< ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎷᎦ ᎤᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ 24 >

1 ᎢᎬᏱᏱᏃ ᎢᎦ ᏑᎾᏙᏓᏆᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎩᎳ ᎢᎦ ᏥᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᏍᎪᎢ, ᎤᏂᎷᏤ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛᎢ, ᏚᏂᏲᎴ ᏗᎦᏩᏒᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᎾᏓᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᎾᏍᏗ ᎠᏁᎮᎢ.
But at early morning dawn on the first day of the week (Nissan 17, the day of First Fruits #1), they and some others came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
2 ᎤᏂᏩᏛᎮᏃ ᏅᏯ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏫᎦᏌᏆᎴᎸᏍᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏎ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛᎢ.
They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3 ᎤᏂᏴᎸᏃ ᎥᏝ ᏳᏂᎾᏩᏛᎮ ᎠᏰᎸ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏌ.
They entered in, and didn’t find the Lord Yeshua [Salvation]'s body.
4 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎤᎾᏕᏯᏔᏁᎮ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᎢ, ᎡᏂᏳᏉ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ ᎾᎥ ᏚᎾᎴᏂᎴ ᏗᎬᏩᏔᎷᎩᏍᎩ ᏧᎾᏄᏩᎢ;
While they were greatly perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.
5 ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎢᎮᏃ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎳᏗ ᏂᏚᏅᏁ ᏚᎾᎧᏛᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏩᏂᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎬᏃᏛ ᎢᎡᏥᏲᎭ ᏧᏂᏲᎱᏒᎯ ᏄᎾᏛᏅᎢ?
Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6 ᎥᏝ ᎠᏂ ᏱᎦᎾ, ᏚᎴᏅᏰᏃ; ᎢᏣᏅᏓᏓ ᏂᏥᏪᏎᎸᎢ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎨᎵᎵ ᏤᏙᎲᎩ,
He is not here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee [District, Circuit],
7 ᎯᎠ ᏥᏂᎦᏪᏍᎬᎩ, ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎠᏎ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎾ ᏗᎨᏥᏲᎯᏎᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎦᏛᏗ ᏓᏓᎾᏩᏍᏛᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏦᎢᏁ ᎢᎦ ᏧᎴᎯᏐᏗ.
saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be executed on the stake, and the third day rise again?”
8 ᎤᎾᏅᏓᏕᏃ ᎤᏁᏨᎢ,
They remembered his words,
9 ᎠᎴ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛ ᏗᎤᎾᏨᏎᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎸ ᏚᏂᏃᏁᎴ ᏌᏚ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎠᏂᏐᎢ.
teshuvah ·completely returned· from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎺᎵ ᎹᎩᏕᎵ ᎡᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᏦᎠᎾ, ᎠᎴ ᎺᎵ ᏥᎻ ᎤᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᏅᏩᎾᏓᎴ ᎠᏂᎨᏴ ᎠᏁᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏫᎬᏩᏂᏃᏁᎴ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ.
Now they were Mary of Magdala [Rebellion of City tower], Joanna, and Mary [Rebellion] the mother of James [Surplanter]. The other women with them told these things to the apostles.
11 ᎤᏂᏃᎮᎸᎯᏃ ᎠᏎᏉᏉ ᏅᏩᏍᏕᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᏱᎨᎪᎢᏳᏁᎢ.
These words seemed to them to be nonsense, and they didn’t believe them.
12 ᏈᏓᏃ ᏚᎴᏅ, ᏚᏍᏆᎸᏔᏁ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛ ᏭᎶᏎᎢ; ᎤᏗᏍᏚᏅᏃ ᏚᎪᎮ ᏙᎴᏛ ᏗᏄᏬ ᎤᏁᎳᎩ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏙᎦᏁᎢ, ᎤᏓᏅᏎᏃ ᎠᏍᏆᏂᎪᏍᎨ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎸᎢ.
But Peter [Rock] got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.
13 ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᎾᎯᏳᏉ ᎢᎦ ᎠᏂᏔᎵ ᎤᎾᏓᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎸᎯ ᏗᎦᏚᎲ ᎡᎺᏯᏏ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ ᏩᏂᎦᏖᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏁᎳ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎢᏳᏟᎶᏛ ᏂᏚᏓᎴ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ.
