< ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎷᎦ ᎤᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ 5 >

1 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ, ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᎬᏩᏜᏓᏫᏍᏗᏕᎨ ᎤᎾᏛᎪᏗᏱ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᎾᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎨᏂᏏᎳᏗ ᎥᏓᎷᎶᏗ ᎦᏙᎨᎢ.
Now it came to pass, while the multitude pressed upon him to hear the word of God, and having stood still, he was beside the lake of Gennesaret.
2 ᏥᏳᏃ ᏔᎵ ᏚᎪᎮ ᎥᏓᎷᎶᏗ ᏓᏔᎴᎢ; ᎠᏂᎦᏯᎷᎥᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᎤᎾᏣᎢᏛ ᎨᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᏅᎩᎶᏍᎨ ᎫᏂᎦᏯᎷᏗ.
And he saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen having gone out of them, were washing their nets.
3 ᏌᏉᏃ ᎠᏔᎸ ᏥᏳ ᎤᏣᏁᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏌᏩᏂ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ ᎨᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏔᏲᏎᎴ ᎤᏍᏗᎩᏛ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏭᎧᏙᏯᏍᏗᏱ. ᎤᏪᏁᏃ ᎠᎴ ᏚᏪᏲᏁ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏥᏳᎢ ᎬᏩᏣᎢ.
And having entered into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And having sat down, he taught the crowds from the boat.
4 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎤᏲᎯᏍᏔᏅ ᎦᏬᏂᏍᎬ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᏌᏩᏂ, ᏗᏍᏛᎬ ᏫᏅᏍᏛ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎳᏗ ᏂᏗᏨᎦ ᏗᏥᎦᏯᎷᏗ ᏗᏥᏂᏴᏗᏱ.
And when he stopped speaking, he said to Simon, Put out into the depth, and let down your nets for a catch.
5 ᏌᏩᏂᏃ ᎤᏁᏤ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ ᎤᎵᏨᏓᏆᏛ ᏙᎩᎸᏫᏍᏓᏏ ᎥᏝᏃ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏲᏥᏂᏴ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᏂᎯ ᏣᏁᏨ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏓᎬᏂ ᎠᎦᏯᎷᏗ.
And having answered, Simon said to him, Master, having toiled through the whole night, we took nothing, but at thy saying, I will let down the net.
6 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏄᎾᏛᏁᎸ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏚᏂᏂᏴᎮ ᎠᏣᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᎦᏯᎷᏗ ᏚᎾᎵᎦᎵᏎᎴᎢ
And having done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net was tearing.
7 ᏚᎾᏁᎶᏥᏁᎴᏃ ᎤᎾᎵᎪᎯ ᏐᎢᏱ ᏥᏳᎯ ᎤᎾᏣᎢ ᏅᏓᎬᏩᏂᏍᏕᎸᎲᏍᏗᏱ. ᎤᏂᎷᏤᏃ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏧᎳ ᏥᏳ ᏚᏂᎧᎵᎴᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏕᎦᏃᏴᎨᎢ.
And they beckoned to their partners in the other boat, after coming, to assist them. And they came and filled both the boats, so as for them to be sunk down.
8 ᏌᏃᏂᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎤᎪᎲ ᎤᏓᏅᏁ ᏥᏌ ᏗᎧᏂᎨᏂ ᎾᎥᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎨᎢ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏍᏆᏓᏅᏏ, ᏥᏍᎦᎾᎯᏳᏰᏃ ᎠᏴ.
But Simon Peter having seen, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, because I am a sinful man, Lord.
9 ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏎᏰᏃ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏎ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᎾᏂᎥ ᎠᏣᏗ ᏚᏂᏂᏴᎲᎢ;
For astonishment surrounded him, and all those with him, at the catch of the fishes that they caught,
10 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏥᎻ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ ᏤᏈᏗ ᏧᏪᏥ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᎵᎪᎯ ᏥᎨᏎ ᏌᏩᏂ. ᏥᏌᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᏌᏩᏂ; ᏞᏍᏗ ᏣᏍᎦᎸᎩ; ᎪᎯ ᎢᏳᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏘᏂᏱᏍᎩ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
and likewise also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not, from henceforth thou will be catching men.
