1 ᎯᏍᎩᏁᏃ ᎨᏒ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎤᏤᎷᎯᏒᎩ, ᎠᎩᎪᎲᎩᏃ ᏃᏈᏏ ᎦᎸᎶᎢ ᏓᏳᏓᎴᏅᎩ ᎡᎶᎯᏃ ᎤᏬᏥᎸᎩ; ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ [ ᏃᏈᏏ ] ᎠᏥᏕᎸᎩ ᎠᏍᏚᎢᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏫᎾᏍᏛᎾ ᎠᏔᎴᏒ ᎠᏍᏚᎢᏍᏙᏗ. (Abyssos g12)
AND the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth; and to him was given the key of the pit of the abyss of hell. (Abyssos g12)
2 ᎠᎴ ᏫᎾᏍᏛᎾ ᎠᏔᎴᏒ ᎤᏍᏚᎢᏒᎩ, ᏧᎦᏒᏍᏗᏃ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᏔᎴᏒ ᏓᏳᎵᏌᎳᏓᏅᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎡᏆ ᏔᎷᎩᏍᎩ ᎬᎾᏬᏙᏗᏱ ᏥᏚᎦᏒᏍᏙᎢ; ᏅᏙᏃ ᎢᎦ ᎡᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎦᏃᎴᏍᎬ ᎤᏜᏓᏅᏛ ᏚᎵᏏᎲᏒᎩ ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎬᎩ ᏧᎦᏒᏍᏗ ᎠᏔᎴᏒ ᏙᏗᎴᎲᏍᎬᎢ. (Abyssos g12)
And he opened the pit of the abyss; and a smoke ascended out of the pit like the smoke of a vast furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos g12)
3 ᏚᎦᏒᏍᏛᏃ ᏓᏳᏂᏄᎪᏨᎩ ᎥᎴ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎶᎯ ᏚᏂᏰᎵᏒᎩ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎨᏥᏁᎸᎩ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏗᏂᏙᎬ ᎠᎾᏓᏨᏯᏍᏗᏍᎩ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᏧᏂᎭ.
And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and power was given to them, such power as the scorpions of the earth possess.
4 ᎠᎴ ᎨᏥᏁᏤᎸᎩ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎤᏅᏁᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎧᏁᏍᎦ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎤᏰᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᎥᏉᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎢᏤ ᎤᏰᎾᎥᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᎥᏉ ᏕᏡᎬᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩᏉᏍᎩᏂ Ꮎ ᎤᏅᏒ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵ ᎤᏓᏰᎸᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏄᏂᏰᎸᏒᎾ ᏗᏂᎬᏓᎨᏂ.
And it was told them, Hurt not the grass of the earth, nor any herb, nor any tree, but only those men who have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏥᏁᎸᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏂᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏧᏂᎩᎸᏗᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᎯᏍᎩ ᎢᏯᏅᏙ; ᎤᎾᏓᎩᎸᏗᏃ ᎨᏒ ᎦᏙᎬ ᎠᏓᏨᏯᏍᏗᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᏓᎩᎸᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ ᏴᎾ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎤᏪᏨᏯ.
And it was given them in charge that they should not kill these men outright, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment is as the torment of a scorpion when he striketh a man.
6 ᎾᎯᏳᏃ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏂᏲᎮᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᎤᏂᏩᏛᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏚᎵᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏧᏂᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎾᎵᏘᎡᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall earnestly desire to die, and death shall fly from them.
7 ᎥᎴᏃ ᎤᎾᏙᏢᏒ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ, ᏐᏈᎵ ᏓᏅᏩ ᎤᏁᏅᏍᏗᏱ ᏥᎨᎦᏛᏅᎢᏍᏙᎢ; ᏚᏄᎵᏍᏚᎸᎩᏃ ᏗᎵᏍᏚᎶ ᎠᏕᎸᏓᎶᏁᎨ ᏗᎪᏢᏔᏅᎯ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ, ᏚᎾᎧᏛᏃ ᏴᏫ ᏚᎾᎧᏛ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ.