Behold, two of them were going that same day (Nissan 17) to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia [7.93 mi; 11.1 km] from Jerusalem [City of peace].
14 ᎠᎾᎵᏃᎮᏍᎬᏃ ᎠᏂᏃᎮᏍᎨ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎸᎢ.
They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened.
15 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎠᎾᎵᏃᎮᏍᎨ ᎠᎴ ᏓᎾᏓᏛᏛᎲᏍᎨᎢ, ᏥᏌ ᎤᏩᏒ ᎾᎥ ᎤᎷᏨ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᏅᏍᏔᏁᎢ.
While they talked and questioned together, Yeshua [Salvation] himself came near, and went with them.
16 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏗᏂᎦᏙᎵ ᏕᎨᏥᏂᏴᎡᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏬᎵᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ.
But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.
17 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏑᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙ ᎢᏍᏗᏃᎮᎭ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏍᏓᎵᏃᎮᎭ ᎢᏍᏓᎢᏒᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲᏉ ᏥᏅᏩᏍᏗ ᏥᏍᏓᏓᏅᏔ?
He said to them, “What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?”
18 ᎠᏏᏴᏫᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏟᎣᏆ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏥᎪ ᎮᏙᎯᏉ ᏂᎯ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏔᎲᎾᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᎿᎭᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎸ ᎪᎯ ᏥᎩ?
One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem [City of peace] who does not know the things which have happened there in these days?”
19 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙ ᎤᏍᏗ? ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᎬᏩᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏥᏌ ᎾᏎᎵᏗ ᏤᎲᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏓᏁᎸᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏥᎨᏒᎩ, ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᏚᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎸ ᎠᎴ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬ ᏥᎨᏎ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎦᏔᎲ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏂᎦᏔᎲᎢ.
He said to them, “What things?” They said to him, “The things concerning Yeshua [Salvation], the Nazarene [person from Branch, Separated one], who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
20 ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏦᎦᏤᎵ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᏥᏕᎬᏩᏲᏎ ᏣᎫᎪᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᎤᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᎬᏩᏛᏅᎩ.
and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and nailed him to the stake.
21 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏚᎩ ᎣᎬᏒᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏏᎵ ᏗᏓᏱᏍᎩ ᎨᏒᎢ. ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎪᎯ ᎢᎦ ᏥᎩ ᏦᎢᏁ ᎤᎩᏥᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎢᎬᏩᎵᏍᏔᏅᎯ;
But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel [God prevails]. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.
22 ᎥᎥ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᎾᏍᏗ ᎠᏂᎨᏴ ᎣᎦᏓᏡᎬ ᎠᏁᎳ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᎪᎦᏓᏅᏓᏗᏍᏔᏅᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎳ ᏧᎩᏥᏍᎪ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛ ᏭᏁᏙᎸᎯ;
Also, certain women of our company amazed us, having arrived early at the tomb;
23 ᏭᎾᏠᏨᏃ ᎠᏰᎸᎢ, ᎤᏂᎷᏤᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᏗᏂᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏙᏥᎪᏩᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏅ ᎪᎪᏏ, ᎤᎾᏛᏁᎢ.
and when they didn’t find his body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
24 ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎣᏤᎯ ᎤᏁᏅᏒᎩ ᎠᏤᎵᏍᏛᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏭᏂᏩᏛᎮ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏄᏍᏕ ᎠᏂᎨᏴ ᏄᏂᏪᏒᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ Ꮎ ᎥᏝ ᏳᏂᎪᎮᎢ.
Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they didn’t see him.”
25 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎢᏥᏁᎫᏥ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᏓᏅᏛ ᎢᏥᏍᎦᏃᎵᏳ ᎢᏦᎯᏳᏗᏱ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏄᏂᏪᏒ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ!
He said to them, “Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
26 ᏝᏍᎪ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᏎ ᎤᎩᎵᏲᎢᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏭᏴᏍᏗ ᏱᎨᏎ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎤᏤᎵ ᏗᎨᏒᎢ.