11 ᎤᏩᏝᎥᏃ ᏚᏂᏔᎳᏗᎸ ᏥᏳ, ᏂᎦᏛ ᏚᏂᏲᏐᏁ ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏛᏎᎢ.
And when they brought their boats to land, after forsaking all, they followed him.
12 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁ ᎢᎸᎯᏢ ᎦᏚᎲ ᎡᏙᎲᎢ, ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᏂᎬ ᎠᏓᏰᏍᎩ ᎤᏢᎩ ᎾᎿᎭᎡᏙᎮᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏌᎤᎪᎲ ᎤᏯᏍᏚᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏔᏲᏎᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎣᏏᏳ ᏱᏣᏰᎸᏅ ᏰᎵᏉ ᏱᏍᎩᏅᎦᎸ.
And it came to pass while he was in one of the cities, behold, a man full of leprosy. And having seen Jesus, having fallen on his face, he besought him, saying, Lord, if thou will, thou can make me clean.
13 ᎤᏙᏯᏅᎯᏛᏃ ᎤᏒᏂᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ᎣᏏᏳ ᏥᏰᎸᎾ; ᏣᏓᏅᎦᎸᏛ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ. ᎩᎳᏉᏃ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎠᏓᏰᏍᎩ ᎤᏢᎬ ᎤᏓᏅᎡᎴᎢ.
And having stretched forth his hand, he touched him, having said, I will, be thou clean. And straightaway the leprosy departed from him.
14 ᎤᏁᏤᎴᏃ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏃᏁᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ; ᎮᎾᏉᏍᎩᏂ, [ ᎤᏬᏎᎴᎢ, ] ᏫᏯᏓᎾᏄᎪᏫᏏ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎨᎶᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎼᏏ ᎤᏁᏨ ᏣᏓᏅᎦᎸᎲ ᎠᎵᏍᎪᎸᏙᏗ ᏫᎲᎦ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᎯᏍᏙᏗ.
And he commanded him to tell no man, but, After going, show thyself to the priest, and bring concerning thy cleansing, just as Moses commanded for a testimony to them.
15 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏟᏉ ᎢᎦᎢ ᏚᏰᎵᏎ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏕᎦᏃᏣᎸᎢ. ᎤᏂᏣᏘᏃ ᏚᏂᎳᏫᏦᎴ ᎤᎾᏚᎵᏍᎨ ᎤᎾᏛᎪᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᏧᏅᏬᏗᏱ ᏚᏂᏢᎬᎢ.
But the report about him went through more, and many multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him from their infirmities.
16 ᎤᏓᏅᏎᏃ ᎢᎾᎨ ᏬᎶᏎ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗᏍᎨᎢ.
But he himself was withdrawing into the desolate regions, and praying.
17 ᎢᎸᎯᏳᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎾᎯᏳ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎨᎢ, ᎾᎿᎭᎠᏂᏁ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏗᏃᏏᏏᏍᎩ ᏕᎦᏚᏩᏗᏒ ᎨᎵᎵ ᏅᏓᏩᏂᎶᏒᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ; ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯᏃ ᎤᎵᏂᎬᎬ ᏚᎾᏗᏫᏍᏗᏍᎨᎢ.
And it came to pass during one of those days, he was also teaching. And there were seated Pharisees and law teachers, who were men having come out of every town of Galilee and Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was to heal them.
18 ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᎾᏍᏗ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏂᏃᎴ ᎠᏤᏍᏙᎩᎯ ᎦᏅᎨ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᎸᏓᎸᎥᏍᎩ; ᎤᎾᏁᎶᏔᏁᏃ ᎤᏂᏴᏔᏂᎯᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ [ ᏥᏌ ] ᎢᎬᏱᏢ ᎤᏂᏅᏁᏗᏱ.
And behold, men bringing a man on a bed who was paralyzed. And they sought to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 ᎤᎾᏠᏨᏃ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᏴᏔᏂᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ, ᎦᏌᎾᎵ ᎤᎾᎩᎳᏫᏎᎢ, ᎾᎿᎭᏃ ᏧᏂᎦᏛᎴᎯᏍᏔᏁ ᎤᎾᏠᎥᏔᏂᎴ ᎤᏤᏍᏙ ᎬᏩᏠᏯᏍᏗ ᎤᎾᏓᏡᎬ ᎠᏰᎵ, ᏥᏌ ᎢᎬᏱᏢ ᎤᏂᏅᏁᎴᎢ.
