; who take pig's flesh for food, and have the liquid of disgusting things in their vessels.
5 nihcae mah, Kamhoe ah angdoe ah, ka taengah anghnai hmah; kai loe nang pongah ka ciim kue, tiah thuih o. To baktih kaminawk loe ka hnah hanah hmaikhue ah oh o moe, athun qui angqong hmai baktiah oh o.
Who say, Keep away, do not come near me, for fear that I make you holy: these are a smoke in my nose, a fire burning all day.
6 Khenah, ka hmaa ah tarik boeh pongah, ka om duem mak ai; sak ih atho ka pathok let han; nihcae ih saoek nuiah sakhaih atho ka pathok pae han,
See, it is recorded before me, says the Lord: I will not keep back my hand, till I have sent punishment,
7 nangcae zaehaih hoi nam panawk zaehaih to ka pathok boih let han; nihcae loe mae nuiah hmuihoih tui to thlaek o moe, maesomnawk nuiah ka hmin to panuet kaom ah sak o pongah, canghnii ah a sak o ih hmuennawk to nihcae ih saoek nuiah ka tah pae han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
For their sins and the sins of their fathers, who were burning perfumes on the mountains, and saying evil things against me on the hills: so I will take the measure of their sins, and will send the punishment for them into their breast.
8 Angraeng mah hae tiah thuih; Misurtui suekhaih tabu thungah misurtui oh vop pongah, amrosak hmah, tahamhoihaih a thungah oh vop, tiah minawk mah thuih o baktih toengah, ka tamnanawk pongah, to kaminawk to kam rosak boih mak ai.
This is the word of the Lord: As the new wine is seen in the grapes, and they say, Do not send destruction on it, for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants, in order that I may not put an end to them all.
9 Jakob thung hoiah caanawk to ka tacawtsak moe, Judah thung hoiah kai ih mae qawktoep kami to ka tacawtsak han; ka qoih ih kaminawk mah maenawk to toep o ueloe, ka tamnanawk loe to ah om o tih.
And I will take a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah one who will have my mountains for a heritage: and the people I have taken to be mine will have it for themselves, and my servants will have their resting-place there.
10 Sharon loe kai pakrong kaminawk hanah, tuu pacahhaih ahmuen ah om ueloe, Akhor azawn loe maitaw prathaih ahmuen ah om tih.
And Sharon will be a grass-land for the flocks, and the valley of Achor a resting-place for the herds: for my people whose hearts have been turned back to me.
11 Toe nangcae loe Angraeng pahnawt kami, Kai ih kaciim mae pahnet kami, Gad kaminawk ih sithaw khaeah caboi patoemh kami, Meni sithaw han angbawnhaih tui paek kami ah na oh o.
But as for you who have given up the Lord, who have no care for my holy mountain, who get ready a table for Chance, and make offerings of mixed wine to Fate;
12 To pongah nangcae to ka kroek moe, sumsen khaeah kang paek o han, nangcae loe hum boih hanah nam tueng o sut tih; tipong ah tih nahaeloe kang kawk o naah nang pathim o ai, lok kang thuih o naah na tahngai o ai; ka hmaa ah kasae hmuen na sak o moe, ka koeh ai ih hmuen to na qoih o.
Your fate will be the sword, and you will all go down to death: because when my voice came to you, you made no answer; you did not give ear to my word; but you did what was evil in my eyes, desiring what was not pleasing to me.
13 To pongah Angraeng Sithaw mah hae tiah thuih; Khenah, ka tamnanawk loe caa o tih, toe nangcae loe zok amthlam ah na om o tih; khenah, ka tamnanawk loe nae o tih, toe nangcae loe tui anghae ah na om o tih; khenah, ka tamnanawk loe anghoe o tih, toe nangcae loe azathaih hoiah na om o tih.
For this cause says the Lord God, My servants will have food, but you will be in need of food: my servants will have drink, but you will be dry: my servants will have joy, but you will be shamed:
14 Khenah, ka tamnanawk loe palung anghoehaih hoiah laa to sah o tih, toe nangcae loe poek patangkhanghaih hoiah na qah o tih, palungboeng loiah na hang o tih.