Didn’t the Messiah [Anointed one] have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?”
27 ᎤᎴᏅᏔᏅᏃ ᎼᏏ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ, ᏚᏬᏏᏌᏁᎴ ᎾᎦᎥ ᎪᏪᎸ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏩᏒ ᎤᏃᎮᏍᎬᎢ.
Beginning from Moses [Drawn out] and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 ᎾᎥᏃ ᎤᏂᎷᏤ ᎦᏚᎲ ᎾᎿᎭᏩᏂᎦᏛᎢ; ᎤᏟᏃ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏥᏮᏗᎦᎶᏏᏐ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏄᏛᏁᎴᎢ.
They came near to the village, where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.
29 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎢᎬᏩᏍᏗᏰᏔᏁᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ, ᎠᏴ ᏍᎩᏂᏒᏏ, ᎿᎭᏉᏰᏃ ᎤᏒᎯᏰᎯᏳ, ᎠᎴ ᎡᎳᏗᏳ ᏫᎧᎳ. ᎤᏴᎴᏃ ᏙᏗᏒᏎᎵᏎᎢ.
They urged him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over. (Finish of Nissan 17, nearing to the start of Nissan 18.)” He went in to stay with them.
30 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᏅᎨᎢ ᏗᎾᎵᏍᏓᏴᏂᏎᎢ, ᎦᏚ ᎤᎩᏒ ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏤᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎬᎭᎷᏴ ᏚᏁᎴᎢ.
When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the matzah ·unleavened bread· and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them.
31 ᏗᏂᎦᏙᎵᏃ ᏚᎵᏍᏚᎢᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᎬᏬᎵᏤᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏛᏔᏁ ᏓᏂᎧᏅᎢ.
Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.
32 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᎾᏓᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏝᏍᎪ ᏗᎩᏂᎾᏫ ᏧᏗᎴᎩᏳ ᏱᎨᏎ ᎭᏫᏂ ᏥᎩᎾᎵᏃᎮᏗᏍᎬ ᏗᏓᎢᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᏕᎩᏃᏏᏌᏁᎲ ᎪᏪᎵ?
They said to one another, “Did not our hearts burn within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”
33 ᎾᎯᏳᏉᏃ ᎠᎵᏰᎢᎵᏒ ᏚᎾᎴᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏔᎵᏁ ᏫᎤᏂᎶᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏂᏩᏛᎮ ᏓᏂᎳᏫᎡ ᏌᏚ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎬᏩᎾᏓᏡᏩᏍᏗᏕᎩ,
They rose up that very hour, teshuvah ·completely returned· to Jerusalem [City of peace], and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
34 ᎯᎠ ᎾᏂᏪᏍᎨᎢ, ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏚᎴᏅ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᏌᏩᏂ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏄᏛᏁᎸ.
saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simeon [Hearing]!”
35 ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏃᎮᎴ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏂᏙᎸ ᎠᎾᎢᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏃᎵᏍᏔᏅ ᎦᏚ ᎠᎬᎭᎷᏯᏍᎬᎢ.
They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the matzah ·unleavened bread·.
36 ᎠᏏᏉᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏂᏪᏍᎨᎢ, ᏥᏌ ᎤᏩᏒ ᎤᎴᏂᎴ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎠᏂᏅᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ ᎢᏣᏤᎵᎦ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
As they said these things, Yeshua [Salvation] himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace be to you; Ena Na [I AM (the Living God)], do not be afraid.”
37 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏂᎾᏰᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏍᎦᎴᎢ, ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎣᏥᎪᏩᏛ ᎠᏁᎵᏍᎨᎢ.
But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎢᏣᏕᏯᏔᏁᎭ? ᎠᎴ ᎦᏙᏃ ᏧᏢᏫᏛ ᏂᏣᎵᏍᏓᏁ ᏙᏗᏣᏓᏅᏛᎢ?
He said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?
39 ᏗᏣᎧᏅᎦ ᏗᏉᏰᏂ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏆᎳᏏᏕᏂ, ᎠᏋᏒᏉ ᎯᎠ ᏥᎾᏆᏛᏅ; ᏍᎩᏯᏒᏂᎦ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏣᏙᎴᎰᎯ; ᎠᏓᏅᏙᏰᏃ ᎥᏝ ᏳᏇᏓᎳ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᏧᎪᎳ ᏱᏚᎸ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏥᏥᎪᏩᏘᎭ ᎠᏴ ᏂᏓᏋᏅᎢ.