And not having found how they might bring him in because of the multitude, after going up upon the housetop, they let him down through the tiles with the small bed into the midst in front of Jesus.
20 ᎤᏃᎯᏳᏒᏃ ᎤᏙᎴᎰᏒ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎯᏍᎦᏯ, ᏣᏍᎦᏅᏨ ᎡᏣᏙᎵᎩ.
And having seen their faith, he said to him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏖᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ; ᎦᎪ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏣᏐᏢᎢᏍᏗᎭ? ᎦᎪ ᎬᏩᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎠᏍᎦᏅᏨᎢ? ᏝᏍᎪ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏩᏒ?
And the scholars and the Pharisees began to deliberate, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, except God alone?
22 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏙᎴᎰᏒ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏓᎾᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬᎢ, ᎤᏁᏤ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎦᏙ ᎢᏣᏓᏅᏖᎭ ᏙᏗᎶᏓᏅᏛᎢ?
But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, having responded, he said to them, Why do ye deliberate in your hearts?
23 ᎦᏙ ᎤᏍᏗ ᎤᏟ ᎠᎯᏗᏳ ᎧᏁᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᏣᏍᎦᏅᏨ ᎡᏣᏙᎵᎩ ᎠᏛᏗᏱ; ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᎢᎦᏪᏍᏗᏱ, ᏔᎴᎲᎦ ᎠᎴ ᎮᏓ?
Which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise and walk?
24 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎢᏣᏙᎴᎰᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᏰᎵᏉ ᎠᏂ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎬᏩᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎣᏍᎦᏅᏨᎢ, ( ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴ ᎤᎸᏓᎸᎥᏍᎩ; ) ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏪᏎᎭ; ᏔᎴᎲᎦ, ᏣᏤᏍᏙ ᎯᎾᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏤᏅᏒ ᎮᎾ.
But that ye may know that the Son of man has authority upon earth to forgive sins (he said to the paralyzed man), I say to thee, Arise, and after taking up thy small bed, go to thy house.
25 ᎩᎳᏉᏃ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎤᏗᏛᎮ ᏓᏂᎧᏅᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᏎ ᎤᏤᏍᏙᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏪᏅᏒ ᏭᎶᏎᎢ, ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ.
And immediately having risen up before them, after taking up that on which he lay, he departed to his house glorifying God.
26 ᏂᎦᏗᏳᏃ ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᎸᏉᏔᏁ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎧᎵᏨᎯ ᎤᎾᏰᎯᏍᏗ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏓᏕᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏂᏪᏍᎨᎢ; ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗᏳ ᎢᏗᎪᏩᏛ ᎪᎯ ᎢᎦ.
And amazement gripped all, and they glorified God. And they were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things today.
27 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎸ ᎤᏄᎪᏤᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎪᎮ ᎠᏕᎸ ᎠᎩᏏᏙᎯ ᎵᏫ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ, ᎤᏬᎴ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎡᎯ ᎠᏕᎸ ᎠᎫᏴᏗᏱ; ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏚᎦ.
And after these things he went forth and saw a tax collector, named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And he said to him, Follow me.
28 ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᎤᏮᏕᏦᏁ ᎠᎴ ᏚᎴᏁ ᎤᏍᏓᏩᏛᏎᎢ.
And after leaving behind all, having risen up, he followed him.
29 ᎵᏫᏃ ᎤᏣᏘ ᏣᎦᎵᏍᏓᏴᎾᏁᏗᏱ ᎤᏛᏅᎢᏍᏓᏁᎴ ᎤᏩᏒ ᎦᏁᎸᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏣᏖ ᎠᏕᎸ ᎠᏂᎩᏏᏙᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏅᏩᎾᏓᎴ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎠᏂᏅᏜᏓᎡᎢ.
And Levi made a great feast for him in his house, and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were relaxing with them.
