< ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎹᏚ ᎤᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ 17 >

1 ᏑᏓᎵᏃ ᏫᏄᏒᎸ ᏥᏌ ᏚᏘᏅᏒᎩ ᏈᏓ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᎻ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ ᏥᎻ ᏗᎾᏓᏅᏟ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᎿᎭᎷᏔᏅᎩ ᎢᏅ ᎢᎦᏘ ᎣᏓᎸ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎨᏒᎢ,
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up upon an high mountain by themselves,
2 ᎠᎴ ᎤᏓᏁᏟᏴᏎ ᏓᏂᎧᏅᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎧᏛ ᏗᎬᏩᎸᏌᏓ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ ᏅᏙ ᎢᏗᎬᏤᎵᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏄᏩᎥ ᎢᎦ-ᎦᏛ ᏥᏄᏁᎩᏴ ᏄᏁᎩᏰᎢ.
And he was transfigured before them: and his face shone as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3 ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎾᎿᎭᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏂᎬᏩᎾᏛᏁᎴ ᎼᏏ ᎠᎴ ᎢᎳᏯ ᎬᏩᎵᏃᎮᏗᏍᎨᎢ.
And, behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah talking with him.
4 ᏈᏓᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᏥᏌ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎣᏏᏳ ᎠᏂ ᏥᏕᏙᎭ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎣᏏᏳ ᏱᏣᏰᎸᏅ, ᎠᏂ ᏦᎢ ᏱᏙᏥᎵᏦᏛᎦ, ᏌᏉ ᏂᎯ ᏣᏤᎵᎦ, ᏐᎢᏃ ᎼᏏ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᏐᎢᏃ ᎢᎳᏯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ.
Then answered Peter, and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
5 ᎠᏏᏉᏃ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎨᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎤᏍᎪᏍᏛ ᎤᎶᎩᎳ ᎤᎾᏓᏩᏗᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎾᎿᎭᎤᎶᎩᎸ ᏧᏁᏤᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏅᏧᏪᏎᎢ; ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏇᏥ ᏥᎨᏳᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎣᏏᏳ ᏥᏰᎸᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎡᏣᏛᏓᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ.
While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
6 ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯᏃ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ ᏚᏂᏅᏤ ᏚᏂᏯᏍᏚᏎᎢ, ᎤᏣᏘ ᎤᏂᏍᎦᎴᎢ.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were greatly afraid.
7 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᎷᏤ ᏚᏒᏂᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᏗᏣᎴᎲᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏱᏥᏍᎦᎢᎮᏍᏗ.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8 ᏚᎾᎧᎾᏅᏃ ᎥᏝ ᎩᎶ ᏳᏂᎪᎮ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏩᏒ.
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, except Jesus only.
9 ᏧᏂᎦᏐᎠᏏᏗᏒᏃ ᎣᏓᎸᎢ ᏥᏌ ᏚᏅᏍᏓᏕᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᏞᏍᏗ ᎩᎶ ᎡᏥᏃᏁᎸᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏥᎪᏩᏛ ᎬᏂ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎤᏲᎱᏒ ᏚᎴᏁᏍᏗ.
And as they came down the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man is risen from the dead.
10 ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯᏃ ᎬᏩᏛᏛᏁᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩ, ᎢᎳᏯ ᎢᎬᏱ ᏓᎦᎷᏥ, ᏣᎾᏗᏍᎪᎢ?
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elijah must first come?
11 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᎢᎳᏯ ᎢᎬᏱ ᎤᎷᎯᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏬᏢᎯᏐᏗ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ.
And Jesus answered and said to them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎢᎳᏯ ᎦᏳᎳ ᎤᎷᏨ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᏱᎬᏬᎵᏦᎢ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎤᎾᏚᎵᏍᎬᎢ ᏂᎬᏩᏁᎸ. ᎾᏍᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏅᏓᎬᏩᏁᎵ.
But I say to you, That Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done to him whatever they desired. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer by them.
13 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎤᏃᎵᏤ ᏣᏂ ᏗᏓᏬᏍᎩ ᎧᏁᎢᏍᏗᏍᎬᎢ.
Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them concerning John the Baptist.
14 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᎠᏁᏙᎲ ᎤᏂᎷᏨ, ᎤᎷᏤᎸᎩ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᏚᎵᏂᏆᏅᏁᎸᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ;
And when they had come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎯᏯᏙᎵᎩ ᎠᏧᏣ ᎠᏇᏥ, ᎬᎵᏰᏃ ᎬᏩᎯᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎠᎩᎵᏲᎦ, ᏯᏃᎩᏳᏰᏃ ᎠᏥᎸᏱ ᎬᏛᎪᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎹᏱ ᎠᎬᎪᎢ.
Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and greatly distressed: for often he falleth into the fire, and often into the water.
16 ᎦᏥᏯᏘᏃᎮᎸᎩᏃ ᎨᏣᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏂᏄᎸᏅᎩ ᎤᏂᏅᏬᏗᏱ.
And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᏂᏦᎯᏳᏒᎾ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᎦᏔᎲᏛ ᎪᎯ ᏥᏤᎭ, ᎢᎳᎪ ᏂᎪᎯᎴᏍᏗ ᎢᏨᏰᎳᏗᏙᎮᏍᏗ? ᎢᎳᎪ ᏂᎪᎯᎴᏍᏗ ᎤᎾᏁᎳᎩ ᎢᏨᏰᎵᏎᎮᏍᏗ? ᏍᎩᏯᏘᏃᎯᏏ.
Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him here to me.
18 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎠᏍᎩᎾ ᎤᏍᎦᏨᎩ; ᎠᏍᎩᎾᏃ ᎤᏄᎪᏨᎩ ᎠᏧᏣ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᎯᏳᏉ ᎤᏗᏩᏒᎩ.
And Jesus rebuked the demon; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏥᏌ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎸᎩ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎩ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᏦᎩᏄᎸᏅᎩ ᎣᏥᏄᎪᏫᏍᏗᏱ?
Then came the disciples to Jesus privately, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᎭ ᏂᏦᎯᏳᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ. ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯᏰᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᏱᏦᎯᏳᎭ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎠᏥᎸᏉ ᎤᎦᏔ ᎢᎩᏛ, ᎯᎠ ᏱᏂᏥᏪᏏ ᎯᎠ ᏦᏓᎸ, ᎭᏓᏅᎾ ᎢᏢ ᏫᎶᎯ, ᎠᎭ ᎤᏓᏅᏍᏗ; ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏥᏄᎸᎲᏍᎦ.
And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place; and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
21 ᎯᎠᏍᎩᏂᏃᏅ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎥᏝ ᎤᏄᎪᎢᏍᏗ ᏱᎩ, ᎬᏂ ᏴᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗᎭ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎹᏟ ᏯᎬᏍᎦ.
However this kind goeth not out except by prayer and fasting.
22 ᎠᏏᏃ ᎨᎵᎵ ᎠᏁᏙᎲᎢ ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏴᏫ ᏙᏓᎨᏥᏲᎯᏎᎵ,
And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
23 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᎬᏩᎵ, ᎠᎴ ᏦᎢᏁ ᎢᎦ ᏙᏛᎠᎴᏂ. ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯᏃ ᎤᏲ ᎤᏂᏰᎸᏅᎩ.
And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceedingly sorrowful.
24 ᎨᏆᏂᏃ ᎤᏂᎷᏨ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎠᏕᎸ ᎠᏂᎩᏏᏙᎯ ᎬᏩᎷᏤᎴ ᏈᏓ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ; ᏝᏍᎪ ᏗᏤᏲᎲᏍᎩ ᎠᏰᎵ ᏯᎫᏱᏍᎪᎢ?
And when they had come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
25 ᎥᎥ, ᎤᏛᏁᎢ. ᎠᏓᏁᎸᏃ ᎤᎷᏨ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏲᏍᏙᏓᏁᎸᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᎦᏙ ᎮᎵᎭ, ᏌᏩᏂ; ᎦᎪ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎬᏩᎾᎫᏴᎡᎰ ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᏁᎯ; ᏧᏁᏥᏍᎪ, ᏅᏩᎾᏓᎴᎨ?
He saith, Yes. And when he had come into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? from their own children, or from strangers?
26 ᏅᏩᎾᏓᎴᎢ, ᎤᏓᏙᏎᎸᎩ ᏈᏓ. ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏧᏁᏥᏍᎩᏂᎨᏃ ᎤᎾᏁᎳᎩᏉ.
Peter saith to him, From strangers. Jesus saith to him, Then are the children free.
27 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏗᏂᎿᎭᎸᏙᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎥᏓᎵ ᎮᎾ, ᎠᏑᏗᏃ ᏫᏣᏓᎡᏒᎭ, ᎢᎬᏱᏱᏃ ᎯᏴᎩᏛ ᎠᏣᏗ ᎯᏁᏒᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᏍᏚᎢᏒ ᎠᎰᎵ ᎠᏰᎵ-ᎠᏕᎸ ᏘᏩᏛᎯ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎩᏒᎭ ᎠᎴ ᏕᎯᏁᎸᎭ ᎠᏴ ᎩᎾᎫᏴᏗ.
However, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: take that, and give to them for me and thee.
