< ᏉᎳ ᎨᎴᏏᏱ ᎠᏁᎯ ᏧᏬᏪᎳᏁᎸᎯ 5 >

1 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᏕᏥᏙᎨᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᎿᎭᏂᏕᎩᎾᏝᎥᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏂᎦᎩᎾᏝᎥᎾ ᏂᎬᏁᎸᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏔᎵᏁ ᏥᎡᏥᎩᎳᎾᎳᏗᏍᏔᏂ ᎠᏓᎾᏢᎥᏍᎩ ᎠᎩᎳᎾᎶ.
STAND fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made you free, and be not again held under a yoke of bondage.
2 ᎬᏂᏳᏉ, ᎠᏴ ᏉᎳ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏃ ᏱᏕᏥᎤᏍᏕᏎᎸ, ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎥᏝ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏴᎦᏰᏣᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏓ.
Behold, I Paul declare to you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ will be of no advantage to you.
3 ᎠᎴ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎢᎦᏥᏲᎢᏳᏓᏁᎭ ᎾᏂᎥ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎨᏥᎤᏍᏕᏎᎸᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᎾᏚᏓᎸᎥᏍᎦ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎬ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᏁᎰᎲᏍᏗᏱ.
And again, I testify to every man who is circumcised, that he is under an obligation to keep the whole law.
4 ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎦᏰᏣᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏓ, ᏂᎯ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎢᏣᏚᏓᎴᏍᏗᏍᎩ; ᏕᏥᏲᎯ ᎬᏩᎦᏘᏯ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
Ye have vacated all expectations from Christ, as many of you as are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5 ᎠᏴᏰᏃ ᎠᏓᏅᏛ ᎢᏳᏩᏂᏌᏛ ᎢᏗᎦᏘᏴ ᎤᏚᎩ ᎢᎬᏒ ᎢᎦᏚᏓᎴᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
For we in spirit by faith expect the hope of righteousness.
6 ᎦᎶᏁᏛᏰᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏤᎵ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎱᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎥᏝ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎬᏙᏗ ᏱᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎱᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎪᎯᏳᏗᏍᎩᏂ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏓᎨᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏧᏮᏗᏗᏐ ᏚᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎲᎢ.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith exerting its energy by love.
7 ᎣᏏᏳ ᎢᏣᏙᎩᏯᏍᎬᎩ; ᎦᎪ ᎢᏥᏲᏍᏙᏓᏁᎴ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎨᏥᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ?
Ye were running well: who hath hindered you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎡᏥᏍᏗᏰᏔᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎥᏝ ᎢᏥᏯᏅᏛ ᎤᏓᏅᏖᎸᎯ ᏱᎩ.
This persuasion cometh not from him who called you.
9 ᎤᏍᏗ ᎠᎪᏙᏗ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎦᎸ ᎠᎪᏗᏍᎪᎢ.
A little leaven leaveneth the whole mass.
10 ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏯᎵᏍᎦᏍᏙᏗ, ᏂᎯ ᎢᏤᎲ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏠᏱᏉ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᏕᏣᏓᏅᏛᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ Ꮎ ᎢᏣᏕᏯᏙᏗᏍᎩ ᎤᏍᏛᏗᏍᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ, ᎤᏁᎳᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎦᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be no otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear condign punishment whosoever he be.
11 ᎠᎴ ᎠᏴ ᎢᏓᎵᏅᏟ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎠᎱᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏏ ᏱᎦᎵᏥᏙᎲᏍᎦ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎠᏏᏉ ᎤᏲ ᏂᎥᏋᎿᎭᏕᎦ? ᎿᎭᏉ ᎠᎲᏛ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᎭ ᏗᏓᏙᏕᏍᏗᏍᎩ ᎨᏒ ᏓᏓᎿᎭᏩᏍᏛᎢ.
But I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? then indeed the offence of the cross is at an end.
12 ᎣᏏᏳ ᏱᏥᏰᎸᎾ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏱᏗᎨᏥᎧᎲᏒ ᎨᏣᏕᏯᏙᏗᏍᎩ ᏥᎩ.
I wish that they who trouble you were cut off from you.
13 ᏂᎯᏰᏃ, ᎢᏓᎵᏅᏟ, ᎡᏥᏯᏅᏛ ᎢᏣᏓᏤᎵ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ; ᎠᏗᎾ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏣᏓᏤᎵ ᎨᏒ ᏱᏨᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏇᏓᎵ ᎤᏚᎸᎲᎥᏍᎬ ᎢᏣᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᏥᏥᎳᏅᏓᏕᎶ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ; ᎠᏓᎨᏳᏗᏍᎩᏂ ᎢᏨᏗᏍᎬ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏂᏕᏣᏓᏛᏁᎮᏍᏗ.