My servants will make songs in the joy of their hearts, but you will be crying for sorrow, and making sounds of grief from a broken spirit.
15 Ka qoih ih kaminawk khaeah na hmin tangoeng hanah na caeh o taak sut tih; Angraeng Sithaw mah nangcae to hum tih, toe a tamnanawk loe ahmin kalah hoiah kawk tih.
And your name will become a curse to my people, and the Lord God will put you to death, and give his servants another name:
16 Canghnii ih raihaihnawk to pahnet boeh moe, ka hmaa hoiah anghmat o boih boeh pongah, long nuiah angmah hoi angmah tahamhoihaih paek kami loe loktang Sithaw rang hoiah tahamhoihaih to paek tih; long ah lokkamhaih sah kami loe loktang Sithaw rang hoiah lokkamhaih to sah tih.
So that he who is requesting a blessing will make use of the name of the true God, and he who takes an oath will do so by the true God; because the past troubles are gone out of mind, and because they are covered from my eyes.
17 Khenah, van kangtha hoi long kangtha to ka sak; hmaloe ih hmuennawk loe poek let mak ai boeh, palung thungah doeh om mak ai boeh.
For see, I am making a new heaven and a new earth: and the past things will be gone completely out of mind.
18 Ka sak ih hmuen to oep oh loe, dungzan ah anghoe oh; khenah, Jerusalem loe anghoe moe, a thung ih kaminawk doeh anghoe o toeng hanah ka sak.
But men will be glad and have joy for ever in what I am making; for I am making Jerusalem a delight, and her people a joy.
19 Jerusalem nuiah anghoehaih katawnh, kaimah ih kaminawk khaeah kang hoe han boeh; vangpui thungah qahhaih hoi hanghaih loknawk to thaih mak ai boeh.
And I will be glad over Jerusalem, and have joy in my people: and the voice of weeping will no longer be sounding in her, or the voice of grief.
20 To vangpui thungah loe nawkta om mak ai, saning koep ai mitong doeh om mak ai boeh; saning cumvaito naah dueh kami loe, nawkta nathuem ah dueh kami baktiah poek o tih; toe saning cumvaito hing ai ah dueh kami loe tangoenghaih tongh kami baktiah poek o tih.
No longer will there be there a child whose days are cut short, or an old man whose days have not come to their full measure: for the young man at his death will be a hundred years old, and he whose life is shorter than a hundred years will seem as one cursed.
21 Nihcae mah im to sah o ueloe, om o haih tih; misur takha to sah o ueloe, athaih to caa o tih.
And they will be building houses and living in them; planting vine-gardens and getting the fruit of them.
22 A sak o ih im to minawk kalah mah om o haih mak ai, a thling o ih misur to minawk kalah mah caa pae o mak ai boeh; kai ih kaminawk hinghaih loe thing hinghaih baktiah om tih boeh; ka qoih ih kaminawk loe angmacae ban hoi sak ih hmuen to saning kasawkah caa o tih boeh.
They will no longer be building for the use of others, or planting for others to have the fruit: for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, and my loved ones will have joy in full measure in the work of their hands.
23 Azom pui ah toksah kami om mak ai boeh, raihaih paek caanawk doeh tapen o mak ai boeh; angmacae hoi a caanawk loe, Angraeng tahamhoihaih hnu kami ah om o tih boeh.
Their work will not be for nothing, and they will not give birth to children for destruction; for they are a seed to whom the Lord has given his blessing, and their offspring will be with them.
24 Nihcae mah kawk ai naah, ka oi pae moe, lok a thuih o li naah, ka tahngaih pae han boeh.
And before they make their request I will give an answer, and while they are still making prayer to me, I will give ear.
25 Tasui hoi tuuca rawkcak nawnto caa hoi tih, kaipui loe maitaw tae baktiah caphaeh to caa tih boeh; toe maiphu loe pahui ih buh ah om tih. Kai ih kaciim mae boih ah loe maeto hoi maeto nganbawh kana paekhaih hoi amrohaih to om mak ai boeh, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
The wolf and the lamb will take their food together, and the lion will make a meal of grass like the ox: but dust will be the snake's food. There will be no cause of pain or destruction in all my holy mountain, says the Lord.