And the figures of the locusts were like horses equipped for war; and upon their heads there were as crowns, like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 ᎠᎴ ᏚᏂᏍᏗᏰᎬᎩ ᎠᏂᎨᏴ ᏥᏚᏂᏍᏗᏰᎦ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᏂᏄᏙᎬ ᏢᏓᏥ ᎤᏂᏃᏕᎾ ᏥᏓᏂᏄᏙᎦ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ.
And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions.
9 ᎠᎴ ᏚᎾᏓᏁᏣᏍᏚᎸᎩ ᏔᎷᎩᏍᎩ ᏗᎪᏢᏔᏅᎯ ᏗᏓᏁᏣᏍᏚᎶ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ; ᏗᏂᏃᎨᏂᏃ ᏚᏃᏴᎬ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏐᏈᎵ ᏓᏆᎴᎷ ᏥᏓᏂᎾᏏᏂᏐ ᏓᎿᎭᏩ ᏣᎾᎢᏐ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ.
And they had breastplates, as breastplates of iron: and the sound of their wings was as the rumbling of chariots of many horses rushing to battle.
10 ᏗᏂᏙᎬᏃ ᏗᎾᏓᏨᏯᏍᎩ ᏥᎩ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏓᏂᏂᏓᏛᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏓᏨᏯᏍᏙᏗ ᏗᏂᏙᎬ ᏚᏙᏢᏒᎩ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᎲᎩ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏧᏅᏁᏗᏱ ᏴᏫ ᎯᏍᎩ ᎢᏯᏅᏙ.
And they had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and they had power to hurt men five months.
11 ᎠᎴ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎤᏂᎧᎲᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏫᎾᏍᏛᎾ ᎠᏔᎴᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᏂᏈᎷ ᎤᏂᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎠᏆᏙᎾ ᏚᏙᎥ, ᎠᏂᎪᎢᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏂᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏉᎵᏯᏂ ᏚᏙᎥ. (Abyssos g12)
And they had over them a king, the angel of the abyss of hell, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Appollyon. (Abyssos g12)
12 ᏌᏉ ᎤᏲ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎶᏐᏅ; ᎬᏂᏳᏉᏃ ᎠᏏ ᏔᎵ ᎤᏲ ᎨᏒ ᏙᏛᏍᏆᎸᎯ.
One woe is past; and, behold, there are coming yet two woes after these.
13 ᏑᏓᎵᏁᏃ ᎨᏒ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎤᏤᎷᎯᏒᎩ, ᎩᎶᏃ ᎧᏁᎬ ᎠᏆᏛᎦᏅᎩ ᏛᏓᎴᎲᏍᎬᎩ ᏅᎩ ᏂᏕᎤᎷᎬ ᎠᏕᎸᏓᎶᏂᎨ ᎪᏢᏔᏅᎯ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎨᎳᏍᏗᏱ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏄᏛᏅ ᎢᎬᏱᏗᏢ ᏥᎦᎧᎭ,
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a great voice from the four horns of the altar of gold which is before God,
14 ᎯᎠ ᎾᏥᏪᏎᎲᎩ ᏑᏓᎵᏁ ᎨᏒ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎠᏤᎷᎩ ᎦᏁᎯ, ᏔᎸᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᏅᎩ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᏗᏂᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎤᏔᏅ ᎡᏉᏂ ᎤᏪᏴ ᎷᏇᏗ ᏥᏕᎨᎦᎸᎥ.
saying to the sixth angel who held the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound at the great river Euphrates.
15 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᏅᎩ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᏗᎾᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏕᎨᎦᎸᏒᎲᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᎦᏛᏅᎢᏍᏔᏅᎩ ᏌᏉ ᏅᏙ ᎢᏳᏟᎶᏛ ᎢᎪᎯᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏏᎦ ᎨᏒ, ᎠᎴ ᏏᏅᏙ ᎨᏒ, ᎠᎴ ᏑᏕᏘᏴᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏂᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏦᎢ ᎢᎨᏥᏛᎯ ᏴᏫ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏌᏉ ᎢᏳᏂᏨᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.
And the four angels were loosed, who were ready at the hour, and day, and month, and year, to kill the third part of mankind.