30 ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᏧᎾᏤᎵ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᏚᏂᏔᎳᏬᎯᏎᎴ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎦ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᏗᏔᏍᎦ ᎠᏕᎸ ᎠᏂᎩᏏᏙᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎾᎢ?
And their scholars and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?
31 ᏥᏌᏃ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᏴ ᏂᏑᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᏂᏚᏂᏢᎬᎾ ᎥᏝ ᎤᏚᎸᏗ ᏱᏄᎾᎵᏍᏓᏁᎰ ᏗᏓᏅᏫᏍᎩ, ᏧᏂᏢᎩᏍᎩᏂ.
And having answered, Jesus said to them, Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those faring badly.
32 ᎥᏝ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏘ ᏱᏗᏥᏯᏅᎯᎸ, ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎾᏍᎩᏂ ᏧᏂᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛᎢ.
I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
33 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎦᏙᏃ ᏣᏂ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏯᏃᎩᏳ ᎠᎹᏟ ᎠᏅᏍᎪᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗᏍᎪᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎠᏂᏆᎵᏏ ᎬᏩᏂᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ; ᏂᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎨᏣᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎪ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏗᏔᏍᎪᎢ.
And they said to him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make supplications, and likewise those of the Pharisees, but thine eat and drink.
34 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᏥᎪ ᏕᎨᎦᏨᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎠᏂᎦᏔᎯ ᎠᎹᏟ ᎤᏅᏗᏱ ᏱᏂᏕᏨᏂᏏ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎤᏁᎳᏗᏙᎲ ᎤᏕᏒᏂᎸᎯ?
And he said to them, Ye cannot make the sons of the wedding hall fast while the bridegroom is with them.
35 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏗᎵᏰᎢᎶᎵ ᎢᎦ ᏓᎨᏥᏯᏅᎡᎵ ᎤᏕᏒᏂᎸᎯ, ᎾᎯᏳᏃ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎠᎹᏟ ᎠᏅᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
But the days will also come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, then they will fast in those days.
36 ᏚᏟᎶᏍᏓᏁᎴᏃ ᎾᏍᏉ [ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ; ] ᎥᏝ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏤ ᎠᏄᏬ ᎤᏪᏘᎯ ᏱᎦᎳᏍᏢᎥᏍᎪᎢ; ᎢᏳᏰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏄᏛᏁᎸ, ᎢᏤ ᎠᏄᏬ ᎦᏣᎦᎵᏍᎪ ᎤᏪᏘ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎢᏤ ᎠᎬᎭᎸᏛ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏓᎾᏙᎵᎪ ᎤᏪᏘ.
And he also spoke a parable to them. No man puts a patch of a new garment on an old garment, otherwise both the new tears, and that from the new will not blend with the old.
37 ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎩᎦᎨ-ᎠᏗᏔᏍᏗ ᏧᏪᏘ ᏗᏑᏢᏛ ᏱᏓᏟᏍᏗᏍᎪᎢ; ᎢᏤᏰᏃ ᎩᎦᎨ-ᎠᏗᏔᏍᏗ ᏱᏙᎦᏣᎦᎸ ᏗᏑᏢᏛ ᎠᎴ ᏯᏤᏬᎩ, ᏗᏑᏢᏛᏃ ᏱᏓᏲᎩ.
And no man puts new wine into old wineskins, otherwise the new wine will burst the wineskins, and will itself be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined.
38 ᎢᏤᏍᎩᏃ ᎩᎦᎨ-ᎠᏗᏔᏍᏗ ᎠᏎ ᏗᏤ ᏗᏑᏢᏛ ᏗᏟᏍᏙᏗ; ᎩᎳ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎢᏧᎳ ᏂᏗᎬᏩᏍᏙᎢ
But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved together.
39 ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏪᏘ ᎩᎦᎨ-ᎠᏗᏔᏍᏗ ᎤᏚᎩᏛ ᏥᎨᏐ ᎢᎬᏪᏅᏛ ᎢᏤ ᏳᏚᎵᏍᎪᎢ; ᎯᎠᏰᏃ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎪᎢ, ᎤᏪᏘ ᎤᏟ ᏃᎯ.
And no man having drunk old straightaway desires new, for he says, The old is better.