See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”
40 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏄᏪᏒ ᏚᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᎴ ᏧᏬᏰᏂ ᎠᎴ ᏧᎳᏏᏕᏂ.
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41 ᎠᏏᏉᏃ ᎾᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎬᎾ ᎨᏎ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᎠᎾᎵᎮᎵᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏍᎨᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎠᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏍᎪ ᎠᏂ ᎢᏥᎭ?
While they still didn’t believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
42 ᎬᏩᏅᏁᎴᏃ ᎠᎬᎭᎸᏛ ᎠᏣᏗ ᎠᏒᎾᏘᎶᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎬᎭᎸᏛ ᏩᏚᎵᏏ.
They gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.
43 ᏑᏁᏎᏃ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏍᏓᏴᏁ ᎠᏂᎦᏔᎲᎢ.
He took them, and ate in front of them.
44 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏂᏨᏪᏎᎸᎩ, ᎠᏏᏉ ᏥᏨᏰᎳᏗᏙᎲᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏎ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ ᎪᏪᎳᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗᏱ ᎼᏏ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᏚᏃᏪᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎧᏃᎩᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᏴ ᎬᎩᏃᎮᏍᎬᎢ.
He said to them, “This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Torah ·Teaching· of Moses [Drawn out], the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”
45 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏚᏍᏚᎢᎡᎴ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏃᎵᏍᏗᏱ ᎪᏪᎵ;
Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
46 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏅ ᎪᏪᎳ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏎ ᎤᎩᎵᏲᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎩ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᎴᎯᏐᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏲᎱᏒ ᏦᎢᏁ ᎢᎦ;
He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Messiah [Anointed one] to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
47 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏚᏙᎥ ᎤᏅᏙᏗᏱ ᎦᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎣᏓᏅᏛ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏍᎦᏅᏨ ᎥᏓᏗᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎨᎦᎵᏥᏙᏁᏗᏱ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏓᏁᏩᏗᏒᎢ, ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᎤᎾᎴᏅᏗᏱ.
and in his name teshuvah ·complete repentance· and remission of sins should be preached to all the nations, starting with Jerusalem [City of peace].
48 ᎯᎯᏃ ᎢᏥᏃᎮᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᏓᎴᏅᏛ.
You are witnesses of these things.
49 ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᎦᏓᏅᎵ ᎢᏥᎷᏤᏗᏱ ᎡᏙᏓ ᎤᏚᎢᏍᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᎦᏚᎲ ᎢᏥᏁᏍᏗ ᎬᏂ ᎢᏣᏄᏬᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏅᏓᏳᏓᎴᏅᎯ.
Behold, I send out the promise of 'Avi ·my Father· on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem [City of peace] until you are clothed with power from on high.”
50 ᏚᏘᏅᏎᏃ ᏇᏗᏂᏱ ᎢᏴᏛ; ᏧᏬᏰᏂᏃ ᏚᏌᎳᏓᏅ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏚᏁᏤᎴᎢ.
He led them out as far as Bethany [House of affliction], and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏕᎧᏁᏤᎮᎢ ᎠᎦᏓᏓᎴᏔᏁ ᎠᏂᏙᎾᎥᎢ, ᎦᎸᎳᏗᏃ ᏩᎦᏘᏅᏍᏔᏁᎢ.
While he blessed them, he withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven.
52 ᎤᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᎸᏃ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏔᎵᏁ ᏫᎤᏂᎶᏎ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎠᎾᎵᎮᎵᎨᎢ;
They worshiped him, and teshuvah ·completely returned· to Jerusalem [City of peace] with great joy,
53 ᎠᎴ ᏂᎪᎯᎸᏉ ᎤᏛᎾ-ᏗᎦᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᏂᏯᎡᎢ, ᎠᎾᎵᎮᎵᏤᎮ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᎸᏉᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ. ᎡᎺᏅ.
and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen ·So be it·.
