1 Aw caa kak, nawkta tapen vai ai nang, laa to sah ah; caa tapenhaih kana panoek vai ai nang, anghoehaih hoiah laa to sah loe hang ah; sava sah nongpata pongah pahnawt sut ih nongpata mah caa pop kue ah sak boeh, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
Rejoice, you barren that bear not; break forth and cry, you that do not travail: for more are the children of the desolate than of her that has a husband: for the Lord has said,
2 Nangmah ih kahni im to kawksak ah loe, na imkhaan pakaahaih kahni to kakawk ah payueng ah; paawt hmah; quinawk to azuk ah loe komhaih tungnawk to kacakah thling ah.
Enlarge the place of your tent, and of your curtains: fix [the pins], spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pins;
3 Nang loe banqoi bantang na pung tih; na caanawk mah Gentel kaminawk to qawk ah toep o ueloe, kapong sut nihcae ih vangpuinawk ah kho na sah o tih.
spread forth [your tent] yet to the right and the left: for your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and you shall make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Zii hmah, azathaih na tong mak ai; mikhmaisethaih to zii hmah; azathaih na tongh mak ai; na qoeng li nathuem ih azathaih to na pahnet tih boeh, lamhmai ah na oh nathuem ih kasaethuihaih doeh na panoek mak ai boeh.
Fear not, because you has been put to shame, neither be confounded, because you was reproached: for you shall forget your former shame, and shall no more at all remember the reproach of your widowhood.
5 Nang Sahkung loe na sava ah oh; anih ih ahmin loe misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng, tiah oh; nang akrangkung loe Ciimcai Israel Sithaw ah oh moe, anih loe long pum ukkung Sithaw, tiah kawk o.
For [it is] the Lord that made you; the Lord of hosts is his name: and he that delivered you, he is the God of Israel, [and] shall be called [so] by the whole earth.
6 Pahnawt sut ih thendoeng zu, pahnawt sut pacoengah palungset hoiah kaom nongpata to kawk let baktih toengah, Angraeng mah na kawk let tih, tiah na Sithaw mah thuih.
The Lord has not called you as a deserted and faint-hearted woman, nor as a woman hated from [her] youth, says your God.
7 Nang to nawnetta thungah ni kang pahnawt, toe kalen parai tahmenhaih hoiah kang lak let han.
For a little while I left you: but with great mercy will I have compassion upon you.
8 Palungphui parai pongah nawnetta thung mikhmai kang hawk tak; toe na nuiah dungzan tahmenhaih hoi palungnathaih ka tawnh let han, tiah nang akrangkung Angraeng mah thuih.
In a little wrath I turned away my face from you; but with everlasting mercy will I have compassion upon you, says the Lord that delivers you.
9 Hae loe kai hanah Noah dung nathuem ah kaom hmuen baktiah oh; Noah dung nathuem ih baktiah tui mah long hae uem let mak ai boeh, tiah lokkamhaih sak baktih toengah, na nuiah palungphuihaih to ka tawn mak ai, kang zoeh mak ai boeh, tiah lokkamhaih ka sak boeh.
From the time of the water of Noe this is my [purpose]: as I sware to him at that time, [saying] of the earth, I will no more be angry with you, neither when you are threatened,
10 Maenawk to anghuenh o moe, maesomnawk angthui o langlacadoeh, nang kang palunghaih loe anghmaa mak ai, angdaeh hanah ka sak ih lokkamhaih doeh anghmaa mak ai, tiah na nuiah tahmenhaih tawnkung Angraeng mah thuih.
shall the mountains depart, nor shall your hills be removed: so neither shall my mercy fail you, nor shall the covenant of your peace be at all removed: for the Lord [who is] gracious to you has spoken [it].
11 Aw patangkhanghaih hoiah kaom Jerusalem nang, takhi sae mah ang hmuh phaeng boeh, monghaih tawn ai nang, khenah, rong congca thlung kathim hoiah kang pathoep moe, nang doethaih ahmuen to sapphire thlung hoiah ka sak let han.
Afflicted and outcast you has not been comforted: behold, I [will] prepare carbuncle [for] your stones, and sapphire for your foundations;
12 Na imphu to thlung kathim hoiah ka sak moe, na khongkhanawk to rong kampha thlung hoiah ka sak han, tapangnawk doeh atho kana thlung hoiah kang sak pae han.
and I will make your buttresses jasper, and your gates crystal, and your border precious stones.
13 Na caanawk loe Angraeng mah patuk ih kami ah om o boih tih, to tiah nihcae loe pop parai monghaih hoiah koi o tih boeh.
And [I will cause] all your sons [to be] taught of God, and your children [to be] in great peace.
14 Nang loe toenghaih hoiah kacakah na om tih; pacaekthlaekhaih mah na caehtaak ueloe, zithaih na tawn mak ai boeh; zitthok hmuennawk doeh na taengah angzo mak ai boeh.
And you shall be built in righteousness: abstain from injustice, and you shall not fear; and trembling shall not come near you.
15 Khenah, nang tuk hanah nihcae nawnto amkhueng o cadoeh, kai mah ka tuhsak ai; mi kawbaktih doeh nang tuh kami loe thazok ueloe, nang khaeah angpaek o lat tih.
Behold, strangers shall come to you by me, and shall sojourn with you, and shall run to you for refuge.
16 Khenah, hmai amngaeh hanah hmutkung, maiphaw sakhaih sum sinkung, sumdaengkung hoi hmuenmae parokung doeh kaimah ni ka sak.
Behold, I have created you, not as the coppersmith blowing coals, and bringing out a vessel [fit] for work; but I have created you, not for ruin, that [I] should destroy [you].
17 Nang tuk hanah sak ih maiphaw loe azom pui ah om tih, nang lokcaek hanah zaehaih net pahninawk doeh sung o tih. Hae loe Angraeng ih tamnanawk mah toep han koi qawk ah oh, nihcae toenghaih loe kai khae hoiah ni angzo tih, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
I will not suffer any weapon formed against you to prosper; and every voice that shall rise up against you for judgment, you shall vanquish them all; and your adversaries shall be [condemned] thereby. There is an inheritance to them that serve the Lord, and you shall be righteous before me, says the Lord.