16 ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏯᏫᏍᎩ ᏐᏈᎵ ᏧᎾᎩᎸᏗ ᏔᎵᏧᏈ ᎢᏳᏆᏗᏅᏛ ᎾᏂᎥᎩ; ᎠᎴ ᎠᏆᏛᎦᏅᎩ ᎾᏂᎥᎢ.
And the number of the armies of cavalry was two myriads of myriads and I heard the number of them.
17 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᎾᏍᏛᎩ ᎥᎦᏥᎪᎥᎩ ᏐᏈᎵ ᎠᏆᏁᎳᏫᏎᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᎿᎭᏧᎾᎩᎵ, ᏮᎾᏓᏁᏣᏍᏚᎸᎩ ᎠᏥᎸ ᎠᎴ ᏅᏯ ᏤᏏᏂ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏌᎪᏂᎨ ᎠᏓᏪᎳᎩᏍᎩ ᏗᎪᏢᏔᏅᎯ. ᏗᏂᏍᎪᎵᏃ ᏐᏈᎵ ᎠᏓᏥ ᎤᏂᏃᏕᏅ ᏥᏓᏂᏍᎫᏓᏛ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ; ᏗᏂᎰᎵᏃ ᏓᎦᏄᎪᎬᎩ ᎠᏥᎸ ᎠᎴ ᏧᎦᏒᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏌᎪᏂᎨ ᎠᏓᏪᎳᎩᏍᎩ.
And in this manner saw I the horses in the vision, and those who were mounted upon them, having breastplates of the colour of fire, and jacinth, and sulphur; and the horses’ heads were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceeded fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏦᎢ ᎢᏳᏓᎴᎩ ᎨᏒ ᏓᏅᏗᏍᎬ, ᏴᏫ ᏦᎢ ᎢᎨᏥᏛᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏌᏉ ᎢᏳᏂᏨᎯ ᏕᎨᏥᎸᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏥᎸ ᎬᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎦᏒᏍᏗ ᎬᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏌᎪᏂᎨ ᎠᏓᏪᎳᎩᏍᎩ ᎬᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᏂᎰᎵ ᏥᏙᏓᎦᏄᎪᎬᎢ.
By these three were slain the third part of mankind, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the sulphur, which proceeded out of their mouths.
19 ᎪᎱᏍᏗᏰᏃ ᎤᎾᏓᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᏗᏂᎰᎵ ᎠᎴ ᏓᏂᏂᏓᏛ ᏛᏓᎴᎲᏍᎬᎩ; ᏓᏂᏂᏓᏛᏰᏃ ᎢᎾᏛ ᏥᏄᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎨᏒᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᏂᏍᎫᏓᏛᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᏅᏗᏍᎬᎩ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎠᎾᏓᏛᏁᎲᎩ.
For their powers are in their mouth, and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads, and with them they do hurt.
20 ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏐᎢ ᏴᏫ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏕᏯᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏧᏂᎸᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎠᏏᏉ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏓᏂᏁᏟᏴᏍᎨ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛ ᎤᏲ ᏯᏂᏰᎸᏍᎨ ᏧᏃᏰᏂ ᎬᏗ ᏚᏂᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎸᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ ᏧᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏗᏰᎸᎯ ᎠᏕᎸ ᏓᎶᏂᎨ ᏗᎪᏢᏔᏅᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏕᎸ ᎤᏁᎬ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏣᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏅᏯ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓ ᏗᎪᏢᏔᏅᎯ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏩᏂᎪᏩᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᎾᏛᎪᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᏁᏓᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᎩ.
And the residue of mankind, who were not slain by these plagues, repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of wood, and of stone: which can neither see nor hear, nor walk:
21 ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲ ᏳᏂᏰᎸᏅ ᏚᎾᏓᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᎾᏙᏅᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏕᎵᏛ ᏚᎾᏂᏏᏂᏙᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏃᏍᎩᏒᎢ.
and they repented not of their murders, nor of their magical arts, nor of their whoredom, nor of their thefts.
