ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ ᏄᎾᏛᏁᎵᏙᎸᎢ 4

1 ᎠᏏᏉᏃ ᏓᏂᏬᏁᏗᏍᎨ ᏴᏫ, ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎢᏳᏩᎿᎭᏕᎩ ᎤᏛᏅ-ᏗᏚᎳᏫᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏌᏚᏏ ᎬᏩᏂᏃᎴᎢ;

And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

2 ᎤᏥᏐᏅᏤᎮ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᏓᏁᏲᎲᏍᎬ ᏴᏫ, ᎠᎴ ᏥᏌ ᎠᏅᏗᏍᎬ ᎠᎾᎵᏥᏙᎲᏍᎬ ᎠᏲᎱᏒ ᏗᎴᎯᏐᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.

Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Yahushua the resurrection from the dead.

3 ᎠᎴ ᏕᎬᏩᏂᏂᏴᎨ ᎠᎴ ᏕᎬᏩᏂᏍᏚᏁ ᎤᎩᏨᏛ ᎢᎪᎯᏛ, ᎿᎭᏉᏰᏃ ᎤᏒᎢ ᎨᏎᎢ.

And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.

4 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏂᏣᏖ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅᎯ ᎤᏃᎯᏳᏁᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ ᎯᏍᎩᎭ ᎢᏯᎦᏴᎵ ᎾᏂᎡᎢ.

Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

5 ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁ ᎤᎩᏨᏛ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏧᎾᏤᎵ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏂᎳᏫᎩ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏃᏪᎵᏍᎩ,

And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

6 ᎠᎴ ᎡᎾ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎨᎶᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎧᏱᏆ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎵᎩ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎨᎶᎯ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏧᏩᏅ ᏚᏂᎳᏫᏤ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ.

And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 ᎠᏰᎵᏃ ᏚᏂᎧᏅ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎ ᏚᎾᏛᏛᏁᎢ; ᎦᎪ ᎤᎵᏂᎬᎬᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎦᎪ ᎦᏙᎥ ᎢᏍᏛᏔᏅ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏍᏓᏛᏁᎸ?

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎤᎧᎵᏨᎯ ᎨᏎ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎢᏥᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏴᏫ ᏧᎾᏤᎵᎦ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏏᎵ ᏗᏥᎳᏫᏤᎯ,

Then Kepha, filled with the Holy Spirit, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

9 ᎢᏳᏃ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏃᏍᏓᏛᏁᎸᎢ ᎯᎠ ᎠᏲᎤᎵ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ, ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎬᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏥᏅᏩᏅᎢ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎪᎯ ᎢᎦ ᎢᎣᎩᎾᎵᏱᎵᏕᎮᏍᏗ,

If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 ᎢᏥᎦᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᏂᎦᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎢᏏᎵ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎠᏂᎦᏔᎮᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏕᎤᏙᎥ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎾᏎᎵᏗ ᏤᎲᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᏓᎿᎭᏩᏍᏛ ᏤᏣᏛᏅᎩ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏥᏕᎤᎴᏔᏅ ᎤᏲᎱᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏩᏂᏌᏅ ᎯᎠ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏗᏩᏒᎯ ᏥᎦᏙᎦ ᏕᏥᎧᏅᎢ.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yahushua the Messiah of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom YHWH raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 ᎾᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᎯᎠ ᏅᏯ ᏥᏥᏲᎢᏎᎸᎩ ᏗᏣᏁᏍᎨᏍᎩ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏅᏏᏴ ᏄᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏗ ᏥᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅ.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᎩᎶᎢ ᎠᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏳᎭ, ᎥᏝᏰᏃ ᏅᏩᏓᎴ ᏕᎤᏙᎥ ᎦᎸᎶ ᎭᏫᏂᏗᏢ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏁᎲ ᎠᎵᏍᎪᎸᏔᏅᎯ ᏱᎩ ᎢᎦᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

13 ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᏒᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ ᎾᏂᏯᎦᎢᎲᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏖᎸ ᎪᏪᎵ ᏂᏓᏂᏏᎾᏒᎾ ᎠᎴ ᎾᏂᎦᏔᎿᎭᎥᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏂᏍᏆᏂᎪᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏃᎵᏤ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏌ ᎤᏁᏙᎸᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ.