For ye have been called unto liberty, brethren; only use not that liberty as a pretext for carnality, but in love be subject one to another.
14 ᏂᎦᎥᏰᏃ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏚᎵᏁᏨ ᏌᏉᏉ ᎢᎧᏁᏨᎯ ᎠᎧᎵᎢᎭ, ᎯᎠᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ, ᎾᎥ ᎢᏗᏍᏓᏓᎳ ᎯᎨᏳᏎᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏨᏒ ᏂᏣᏓᎨᏳᏒᎢ.
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 ᎢᏳᏍᎩᏂ ᏙᏣᏓᏍᎦᎶᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏙᏣᏓᏯᎣᎲᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎢᏤᏯᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏥᏙᏣᏓᏛᏔᏂ.
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed by one another.
16 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏥᏪᎭ, ᎠᏓᏅᏙᎩᎯ ᎢᏣᎢᏎᏍᏗ, ᎤᏇᏓᎵᏃ ᎤᎬᎥᏍᎬ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏂᎨᏣᏛᏁᎮᏍᏗ.
But I say, Walk in the Spirit, and ye will not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 ᎤᏇᏓᎵᏰᏃ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎬ ᏓᎦᏘᎴᎪ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎤᏚᎵᏍᎬ ᏓᎦᏘᎴᎪ ᎤᏇᏓᎵ; ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏗᎾᏓᏡᏗᏍᎩ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏗᎭ; ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᎭ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎢᏣᏚᎵᏍᎬ ᎥᏝ ᏱᏅᎨᏣᏛᎦ.
For the flesh hath appetites contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these act in opposition the one to the other: so that ye do not the things which ye would.
18 ᎠᏓᏅᏙᏍᎩᏂ ᏱᏗᏣᏘᏂᏙᎭ, ᎥᏝ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎠᎲ ᏱᎨᏣᏚᏓᎸ.
But if ye are under the conduct of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᏇᏓᎵ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏕᎤᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎲ ᎬᏂᎨᏒᎢᏳ; ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏍᏗ — ᎠᏓᏲᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏕᎵᏛ ᏗᏂᏏᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎦᏓᎭ ᏗᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏁᎫᏥᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ,
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are these: adultery, whoredom, impurity, lasciviousness,
20 ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏗᏰᎸᎯ ᏗᏓᏙᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏙᏅᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏓᏓᏈᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏗᏗᏲᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏗᏓᏛᏳᏤᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᏔᎳᏬᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏗᏓᏐᎮᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏔᎵ ᎢᏯᏓᏗᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᎾᏓᏤᎵᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ,
idolatry, magical charms, enmities, strifes, jealousies, animosities, quarrels, divisions, heresies,
21 ᎠᏛᏳᎨᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏗᏓᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏓᏴᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏧᏂᏴᏍᏕᏍᎩ ᏧᏂᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗᏓᏂ; ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᏳᎳ ᏂᏨᏃᏁᎭ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎢᏨᏃᏁᎸᎯ ᏥᎩ ᏧᏩᎫᏔᏅᏒᎢ, Ꮎ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏯᎾᏛᏁᎯ ᎥᏝ ᎤᎾᏤᎵ ᏱᏅᎦᎵᏍᏓ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎪᎯ.
envyings, murders, drunkenness, revels, and the like of these, concerning which I tell you now, as I have told you already, that they who live in such practices shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 ᎠᏓᏅᏙᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᎾᏄᎪᏫᏍᎦ, ᎠᏓᎨᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏍᏗ, ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ, ᎬᏂᏗᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏓᏅᏘ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎣᏍᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,
23 ᎤᏓᏅᏘ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎵᏏᎾᎯᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗᏓᏂ ᏗᎦᏘᎴᎩ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎥᏝ ᏯᎭ.
meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.
24 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ Ꮎ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏧᏤᎵᎦ ᏥᎩ ᏓᏓᎿᎭᏩᏍᏛ ᎤᎾᏛᏅ ᎤᏇᏓᎵ ᎨᏒ ᎬᏩᏠᏯᏍᏗ ᎤᏚᎸᎲᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎬᎥᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
But they who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and irregular appetites.
25 ᎢᏳᏃ ᎠᏓᏅᏙᎩᎯ ᎢᏕᎮᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᏉ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᏕᎦᏘᏂᏒ ᎢᏓᎢᏎᏍᏗ.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
26 ᏞᏍᏗ ᏱᎦᏚᎵᏍᎨᏍᏗ Ꮎ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏒ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎬᏙᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏥᎩ; [ ᏞᏍᏗ ] ᏱᏗᏓᏓᎿᎭᎸᏍᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏱᏗᏓᏓᏛᏳᏤᎮᏍᏗ.
Let us not be vain-glorious, irritating one another, envying one another.
