< ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎹᏚ ᎤᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ 19 >

1 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎩ, ᏥᏌ ᎤᏍᏆᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎬᎢ, ᎨᎵᎵ ᎤᏓᏅᏒᎩ, ᏧᏗᏱ ᎠᏍᏛ ᏭᎷᏨᎩ ᏦᏓᏂ ᎠᏍᎪᏂᏗᏢ.
It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2 ᎤᏂᏣᏘᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏛᏒᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᎿᎭᏚᏅᏩᏅᎩ.
Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎸ ᎬᏩᎪᎵᏰᏍᎬᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎲᎩ; ᏚᏳᎪᏗᏍᎪ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏓᎢᏅᏗᏱ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ ᏂᎦᎥᏉ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏴᏗᎵᏰᎢᎸᏍᏗᎭ?
And Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying to him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce a wife for any reason?"
4 ᎤᏁᏨᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏝᏍᎪ ᏱᏥᎪᎵᏰᎣ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᏓᎴᏂᏍᎬ ᏧᏪᏢᏅᎯ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎨᏴ ᏚᏬᏢᏅᎢ?
He answered, and said, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female,
5 ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᏕᎬᏕᎨᏍᏗ ᎤᏙᏓ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏜᏓᏫᏍᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᏌᏉᏉ ᎤᏂᏇᏓᎸᎢ?
and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and the two will become one flesh?'
6 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎥᏝ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᏱᎩ; ᏌᏉᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᏂᏇᏓᎸᎢ. ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᏭᏓᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏴᏫ ᏱᏚᎦᎴᏅᏔᏁᏍᏗ.
So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no one separate."
7 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏅᎬᏩᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᏱᏏ ᏧᏁᏤ ᎪᏪᎵ ᎦᏅᏁᏗᏱ ᏗᎦᎴᏅᏙᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎨᎯᏓᏍᏗᏱ?
They asked him, "Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce, and divorce her?"
8 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏗᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏗᏥᎾᏫ ᎼᏏ ᎤᎾᏁᎳᎩ ᏓᏂᎨᏙᎯᎮᏍᏗ ᏧᎾᏓᎵᎢ, ᎢᏤᎵᏎᎸᎩ; ᏗᏓᎴᏂᏍᎬᏍᎩᏂ ᎥᏝ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏄᏍᏕᎢ.
He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
9 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎩᎶ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ ᎢᎠᎨᎯᏙᎮᏍᏗ ᏧᏂᏏᏅᎯᏍᎩᏂᏃᏅ ᎢᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᏅᏩᏓᎴᏃ ᎢᎠᏓᏰᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᏓᏲᏁᎮᏍᏗ. ᎩᎶᏃ ᎠᏥᎨᎯᏙᎸᎯ ᎠᏓᏰᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᏓᏲᏁᎮᏍᏗ.
I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery. And he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery."
10 ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏄᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏓᎵᎢ ᏓᎾᏤᎲᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᎣᏏᏳ ᏱᎩ ᎠᏕᏒᎲᏍᏗᏱ.
The disciples said to him, "If this is the case of a husband with a wife, it is not expedient to marry."
11 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ, ᎥᏝ ᎾᏂᎥ ᎯᎠ ᏥᏂᏥ Ꮻ ᏱᏙᎬᎾᏓᏂᎸᎩ, ᎨᎦᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏁᎸᎯ ᎤᏅᏒ.
But he said to them, "Not everyone can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
12 ᎠᏁᎭᏰᏃ ᎠᏂᎾᎵ ᏅᏩᎾᏍᏙ ᏧᏂᏥ ᎬᏩᏂᎾᏄᎪᏫᏒ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏁᎭ ᎠᏂᎾᎵ ᏴᏫ ᎬᏩᏂᎾᎵᏛᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏁᎭ ᎠᏂᎾᎵ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎤᎾᏓᎾᎵᏛᎯ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎡᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ ᏗᎵᏰᎢᎸᏍᏗᏍᎬᎢ. ᎩᎶ ᏗᎬᏩᏓᏂᎸᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᏓᏂᎸᎨᏍᏗ.
For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it."
13 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏓᎦᏘᏃᎮᎸᎩ ᏧᎾᏍᏗ ᏗᏂᏲᎵ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏏᏔᏗᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ; ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯᏃ ᏚᏂᏅᏍᏓᏕᎸᎩ.
Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᎤᎾᏁᎳᎩ ᏗᏤᎵᏏ ᏧᎾᏍᏗ ᏗᏂᏲᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏗᏥᏅᏍᏓᏕᎸᎩ ᎬᎩᎷᏤᏗᏱ; ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᏄᎾᏍᏗ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎡᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒ.
But Jesus said, "Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to ones like these."
15 ᏚᏏᏔᏛᏃ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᏓᏅᏒᎩ.
He placed his hands on them, and departed from there.
