< ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎹᎦ ᎤᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ 16 >

1 ᎤᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᎬᏃ ᎤᎶᏐᏅ, ᎺᎵ ᎹᎩᏕᎵ ᎡᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎺᎵ ᏥᎻ ᎤᏥ ᎠᎴ ᏌᎶᎻ ᎤᏂᏩᏒᎯ ᎨᏎ ᎤᎦᎾᏍᏛ ᎦᏩᏒᎩ, ᎤᏂᎷᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᏰᎸᏎ ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᎶᏁᏗᏱ.
When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James, and Salome brought spices in order to go and anoint him.
2 ᏑᎾᎴᎢᏳᏃ ᎢᎬᏱᏱ ᎢᎦ ᏑᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏂᎷᏤ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛ ᏨᏗᎧᎸᎪᏉ.
And very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb as the sun was rising;
3 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᎾᏓᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᎪ ᏓᎩᎲᎡᎵ ᏅᏯ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛ ᎦᎶᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎲᎢ?
and they kept saying to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the door of the tomb?"
4 ᏫᏚᎾᎧᎿᎭᏅᏃ ᎤᏂᎪᎮ ᏅᏯ ᎠᎲᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏣᏘᏰᏃ ᎡᏉᎯᏳ ᎨᏎᎢ.
But then as they looked up they saw that the stone, which was a very large one, was already rolled away;
5 ᏭᏂᏴᎸᏃ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛᎢ, ᎤᏂᎪᎮ ᎠᏫᏴ ᎠᎦᏘᏏᏗᏢ ᎤᏬᎴᎢ, ᎤᏄᏪ ᎦᏅᎯᏛ ᎤᏁᎬ ᎠᏄᏬ; ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎢᎮᏃ.
and upon entering the tomb they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a white robe.
6 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏞᏍᏗ ᏱᏥᏍᎦᎢᎮᏍᏗ; ᏥᏌ ᎾᏎᎵᏗ ᎡᎯ ᎡᏥᏲᎭ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏣᎦᏛᎥᏍᎬᎩ; ᏚᎴᎯᏌᏅ; ᎥᏝ ᎠᏂ ᏱᎦᏅ; ᏗᏣᎧᏅᎦ Ꭰ ᎤᏂᏅᏅᎢ.
They were terrified, but he said to them. "Do not be terrified! You are seeking Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified? He is risen; he is not here. See, the place where they laid him!
7 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᏤᎾ, ᎠᎴ ᏫᏗᏥᏃᎲᏏ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏈᏓ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎬᏱ ᏫᏚᎶᎯᏎᏗᏱ ᎨᎵᎵ; ᎾᎿᎭᏓᏰᏥᎪᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏂᏥᏪᏎᎸᎢ.
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, "‘He is going before you into Galilee, where you will see him, as he told you.’"
8 ᎤᎵᏍᏗᏃ ᎤᏂᏄᎪᏨ ᏚᎾᎵᏖᏎ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛᎢ; ᏚᏂᎾᏫᏍᎨᏰᏃ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏍᎨᎢ; ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏳᏃᏎᎴᎢ; ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎢᎮᏰᏃ.
So they went out, and ran from the tomb, for they were trembling and amazed; and they said nothing to any one, for they were afraid -

(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now after his resurrection, early on the first day of the week he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had driven out seven demons.
10 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᏪᏅ ᎤᏁᏙᎸᎯ ᏫᏚᏃᏁᎴ ᎤᏲ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛᎢ ᎠᎴ ᏓᎾᏠᏱᎲᎢ.
She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ ᎬᏅᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎪᎲᎢ, ᎥᏝ ᏳᏃᎯᏳᏁᎢ.
But they, although they heard that he was living and had been seen by her did not believe it.
12 ᎣᏂᏃ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᏄᏍᏕ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏂᏚᏛᏁᎴ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᏁᎳ ᎠᎾᎢᏎᎢ, ᏙᏗᎦᎶᎨᏒ ᏩᏂᎦᏖᎢ.
After this he appeared in another form to two of them as they were walking on their way into the country.
13 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᏁᏅ ᏫᏚᏂᏃᏁᎴ ᎠᏂᏐᎢ; ᎾᏍᏉ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏚᏃᎯᏳᏁ ᎾᏍᎩ.
They too went, and told the others; but they did not believe them, either.
14 ᎣᏂᏃ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏂᏚᏛᏁᎴ ᏌᏚ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᎬᏍᎪᎸᏁ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᏄᏃᎯᏳᏒᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏍᏓᏱᏳ ᎨᏒ ᏧᏂᎾᏫ, ᏂᏚᏃᎯᏳᏅᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏩᎪᎲᎯ ᏧᎴᎯᏌᏅᎯ ᏂᎨᏎᎢ.
Afterward he appeared to the Eleven themselves, as they were eating, and reproached them for their lack of faith, and stubborn hearts, because they disbelieved those who had seen him risen.
15 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎢᏤᏙᎾ ᎡᎶᎯ ᏂᎬᎾᏛᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏫᏗᏣᎵᏥᏙᎲᏏ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎾᏂᎥ ᎨᎪᏢᏅᎯ.
And he said to them. "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
16 ᎩᎶ ᎪᎯᏳᎲᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎦᏬᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᏥᏍᏕᎸᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ; ᏂᎪᎯᏳᎲᏍᎬᎾᏍᎩᏂ ᏣᎫᎪᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who disbelieves shall be condemned.
17 ᎯᎠᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᏗᎪᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᏔᎵ ᏚᏛᏗᏕᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ; ᎠᏴ ᏓᏆᏙᎥ ᎠᏅᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ ᏓᏂᏄᎪᏫᏍᎨᏍᏗ; ᏅᏩᎾᏓᎴ ᏧᏂᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᏓᏂᏬᏂᏍᎨᏍᏗ;
Moreover these signs shall follow those who believe. They shall drive out demons in my name; they shall speak with new tongues in foreign languages;
18 ᎢᎾᏛ ᏓᏂᏁᏍᎨᏍᏗ; ᎢᏳ ᎠᎴ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎠᏓᎯᎯ ᏳᎾᏗᏔᎲ, ᎥᏝ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏳᏅᏁᎮᏍᏗ; ᏧᏂᏢᎩ ᏓᎾᏏᏔᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᎾᏗᏩᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
they shall pick up serpents, and if they drink any poison it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover."
19 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏚᏬᏁᏔᏅ, ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏙᏣᏕᏓᏂᎸᏤᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎦᏘᏏ ᎢᏗᏢ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏬᎸ ᎤᏪᏁᎢ.
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 ᎤᏁᏅᏎᏃ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎬᎾᏛ ᎤᎾᎵᏥᏙᏂᏙᎴᎢ, ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏔᎵ ᎤᏛᏗᏕᎨ ᏚᏂᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏁᎬ ᎠᏍᏓᏱᏗᏍᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏰᎸᏛ ᎤᎵᏠᏯᏍᏗᏕᎬᎢ. ᎡᎺᏅ.
But they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the message by the miracles which followed.
