1 Tamandani Yehova. Nʼkwabwino kwambiri kuyimba nyimbo zamatamando kwa Mulungu wathu, nʼkokondweretsa ndi koyenera kumutamanda!
Alleluya. Herie ye the Lord, for the salm is good; heriyng be myrie, and fair to oure God.
2 Yehova akumanga Yerusalemu; Iye akusonkhanitsa amʼndende a Israeli.
The Lord schal bilde Jerusalem; and schal gadere togidere the scateryngis of Israel.
3 Akutsogolera anthu osweka mtima ndi kumanga mabala awo.
Which Lord makith hool men contrit in herte; and byndith togidere the sorewes of hem.
4 Amadziwa chiwerengero cha nyenyezi, ndipo iliyonse amayitchula dzina.
Which noumbrith the multitude of sterris; and clepith names to alle tho.
5 Yehova ndi wamkulu ndi wamphamvu kwambiri; nzeru zake zilibe malire.
Oure Lord is greet, and his vertu is greet; and of his wisdom is no noumbre.
6 Yehova amagwiriziza anthu odzichepetsa, koma amagwetsa pansi anthu oyipa.
The Lord takith vp mylde men; forsothe he makith low synneris `til to the erthe.
7 Imbirani Yehova ndi mayamiko; imbani nyimbo kwa Mulungu ndi pangwe.
Bifore synge ye to the Lord in knoulechyng; seye ye salm to oure God in an harpe.
8 Iye amaphimba mlengalenga ndi mitambo; amapereka mvula ku dziko lapansi ndi kumeretsa udzu mʼmapiri.
Which hilith heuene with cloudis; and makith redi reyn to the erthe. Which bryngith forth hei in hillis; and eerbe to the seruice of men.
9 Iye amapereka chakudya kwa ngʼombe ndi kwa ana a makwangwala pamene akulira chakudya.
Which yyueth mete to her werk beestis; and to the briddys of crowis clepinge hym.
10 Chikondwerero chake sichili mʼmphamvu za kavalo, kapena mʼmiyendo ya anthu amphamvu.
He schal not haue wille in the strengthe of an hors; nether it schal be wel plesaunt to hym in the leggis of a man.
11 Yehova amakondwera ndi amene amamuopa, amene chiyembekezo chawo chili mʼchikondi chake chosasinthika.
It is wel plesaunt to the Lord on men that dreden hym; and in hem that hopen on his mercy.
12 Lemekeza Yehova, iwe Yerusalemu; tamanda Mulungu wako, iwe Ziyoni,
Jerusalem, herie thou the Lord; Syon, herie thou thi God.
13 pakuti Iye amalimbitsa mipiringidzo ya zipata zako ndi kudalitsa anthu ako mwa iwe.
For he hath coumfortid the lockis of thi yatis; he hath blessid thi sones in thee.
14 Iye amabweretsa mtendere mʼmalire mwako ndi kukukhutitsa ndi ufa wa tirigu wosalala.
Which hath set thi coostis pees; and fillith thee with the fatnesse of wheete.
15 Iyeyo amapereka lamulo pa dziko lapansi; mawu ake amayenda mwaliwiro.
Which sendith out his speche to the erthe; his word renneth swiftli.
16 Amagwetsa chisanu ngati ubweya ndi kumwaza chipale ngati phulusa.
Which yyueth snow as wolle; spredith abrood a cloude as aische.
17 Amagwetsa matalala ngati miyala. Kodi ndani angathe kupirira kuzizira kwake?
He sendith his cristal as mussels; who schal suffre bifore the face of his cooldnesse?
18 Amatumiza mawu ake ndipo chisanucho chimasungunuka; amawombetsa mphepo ndipo madzi amayenda.
He schal sende out his word, and schal melte tho; his spirit schal blowe, and watris schulen flowe.
19 Iye anawulula mawu ake kwa Yakobo, malamulo ake ndi zophunzitsa zake kwa Israeli.
Which tellith his word to Jacob; and hise riytfulnessis and domes to Israel.
20 Sanachitepo zimenezi kwa mtundu wina uliwonse wa anthu; anthu enawo sadziwa malamulo ake. Tamandani Yehova.
He dide not so to ech nacioun; and he schewide not hise domes to hem.