16 ᎬᏂᏳᏉᏃ ᎠᏏᏴᏫ ᎤᎷᏤᎸᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎰᏍᏛ ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎦᏙ ᎤᏍᏗ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏓᎦᏛᏁᎵ ᎠᎩᏩᏛᏙᏗ ᏫᎾᏍᏛᎾ ᎬᏂᏛ? (aiōnios g166)
And look, someone came to him and said, "Teacher, what good thing must I do, that I may have everlasting life?" (aiōnios g166)
17 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᎰᏍᏛ ᎢᏍᏉᏎᎭ? ᎥᏝ ᎩᎶ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏱᎩ ᏌᏉ ᎤᏩᏒᎯᏳ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ. ᎠᏎᏃ ᏣᏚᎵᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎬᏂᏛ ᏗᎨᏒ ᏫᏣᎾᏄᎪᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᏘᏍᏆᏂᎪᏓ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ.
He said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? No one is good but one. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."
18 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎦᏙ ᎤᏍᏗ? ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᎡᎩ; ᎯᎠ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏓᎸᎩ; ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏓᏲᏁᎸᎩ; ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏃᏍᎩᏒᎩ; ᏓᎾᏓᏱᎵᏙᎲ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎦᏰᎪᎩ ᏣᏃᎮᎸᎩ;
He said to him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "'Do not murder.' 'Do not commit adultery.' 'Do not steal.' 'Do not offer false testimony.'
19 ᎯᎸᏉᏕᏍᏗ ᏣᏙᏓ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏥ; ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎯᎠ; ᏨᏒ ᏂᏣᏓᎨᏳᏒ ᏂᎨᏳᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᎥ ᎢᏗᏍᏓᏓᎳ.
'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
20 ᎠᏫᏅ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏓᎩᎧᎿᎭᏩᏕᏅ ᏥᏧᏣ ᎨᏒ ᏅᏓᎬᏩᏓᎴᏅᏛ, ᎦᏙ ᎠᏏ ᎠᎩᎷᎳ?
The young man said to him, "All these things I have kept. What do I still lack?"
21 ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᏣᏍᏆᏗᏍᏗᏱ ᏣᏚᎵᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎮᎾ, ᏫᎾᏚᎦ ᏣᎿᎭᎥᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏘᎲᏏ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᎿᎭᏕᎩ, ᎦᎸᎳᏗᏃ ᏫᏣᎮᏍᏗ ᏧᎬᏩᎶᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᏖᏒ ᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏕᏒᎭ.
Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."
22 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏫᏅ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏛᎦᏅ ᎤᏓᏅᏒᎩ ᎤᏲᎢᏳ ᎤᏰᎸᏅᎩ, ᎤᏣᏘᏰᏃ ᎤᏪᎿᎭᎢᏳ ᎨᏒᎩ.
But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ; ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎤᏪᎿᎭᎢ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᏭᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᎡᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.
Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly I say to you, it is difficult for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 ᎠᎴᏬ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎤᏟ ᎠᎯᏗᏳ ᎨᎻᎵ ᎤᎦᏛᎴᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏴᎩ ᎦᏏᏁᎾᏛᏗᏱ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎤᏪᎿᎭᎢ ᏴᏫ ᏭᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich person to enter into the Kingdom of God."
25 ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯᏃ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏒᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ ᎦᎪᏃ ᏰᎵ ᏯᏥᏍᏕᎸ?
When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"
26 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏚᎧᎿᎭᏅ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏴᏫ ᎨᏒ ᎥᏝ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏅᎦᎵᏍᏓ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎨᏒ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏉ.
Looking at them, Jesus said, "With humans this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
27 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎠᏴ ᏂᎦᏗᏳ ᏙᎩᏲᏐᏅ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏨᏍᏓᏩᏕᏅ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᎠᏴ ᏓᏲᏥᏩᏛᎯ?
Then Peter answered, "Look, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?"
28 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎠᏓᏁᏟᏴᏒᎢ, ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎦᏅᎭ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎤᏪᏍᎩᎸᎢ, ᏂᎯ ᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏛᏛ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎢᏥᏁᏍᏗ ᏔᎳᏚ ᏕᎦᏍᎩᎸᎢ, ᏕᏧᎪᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᏔᎳᏚ ᎾᏂᎳᏍᏓᎸ ᎢᏏᎵ.
Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏂᎥ ᎩᎶ ᏧᏅᏕᏨᎯ ᏓᏂᏁᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ ᎠᎴ ᏧᏂᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏂᏙᏓ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏂᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏓᎵᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏁᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᏙᎯ, ᏓᏆᏙᎥ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎤᏂᏩᏛᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎪᎯᏧᏈ ᎤᏁᏉᏨᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏤᎵ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎬᏂᏛ ᏫᎾᏍᏛᎾ. (aiōnios g166)
Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
30 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏂᏣᏔ ᎢᎬᏱ ᏥᎩ ᎣᏂᏱ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᎣᏂᏱᏃ ᏥᎩ ᎢᎬᏱᎢᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.