Now when they saw the boldness of Kepha and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Yahushua.

14 ᎠᏂᎪᏩᏘᏍᎨᏃ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᎠᏥᏅᏩᏅᎯ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎠᏂᏙᎾᎡᎢ, ᎥᏝᏃ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏫᎬᏩᎾᏛᏗ ᏱᎨᏎᎢ.

And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

15 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏚᏂᏁᏥᎸ ᎤᏂᏄᎪᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᏓᏂᎳᏫᎥᎢ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎾᎵᏃᎮᎴᎢ,

But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

16 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ; ᎦᏙ ᏙᏓᏛᏁᎵ ᎯᎠ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ, ᏄᏜᏓᏏᏛᏒᎾᏰᏃ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᏚᏂᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎸ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏄᎾᎵᏍᏓᏁᎸ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᎠᏁᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᏰᎵ ᏴᎨᏓᏓᏱᎦ.

Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

17 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏟ ᎢᎦᎢ ᏧᏃᏣᎶᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏴᏫ ᎠᏁᎲᎢ, ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛᏯ ᏗᏗᏍᎦᎩ ᏗᏗᏁᏥ, ᎪᎯ ᎢᏳᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏚᏙᎥ ᎠᏂᏁᎢᏍᏗᏍᎬ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏂᏬᏁᏙᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ.

But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

18 ᏫᏚᏂᏯᏅᎲᏃ ᏚᏂᏁᏤᎴ ᏥᏌ ᏚᏙᎥ ᎤᏅᏙᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᏁᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏕᏲᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ.

And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Yahushua.

19 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎠᎴ ᏣᏂ ᎤᏂᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏂᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᏚᏳᎪᏕᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏙᏗᎧᏂᏍᎬᎢ ᏂᎯ ᎤᏟ ᎢᎦᎢ ᎢᏨᏯᏛᏓᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᏗᏧᎪᏓ ᏂᎯ.

But Kepha and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of Elohim to hearken unto you more than unto YHWH, judge ye.

20 ᎥᏝᏰᏃ ᎤᏁᎳᎩ ᎦᏲᎩᏂᏰᎸᏗ ᏱᎩ, ᎣᎩᏂᏁᎢᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎣᎩᏂᎪᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᎩᎾᏛᎦᏅᎢ.

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

21 ᎠᏏᏃ ᏙᎤᏂᏍᎦᏨ, ᏚᏂᎧᏁᎢ, ᎤᎾᏠᏤ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎬᏩᏂᏍᏛᏗᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᏴᏫ, ᏂᎦᏛᏰᏃ ᎠᏂᎸᏉᏗᏍᎨ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎢ.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified YHWH for that which was done.

22 ᎠᏍᎦᏯᏰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᎢᏯᎬᏁᎸᎯ ᎠᏥᏅᏩᏅᎯ ᎤᎶᏒᏍᏗ ᏅᎦᏍᎪᎯ ᎢᏳᏕᏘᏴᏛ ᏱᎰᏎᎢ.

For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.

23 ᏕᎨᏥᎧᏅᏃ ᎤᎾᎵᎪᏅᎯ ᏗᏂᏅ ᏭᏂᎶᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏭᏂᏃᎮᎴ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏂᎬᏩᏂᏪᏎᎸ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᎠᏥᎸ-ᎠᏁᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏂᎳᏫᎩ.

And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.

24 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅ ᏌᏉ ᎢᎦᎦᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏂᏌᎳᏓᏁᎴ ᎠᏂᏁᎬᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᏂᎯ ᏣᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᏗᏦᏢᏅᎯ ᎦᎸᎶᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎺᏉᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᏁᎯ;

And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to YHWH with one accord, and said, YHWH, thou art Elohim, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

25 ᎯᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᏕᏫ ᎠᎰᎵ ᏨᏔᏅᎯ ᎯᎠ ᎢᏣᏪᏛ ᏥᎩ; “ᎦᏙᏃ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏂᏔᎳᏬᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏴᏫ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏖᎴ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎬᏩᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ.

Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

26 ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᏁᎯ ᏚᎾᎴᏅᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏰᎵ ᏧᏂᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎯ ᏚᏂᎳᏫᏨᎩ ᎠᎾᏡᏗᏍᎬ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏡᏗᏍᎬ ᎤᏤᎵ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ.”

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against YHWH, and against his Messiah.

27 ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯᏰᏃ ᎠᎾᏡᏗᏍᎬ ᎾᏍᎦᏅᎾ ᏤᏥ ᏥᏌ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎶᏁᏛ ᎢᏧᎳ ᎡᎶᏛ ᎠᎴ ᏆᏂᏗ ᏆᎴᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏴᏫ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᎠᎴ ᎢᏏᎵ ᏴᏫ ᏚᏂᎳᏫᏨᎩ,

For of a truth against thy holy child Yahushua, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

28 ᎢᏳᎾᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏦᏰᏂ ᎠᎴ ᎭᏓᏅᏖᏍᎬ ᎦᏳᎳ ᏗᏧᎪᏔᏅᎯ ᏥᎨᏎ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ.

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

29 Ꭷ ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎿᎭᏉ, ᏔᎧᏅᎦ ᎪᎩᏍᎦᎬ ᏣᏂᏁᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᏔᎵᏍᎪᎸᏓᏏ ᏘᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᎤᏍᏗᎤᏅ ᎾᏂᏍᎦᎢᎲᎾ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᏣᏁᏨ ᎠᏂᏃᎮᏍᎬᎢ,

And now, YHWH, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 ᎭᏙᏯᎯᏗᏍᎬ ᏕᎯᏅᏫᏍᎬᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏰᎸᏛᎢ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏍᏆᏂᎪᏗ ᏚᏂᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎲ ᎠᏅᏗᏍᎬ ᏕᎤᏙᎥ ᏥᏌ ᎾᏍᎦᏅᎾ ᏤᏥ.

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Yahushua.

31 ᎤᎾᏓᏙᎵᏍᏔᏅᏃ ᎤᎵᏖᎸᏁ ᎾᎿᎭᏓᏂᎳᏫᎥᎢ, ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᏚᏂᎧᎵᏤ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏂᏍᎦᎢᎲᎾ ᎤᏂᏃᎮᎴ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of YHWH with boldness.

32 ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏃᎯᏳᏅᎯ ᏌᏉᏉ ᏄᏅᏁ ᏧᏂᎾᏫ ᎠᎴ ᏧᎾᏓᏅᏙ; ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᎠᏋᏒ ᎠᏆᏤᎵ ᏯᏗᏍᎨ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎤᎲᎢ, ᎠᏰᎵᏉᏰᏃ ᏄᏅᏁᎢ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

33 ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏗᏳᏃ ᎾᏂᏪᏍᎨ ᎨᏥᏪᏍᎨ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᎾᏅᏁᎲ ᏕᏅᎴᎯᏌᏅ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏌ; ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎣᏏᏳ ᎨᎦᏓᏅᏖᏍᎨᎢ.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Master Yahushua: and great favour was upon them all.

34 ᎥᏝ ᎠᎴ ᎩᎶ ᏳᏓᏑᏰ ᏳᏂᎬᎨᎢ, ᎾᏂᎥᏰᏃ ᎦᏓ ᎠᎴ ᏓᏓᏁᎸ ᏧᏂᎯ ᏚᏂᎾᏗᏅᏎᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᏂᎾᏗᏅᏛ ᏧᎬᏩᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏂᏲᎴᎢ,

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏁ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ ᏧᎾᎳᏏᏕᏄᎶᏗ, ᎾᏂᎥᏃ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎤᏂᏂᎬᏎᎲ ᎨᏥᏯᏙᎮᎮᎢ.

And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

36 ᏦᏏᏃ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ ᏆᏂᏆ ᏥᏚᏃᎡᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᏛᎬ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎠᏓᏅᏓᏗᏍᏗ ᎤᏪᏥ, ᎠᎵᏫ ᏌᏈ ᎤᏕᏅᎯ,

And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation, ) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

37 ᎦᏓ ᎤᎮᎢ, ᎤᎾᏗᏅᏎᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏕᎸ ᏚᏲᎴᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏕᎤᏁ ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ ᏧᎾᎳᏏᏕᏄᎶᏗ.

Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
