Paul an apostle of Christ Jesus through [the] will of God according to [the] promise of life in Christ Jesus
2 palung ih ka capa, Timote khaeah, Ampa Sithaw, aicae Angraeng Kri Jesu khae hoi ih tahmenhaih, palungnathaih hoi monghaih om nasoe.
To Timothy [my] beloved child: Grace, mercy, [and] peace from God [the] Father and Christ Jesus the Lord of us.
3 Kam panawk mah bok o ih baktih toengah, poekcimhaih hoiah a tok ka sak pae ih Sithaw khaeah oephaih ka tawnh, aqum athun apet ai ah nang han lawk kang thuih pae;
Thankful I am to God, whom I serve from [my] forefathers with a pure conscience, as unceasingly I have the of you remembrance in the prayers of mine night and day
4 mikkhraetui na longhaih to ka pahnet ai, anghoehaih hoiah ka koi thai hanah, nang hnuk han ka koeh parai;
longing you to see, having yourself recalled your tears, so that with joy I may be filled
5 nang thungah kaom tanghaih tangtang loe nam sae Loisi hoi nam no Euni khaeah oh hmaloe, tito ka panoek, to tanghaih loe nang thungah doeh oh, tiah ka tang.
remembrance (having taken *N+kO) of the within you sincere faith, which dwelt first in the grandmother of you Lois and in the mother of you Eunice, I have been persuaded now that also [it is] in you.
6 Na nuiah ka ban koenghaih hoiah na hnuk ih Sithaw tangqum to na patoh hanah kang thaisak.
For this reason I remind you to kindle anew the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of the hands of mine;
7 Sithaw mah aicae han zithaih palungthin to paek ai; toe thacakhaih, amlunghaih, kahoih poekhaihnawk ni paek.
Not for has given us God a spirit of cowardice but of power and of love and of self-control.

Not therefore you may be ashamed of the testimony of the Lord of us nor of me myself the prisoner of Him, but do suffer together for the gospel according to [the] power of God
9 Anih loe aicae toksakhaih rang hoiah na ai, long om ai nathuem hoi Kri Jesu ah aicae han paek ih, angmah ih atimhaih hoi tahmenhaih baktih toengah ni, aicae hae pahlong moe, kaciim kawkhaih hoiah ang kawk, (aiōnios g166)
the [One who] having saved us and having called [us] with a calling holy, not according to the works of us but according to [His] own purpose and grace which having been given us in Christ Jesus before time eternal, (aiōnios g166)
10 toe vaihi loe aicae pahlongkung Jesu Kri amtuenghaih hoiah panoeksak boeh, anih mah duekhaih to phraek moe, hinghaih to paek boeh, kahoih tamthanglok rang hoiah anghma thai ai aanghaih thungah a caeh haih boeh:
having been made manifest also now through the appearing of the Savior of us Christ Jesus, having abolished indeed death, having brought to light however life and immortality through the gospel,
11 to kahoih tamthanglok to panoeksak hanah, kai hae tamthanglok thuikung, patoeh ih kami, Gentelnawk patukkung ah ang suek.
to which was appointed I myself a herald and an apostle and a teacher (of gentiles; *KO)
12 To pongah ni hae baktih patangkhanghaih hae ka tongh: toe ka zat ai: mi maw ka tang, tito ka panoek, anih khaeah kang aap baktih toengah, Anih loe to na Ni phak karoek to pakuem thaih, tiah oephaih ka tawnh.
For this reason also these things I suffer, But not I am ashamed; I know for in whom I have believed and I have been persuaded that able He is the entrusted deposit of mine to guard for that [very] day.
13 Tanghaih hoi amlunghaih loe Kri Jesu ah oh, tiah panoekhaih hoiah kai khae hoi na thaih ih katoeng patukhaih lok to kacakah patawn ah.

14 Nang khaeah kang aap ih kahoih hmuen to aicae thungah kaom Kacai Muithla rang hoiah pakuem ah.
The good (entrusted deposit *N+kO) do keep through [the] Spirit Holy who is dwelling in us.
15 Asia prae ah kaom kaminawk boih mah kai ang caeh o taak, tito na panoek; nihcae thungah Phygellu hoi Hermoge athum hoi.
You know this, that turned away from me all those in Asia, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.
16 Angraeng mah Onesiphora imthung takoh nuiah palungnathaih tawn nasoe; anih mah loe tha ang paek toepsoep, sumqui hoi pathlet ah ka oh naah doeh na zat haih ai:
would grant mercy the Lord to the of Onesiphorus household; because often me he refreshed and the chain of mine not (he was ashamed of, *N+kO)
17 Rom vangpui ah ka oh naah, anih mah kai hnu ai karoek to ang pakrong.
But having arrived in Rome (earnestly *N+kO) he sought out me and found [me];
18 To na Niah anih mah Angraeng palungnathaih hnuk thai hanah, Angraeng khaeah lawk ka thuih pae: Efisa vangpui ah ka oh naah, kawkruk maw anih mah kai ang khetzawn, tito kahoih ah na panoek.
would grant unto him the Lord to find mercy from [the] Lord in that [very] day! And how much in Ephesus he served very well you yourself know.
